@EllaTheQueen6 honestly, I don't know about the financial situation of public hospital nurses in US so I can't help you with that. The image I have in mind is the TV show about policemen with real cases. They know the drunks by the first name and have to help them get up, go to hospital or home, often in less than ideal hyghenic conditions. And once they sober up, they go back to drinking. I imagine it's the same thing with drug abusers. Some people just don't want to be helped.

yeah that's the problem, I'm a thinker much more than a feeler, I often can't connect with people and emphatize with them, I just can't seem to read their mood and adjust accordingly. I suspect it's some innate ability that I just don't have, but at the uni we had a test of reading emotions that most people score about 5/11, but I scored 9/11 somehow and the person who was conducting the test was seriously asking me wheter I considered a career according to this skill, saying that it's pretty rare.

@Princess_Lilly I've been around alcoholics before, I don't mind them. I wanna become a nurse to help eveyrone, not just the rich people paying for at home care. I know nurses see some absolutely god awful stuff, but I don't mind. As I said, I'm pretty anti-college, but I'm willing to go to college because I really wanna become a nurse.
I'm a big crybaby and pretty emotional. I tend to make decisions based on emotions instead of logic. My emotions have never let me down. I relate to people pretty easily. Actually, I tend to attract people who like energetic people like me, like it's rare for a person not energetic to even agknowledge me. I can adjust really well to people too. I like to cheer people up, because few things feel better than when I manage to make my sad friends happy. I love making people happy. I don't know why, I just do. Though, as I said, I'm best at my abilities with Seef. He's my closest friend, and I'm his closest friend, so we're pretty good at cheering eachother up. One day, I was in the hospital, and I got back and started talking to Seef, and he just kept talking to me about stuff that I liked and kept joking around and stuff, and it took me, like, 3 hours to realize he was tryna cheer me up cause I just spent half the day in the ER. So he can cheer me up pretty well too. Both me and Seef are great at cheering eachother up, it's really nice. Like, Seef was really sad about his final scores because that's what's getting him into college, and yet I still managed to cheer him up. Heck, sometimes Seef doesn't even know he's sad. It's me who has to point out that he's sad sometimes. But yeah, I dunno why I'm good at cheering people up, I just am, and I'm glad I have that ability. Sometimes Seef is so sad I wish I could just hug him and make him feel better, though. But he's all the way out in Egypt (Well, Saudi Arabia right now, but just for 2 weeks) so I can't really do that, huh?

This year is 78th anniversary of our independence day.
A lot of red and white flags and decorations almost everywhere.
There will be some competitions before 17 August such as tug of wars, eating kerupuk, bakiak race, panjat pinang, etc.
