@Snatcher I mean, it's fine really. I'm just mad that they gave my epi-pen prescriptio to someone else. Like, mine was expired, WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO IF I HAD A REACTION BEFORE THEY REFILLED IT AFTER GIVING IT TO SOMEONE ELSE
Thankfully, I haven't had a (severe) reaction in years. Seriously though, I coulda been allergic to anything else, but no, I gotta be allergic to the one thing that's everywhere, heck, my allergist even said that if I get unlucky, I could be allergic to dyed clothes.

@EllaTheQueen6 well...it seems really horrible. I think that a healthcare in US need some communism, lol. I also heard that the problem of homeless exist mainly in big cities and warm states.
What's problem with educational system? Can you have a good education if you go in public school? Can you go in university after it? May you do it for free?
It's really interesting to see a different opinion. I see a many videos on YouTube about life in US and they all said that there a lot of job. Do you live in small south city?
I think that a problem with housing market is global. I can't understand why a big wooden or concrete boxes must be so expensive.

My headphones really had the nerve to die despite me charging them all night
Welp, with dead headphones, being on the PC is kinda pointless, bye y'all (I'll probably be back in a few hours)

@EllaTheQueen6 I don't know, honestly. It's not even realistic to make plans for the whole US, but I would love to go to Hawaii sometime. Also, I'd love to see North America's nature. Yosemite and Yellowstone national parks, whatever state Twin Peaks was supposed to be in (it's fictional but it was in some specific states. Them cakes and trees) and um... I haven't planned that far ahead. What places would you recommend?

I've been mostly wanting to go to Japan, and since I've already been to many countries (Germany, Croatia, France, Italy, Austria, and many more) US could be somewhere on the "after Japan" list.

@EllaTheQueen6 That’s a really sucky thing to be allergic too, I really do hope you don’t get a reaction from dyed cloths as well. I’m granting you my good luck charm works so you can have a great day today!

Edit: I’m sorry to hear about the headphones, I hope you can get them fix, be seeing you, or reading you? Idk.

@AnVold No, it's not that the education is bad (I mean, it is, but still) and more the teachers get paid essentially nothing to deal with screaming kids. Also, you can only go to univeristy if you wanna be in debt the rest of your life form student loans, get a scholarship, or you're rich enough to afford it. And it's not that there aren't any jobs, it's that my mom is too lazy to actually try to get one, we get SSI from my brothers autism and food stamps for being poor, so there are plenty of jobs, she just thinks she's too entitled to actually work, as her excuse it "Ohh, I don't like people, so I can't get a job where I have to socialize" Like, no, mom, work isn't supposed to be fun. You have a child you need to care for, and an adult who's only here to provide for his little sister with his SSI, if I wasn't here, he wouldn't be letting you have the SSI anymore. She needs to stop making stupid excuses and get a job.
@Princess_Lilly Dang, you've been to so many countries, you're so lucky. Also, I don't really have recommendations for a specific state, as I haven't left Michigan since I was a tiny little baby, but I can at least tell you to stay away from California. Michigan is an alright state I guess, but we have high crime rates. If you are to come to the US, I'd recommend maybe Ohio I guess. Though, if you go to Michigan, stay away from Muskegon, this city sucks, don't come here. Then again, it's not that bad I guess. If you come to Muskegon, we got a lot of nice museums and local cafes. We also have a lot of nice architecture and old buildings.
Our local library has old scrolls.
Aight leaving for good this time, see y'all in a few hours

@Professor_Plumber Well that’s how I feel about it sometimes, so it’s nice to hear another person feels the same way, and I think it’s a good thing to take part in conversation you feel comfortable with or feel like you can, rather then just taking part just to take part.

@EllaTheQueen6 Yeah I mean it's kinda easier to visit many countries in Europe than in North America. The country that made the biggest impression on me was Switzerland, and not because of museums or anything. Don't get me wrong, the cheese factory was interesting but I don't remember anything from that one. One thing I remembered was the Alps.

There was this great feeling of space, and at the same time, of huge presence of mountains all around you. Believe me or not, but one of my biggest regrets in life (and it's not that I have many, I think I turned out okay considering what I have been up against) was not taking the pictures there. The smartphones were only just around the corner, so it's not like I'm that much at fault. But I so wish I could just see that view again, if I could I would just drive there for this couple of days.

Actually it synergized well with my PSP and Burnout Legends which just happens to have a Alps track lol. I also bought used Zelda Wind Waker on a bazaar there. Funny how we remember such random things and they become so tremendously important in our lives.

Thanks for taking me down that memory lane

Fluffy dreams, everyone

Socialization and job is very important things for good life. I never thought that something like that need to be explained to adult.
Michigan is where Detroit, right? Is it really a very criminal place? Can you be easily robbed or shot in the middle of the day there?

GENERAL NOTE: As of tomorrow, I'm leaving on my trip. I'll be logging out of NL to take a break (though still reading some of the articles on occasion I'm sure), so that means I won't be fielding any replies for awhile. See y'all in a little over two weeks!

@MarioLover92 Thanks! Currently waiting on some laundry so that I can finish most of my packing this evening. So that'll just leave the few items that'll need packed the day of. On my trip: Thanks! I intend to dump a small update here and there in Discord when I have a bit of downtime (See above regarding NL usage).

It makes sense; why spend a ton of extra time on a game one clearly isn't enjoying, or at least stopped enjoying? Our time is finite and precious, after all. And that certainly extends to more than just video games too. If you resume playing Xenoblade Chronicles 2 while I'm gone, I do hope you have fun, make a lot of progress, and enjoy the ride! Even with its flaws, the game is still worth playing.

@Tyranexx Anytime! Once again, safe travels, and enjoy your vacation. See ya in a couple weeks.

Yeah exactly, if I'm not enjoying a game, I'll just move on to something else. I tried a couple PS4 exclusives and didn't like them - that's pretty much why I didn't get one. I didn't get a PS5, either. I posted a while ago in the unpopular gaming opinions thread about how I didn't like Rocket League, because that game just frustrates the living heck out of me for some reason. So I haven't touched the game since. I don't regret playing them though, it's good to try new things every now and then. They just... weren't for me, lol. Thank you, I think I'm close to the end. It's been a while since I played Xenoblade 2.

@TheJGG Yeah I've always liked replaying the Mario platformers, partially because I really like the sense of progression in them. The secrets, as you've mentioned, are cool to discover as well. It's fun using different power-ups, and in many cases, Mario's just plain fun to control. Just curious, what kind of game is Death Stranding? I did see it's a PlayStation exclusive, I tried a couple other PS4-era games from Sony themselves and I didn't really like them.

"Give yourself the gift of being joyfully you."

Favorite game: Super Mario 3D World
