@TeaCatherine you see, PCs are like an ork workshop. You never know if something works unless you start pushing buttons.
@Anti-Matter huh. I don't have time to play anything less than excellent, so mediocre doesn't cut it for me. As for rubbish, I just uninstalled Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Cringefest Edition. Shrug

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko class, you know like a job, in many Dungeons and Dragons and other video games, you have knight, barbarian, bard, archer, druid, artificier, necromacner etc.
btw I just knew I had a meme for this occasion somewhere
@Princess_Lilly Ah, I see. So what's a druid?
Also, nice meme

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko druid is the nature guy, the one that uses them runes and summons creatures to fight for him, usually knows some potions etc. Kinda like the historic druids from celtic traditions. Sorry but I gotta go sleep It's already way too late for me

I tried sending a news tip and posting in the Mario movie thread, so just going to say it here. Mario movie is coming to Peacock on August 3rd. It's coming to the streaming service.
@Sunsy No worries on the late replies, I've done late replies as well so it's all ok. Yeah pretty much, it's not unlike how the Wii U plays Wii games, whether it's via the virtual Wii menu, or digital Wii games.
Sonic Adventure was the one I played as well. It was a kiosk at Sears in my local mall. I remember that someone left off at one of the hub worlds as Tails, pretty sure it was Station Square. So I just played around there, not really knowing what to do, lol. I was very young at the time, likely 7 or 8. Nice, at least you got the Dreamcast when Sega was supporting it. Also, GameStop was around as early as the Dreamcast era? I didn't know that, I thought that store started appearing in like 2005 or something. I remember we'd get games at Toys R Us when I was little. I also had the GBA close to launch at least, I had Super Mario Advance and F-Zero: Maximum Velocity. (Would love to play the latter on NSO.) I first got the GameCube on Christmas 2001, with Luigi's Mansion and Super Smash Bros. Melee. Me and my younger brother played the heck out of them both at the time.
Nice, I think I've heard of Marathon once or twice. I don't think I've played any games on Mac. I've had some exposure to Macintosh computers back in my elementary school days, and more recently in one of my college courses, but that's about it.
That's pretty sweet. It feels so satisfying to splat that many opponents in quick succession. Recently, in Splatoon 3, I fired an Ink Vac shot at just the right spot from above, and it managed to splat an opponent. I got splatted right afterward though, lol.
Yeah totally, plus I've seen tees that have the old Cartoon Network and Nicktoon shows from the 90s and 2000s in adult sizes. I'd imagine it's for nostalgia and stuff like that, I know a lot of folks grew up with those shows.
Absolutely, I think I'll keep those VHS tapes as keepsakes. They still have the clamshell cases and the tapes inside, and they look like they're in beautiful condition. That's awesome you two loved Ruby Gillman. I know it's just me, but when I saw that "Kraken" is in the movie title, I can't help but think of the Kraken from Splatoon. lol
If they happen to put Sonic Advance 3 on NSO, we should play it online together. Plus it's been some time since I last played it.
Ah really? That only means the movie in question didn't make as much cash as the budget, nothing to do with the quality of the movie itself. Sleeping Beauty did not do very well in the box office back in 1959, and I watched it for the first time last year and I loved it. It's generally regarded as a Disney classic, too.
Oh and Sunsy, you excited for the Princess Peach game that's coming out next year? I am... I'd love to play it and I'm happy to see that Peach got another game of her own! I'm also excited for Super Mario Bros. Wonder... that game looks insanely good!
Yeah, actually, Sonic Adventure was on my mind today too. Thinking of some of the music from it. Yeah GameStop was around in 1999 and 2000. Actually the same shopping center also had a Funcoland, kind of funny as it turned into a GameStop and there were two GameStops in the same shopping center. The one that was Funcoland ended up staying. I use to go to Toys R Us for games too.
My elementary school had Macs too, also I once took a school trip to the local Newspaper press, which in surprisingly used Macs. Marathon is a great game, Bungie made it in 1994. It eventually got released officially as freeware and was ported to Windows and Linux, I ended up playing the Windows port. I did try a demo of it on Mac at one point.
Indeed. It's even funnier when you're not even trying to get multiple players in one go. I can't remember which special move it was, I think it launched like rockets of ink or something like that. I think I have a video of it too, because why wouldn't I clip that moment, lol?
Indeed, I have a few classic Sonic shirts because of nostalgia marketing companies like to do. AFAIK, DreamWorks usually just sells all their shirts on Amazon in all sizes, hence how I got Trolls shirts in my size. They're not bad too, print quality is usually good, and one time the print was bad, Amazon just let me re-order for no additional cost. Same with Disney too, I've gotten Disney shirts this way as well.
Definitely a keepsake. We really did enjoy it, I'm still thinking about the movie too. Now I wonder if Ruby is a Splatoon player, lol.
I am still waiting to see if the Sonic GBA stuff shows up. Funnily enough, I was playing the Sonic GBA port yesterday, had to sit in a waiting area so brought my GBA to play and Sonic 1 was inside of it. I do want the Sonic Advance stuff on Switch Online eventually, maybe that will get me to buy the expansion pack.
Pretty much, though I've seen some people deem Ruby Gillman as a bad movie because of the low box office numbers. Sad really, since the movie was really good IMHO. Cool, didn't know that about Sleeping Beauty. I hope people love it more over time, even after it comes to Blu-Ray/DVD, or streaming. My friend and I loved the movie.
I saw that, and I was like "are we getting a Super Princess Peach sequel?" I want to learn more about it, that Peach game got my attention.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy Interesting. I might have to check out that movie then! Not sure when since my schedule is full for the next while. Due in part to vacationing for a couple weeks later this month. As for the holiday, I've found that morning showings in general, unless it's a weekend, are usually somewhat sparse. I would've been tempted to go to a movie earlier on the 4th of July as well, but I worked from home most of the day. Time off at my job is weird, albeit flexible. I prefer to put that time towards when I'm on vacation later this month. I don't normally get up to much on the 4th until the evenings anyway.
@Professor_Plumber I'm sure I'll enjoy the Ace Attorney series when I do get to it, and believe me when I say I want to lol. It's mostly a time and "dang there are so many other amazing games to play" first world problem. I can, however, attest that Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective is very much worth getting! Love it, and Shu Takumi had direct involvement with the game.
@MarioLover92 I still need to unlock most of the Great Fairies for the armor upgrades. Enemies in TotK are no joke; some of them hit like trucks. I died more than I care to admit in the beginning until I started accumulating hearts. Part of the reason why I've really pushed Shrines.
I liked drama club, even though I still highly dislike speaking in front of other people. At least with stage lights, it's easier not to see them. I'll at least still do that over public speaking. I will play literally any of the game genres you mentioned over the sports genre. Even racing; though that genre doesn't hold my attention long, I still enjoying delving into it on occasion.
Sorry to see you lost poor Wil in The Blazing Blade, but them's the breaks in the older games I guess. Hopefully your future losses are kept to a minimum. On Bowser's Fury: Duly noted! I'll probably try that mode first since I played through SM3DW on the Wii U, though I'll certainly play the regular game as well. We could try to put you in cryostasis until Super Mario Bros. Wonder releases, but that might add up fast.

@Professor_Plumber
I got Lego Lord of the Rings, Lego Movie Videogame, Star Wars Battlefront 2 ( the old one), Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Cold Cold heart dlc for Arkham Origins, Shovel Knight Treasure Trove, and Sonic Generations.
A lot of games I haven’t had access to over the years so I’m exited to try them. Especially the Sonic ones.
