@blindsquarel @Professor_Plumber Mashed potatoes are a good side dish, of course, but let us not forget that potato salad exists, and it's the master race among all potato dishes. The combination of soft yet still kinda firm, bland tasting potato with the moist texture of the pickled cuccumbers is a match made in heaven.

You didn't get into the graphic design class because of their messup? That's a paddling. I'd flay them, and I do not wake up and choose violence often.

Potato salad has cucumber in? I thought it was just yet another horrible mayo covered dish.
Also, I'm throwing dauphinoise potatoes into the ring, for they are the true victor of potato dishes.

I'm with @TeaCatherine on this one, but I'm also rather partial to roast potatoes, especially with cauliflower cheese or sweet chilli sauce.

ok first it was dauphinoise potatoes and now I learn tha cauliflower cheese exists. Question - does it still have the stench of cauliflowers, or is it edible?

@Princess_Lilly The main thing is cheese. It's just cauliflower in a cheese-and-some-other-things sauce, I'm fairly certain that unless you actually get a piece of cauliflower, you won't taste it. But, I don't hate cauliflower, so I don't really notice the taste of it over the cheese, so I dunno.

@Scooby-Doo the stench of cauliflower is insufferable to me. One of 3 things I can't stomach.

@Professor_Plumber fries are so good, putting them in potato competition is almost cheating lol. But true, they are the ultimate form, the destiny of every potato
