@Anti-Matter your art is quite good as well, however you have a very strictly defined style and subject of preference… So I just don’t know what to say without being repetitive. Do know that I think you’re pretty good at it though.

I’m currently into watercolor, so I can relate to Zuljara’s progress and comment on it much more naturally.

Well, I have my own signature Chibi looking design as you can see from current avatar so I will not change to make sure peoples can recognize my drawing signature.
About the things I drawn, mostly I drawn for my Art lesson grade 1 - 3 so the drawings or my paper craft are pretty basic since my design have to be designed easy enough for my students to follow. I don't draw something that I considered inappropriate and offending since I'm working in school and dealing with kids so my drawings design have to be appropriate for kids.
My current avatar with some titles on the cover was inspired from CD Album style of Rhythm games and since I like Boxing stuffs, I made a lot of cute Boxers added with titles talking about Boxing. I played with some words about Boxing to make interesting idea about Boxing drawings. I got the words ideas from Super Eurobeat songs by Avex Trax licensing where the songs were mostly talking about racing, passion of love, broken heart, etc so it gave me ideas to put some Boxing related words for my Chibi Boxing design.
I can draw anthromorphic animals for something different if you ever saw my Arnold the Eagle as my previous avatar. I spent a lot of time to designed them with my own style and yet I still get ignored here just because my design are not appealing for peoples here.
I mean are my design not good enough ?

Trivia: ALMIGHTY (THE POWER YOU NEED) was actually from my Boxing on Ice 2021 design as the banner of ice ring.

@Eel the problem I have with this paper is that even after some wet on wet brush strokes it will start peeling. It is so hard to mix colors on it.

And the only problem with the 300g/m 100% paper blocks is the price

@Zuljaras my bloc will form little fluff balls if I get too water-happy, it ends up looking rather unappealing.

@Anti-Matter oh it looks like these have the deviant art watermark. Is that something you add on purpose?

Yup.
I added with watermark from Deviantart feature to protect my drawings as I discovered my oldest Chibi boxers design from year 2013 got stolen by other peoples and they redesign my Chibi Boxers with their own design and they posted on Twitter as NFT advertising. 😤

It was also my fault to design my first Chibi Boxers in PNG file without backgrounds to protect my drawings and since year 2017, I didn't posted individual Chibi Boxers design in PNG file so peoples will not able to steal my design anymore. @Eel Yes! That is exactly what I meant!

Also there is a difference between cold press and hot press watercolor paper.

The cold press is textured and has great bumps. It is the classic watercolor experience and 99% of the artists prefer it. White the hot press is incredibly smooth and dry brushing for example is impossible on it.

@Zuljaras mine says cold press. I do quite enjoy the texture to be honest. 😅 but the fluff balls are annoying.

I should try doing watercolor again at some point. I experimented with it in my drawing class and it didn't really click with me at first for some reason. I typically do drawings with stuff like 3B pencils and kneaded erasers.

Watercolor is good. I used to like to paint with pretty much anything, though my favorite being acrylic.

Since we're all sharing our watercolour experiences, we previously lived near some old pencil factory that had been converted into a museum, they sold their own type and we got quite a few boxes full. None of us were very good with them, though.

I love watercolors! Why are we talking about water colors again?

I still suck at water coloring.
I prefer using normal color pencils to color.

Watercolors are great. Not only are they good for actual art, but they were the best in elementary school.
