@EllaTheQueen6 Yeah, I knew right away it was Shamiko. Maybe you're better than you know? It's not about the lines, it's about how you represent emotions, it's about sending a message.

also, you code VNs? Master teach me

@Snatcher From what I heard from various artists, by drawing from references or even observing things and breaking them down (into shapes, looking how light behaves, how shadows are cast) you are "building a visual library" whatever that means (I'm still an amateur), and it helps you along the way.

@Rambler and I was all for it, I don't think I insulted you in any way? I'm sorry if I got defensive, but it sounded like you assumed I had said something I had not.

@Princess_Lilly
Sorry, I asked about that because there was an user with tendency of deleting his account then recreate a new again and his intention was blocking me before I blocked him.
That user is WaveBoy / NeonPizza as his alias.
I'm pretty sure he will delete again and recreate a new again after he felt something not quite right.

I've been hooked to playing Asphalt 9 lately. Also, got the DreamWorks Pinball DLC for Pinball FX, loving that Trolls table, as a fan, I love what they did to the whole table. Throw in being more busy trying to get things done before it gets too hot. Here's some late replies.

@Sunsy Interesting. I might have to check out that movie then! Not sure when since my schedule is full for the next while. Due in part to vacationing for a couple weeks later this month. As for the holiday, I've found that morning showings in general, unless it's a weekend, are usually somewhat sparse. I would've been tempted to go to a movie earlier on the 4th of July as well, but I worked from home most of the day. Time off at my job is weird, albeit flexible. I prefer to put that time towards when I'm on vacation later this month. I don't normally get up to much on the 4th until the evenings anyway.

Enjoy it if you do check it out. Hope you have a good vacation too.

Alright, I thought it might be the holiday, I could understand a work week since people are working. Yeah the theater was quite empty when I went 4th of July morning. Me too, I usually do 4th of July stuff in the evening with mom, same with my friend, so it made the morning free for the both of us to see the movie.

@Sunsy Thanks for the reminder about the Mario movie. I still want to get it on blu-ray though!
That's cool, Sonic Adventure has some awesome music for sure. Same thing with Sonic Adventure 2. Gotcha, I did hear that GameStop used to be Funcoland, but I've not been there since I was way too young back then. Never even heard of Funcoland until way later. We've had stuff like Toys R Us, Blockbuster, and Hollywood Video (which replaced Blockbuster in my area).

Nice, that's one year after Doom hit shelves. Bungie was probably inspired by that game, and of course, we know that they would eventually make Halo.

Those are the Tenta Missiles that you're talking about, loved using that special in Splatoon 2. It's in Splatoon 3, as well.

I have at least one classic Sonic shirt in my closet. Yeah I think I noticed that, I have another Mickey Mouse tee that has his classic character design, which I also got for Christmas last year. It's cool they have everything in all sizes. Yeah Ruby could secretly be a Splatoon player, lol.

Yeah that would be cool to see the Sonic Advance games on the Switch's GBA catalog. I mean, they already got Sega Genesis games in the expansion pack, so why not some of Sega's GBA games as well? Not just the Sonic Advance games, but also stuff like Gunstar Super Heroes and Astro Boy: Omega Factor. That would be a good time to get the expansion pack, you're into Sonic after all. There probably will be a healthy amount of GBA content by then, too.

Apparently, Sleeping Beauty turned out to be a high-budget movie, and if I recall correctly, it was the first Disney film to be widescreen. I'm not really sure why it didn't make as much as the budget, because it's a very good movie. Disney had to make their next movie, 101 Dalmatians, have stuff like a simpler art style, and it did at least do really good in the box office at the time. I'll have to look into Ruby Gillman some more sometime, it's cool that you like it.

I'd love to learn more about the Peach game as well... though that might take a fair bit of time. I'm assuming that we'll learn more about it on the next Nintendo Direct. I like the whole stage play aesthetic! Wonder what worlds Peach would visit in her game. Nintendo also announced the wave 5 courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and one of its courses is one I've been wanting for a long time! Really glad that Daisy Cruiser made a comeback, and to celebrate I'm gonna be playing as Daisy in MK8D for a good while. Daisy's cool anyway, lol.

Yeah, me too. I still haven't picked up the movie yet. That makes the Super Mario Movie and Ruby Gillman two blu-rays I need to get.

Yeah, there use to be a Funcoland where I live. It was the first time the concept of used game came to me. I was so confused as a kid when I bought a game, but there was no box or manual, lol. I use to use Blockbuster Video and Hollywood Video to rent games. It was great for trying games before buying them.

Indeed. It's nice the new extraction shooter Marathon is giving this classic much needed attention. It was mostly known within Mac and Bungie groups.

Nice, funny you bring up Sonic, I'm kind of in the mood to wear one of my Sonic shirts. It just fits since Ruby's character design gives me Splatoon vibes.

Yeah, I'd like to see Sega's GBA catalog make it to Switch Online somehow. It also makes me wonder about some of their other GBA stuff since THQ did developed some of it. At least some of the Sega GBA stuff not developed at Sega of Japan's HQ. I'm thinking stuff like Crazy Taxi Catch A Ride (this was a crazy port, no pun intended, they managed to squeeze Crazy Taxi into a GBA cart) or Sega Smash Pack (funnily enough, Sonic Spinball performs better than Sonic 1 GBA... albeit looping level 1's music on all levels).

Cool, I didn't know about their box office numbers since I saw them on VHS as a kid. Please do, Ruby Gillman is such an underrated movie.

I hope we learn more soon, I'm just happy we're getting a Peach related game. I wonder if Peach's popularity soared because of the Mario movie. That reminds me, I still need to play the new Mario Kart 8 tracks. I've been playing so much Asphalt 9 the past week, and been loving it with the Joy-Con Wheel, just for that arcade machine feel (awesomely enough, Asphalt 9 has an arcade machine too).

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
