Ok dumb question, but does Nintendo still sell 3ds batteries on their website, or do I have to risk getting scammed on Amazon? My 3ds is an original 2011, so it's definitely been well loved and one time I accidentally left it on the charger for over a year (That's a story for another time) and I'm noticing it's starting to take less and less time for the battery to die, so I wanna replace it before it's unusable without the charger.
Gonna have to risk it on Amazon, I would think. Just make sure the seller is reputable and you should be fine.

@OwlHighway1Revisited I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR LEAF IS STILL THERE @Professor_Plumber Either way, I just need to replace the battery. I've had it for 5 years, and it was secondhand, which means at least one mor eperson had it before me, and it's an original 2011 model, so who KNOWS what other torture has been cast upon it. I accidentally charged it fo rover a year. To explain that, one day, I couldn't find my 3ds. I didn't worry too much as I always lost it. About a year later, I was cleaning my room, and found it still on the charger from the day before I lost it in a box. So yeah, I cooked the battery that way. I was also dumb and put the screen on the highest brightness, so that's also put some pain on the battery. And now the battery still lasts a while, but now I have to actually be careful to not let it die where as before I could use it constantly for days.
