@Eel I do not get those fluctuating prices at all
I googled it and the set looks nice.

@Zuljaras prices fluctuate a lot on these types of things it seems. For example, the Van Gogh set you recommended? I’ve seen it go between 40 and 80 US dollars over the last month.

Perhaps it’s because they’re European imports. It would probably be a lot more stable if I decided to look at American supplies.

@Eel 40 dollars is still too much. Like it is twice the normal cost even at 40. 80 is just criminal!
There sre some nice US brands.
I think that in this video the guy shows a reliable US brand.

@Zuljaras Thanks! Well for now I already bought the Viviva set, so think I’ll be set for a while.

We’ll visit Los Cabos this weekend for a car checkup, so hopefully I’ll be able to visit an office supplies shop or something like that… to see what can I find in regards to markers and pens.

My vacation went well.

Well, this happened.
I threw up for the first time in 4 years, I feel really good now though, and it was my fault, I shouldn't have eaten those wings and went straight to bed.
Other than that, pretty nice trip.

@Princess_Lilly all you need from a hobby is to have fun

I am fairly new in the traditional painting so I picked watercolors as they are very versatile.

Some tutorials that show few techniques are very valuable as well.

@Rambler I forgot there are such age rules, but then again I played GTA 3 when I was 7. But yeah it was just violence and stuff going on on Twitter is much much worse.

@Zuljaras Yeah but I'm still amazed, I bought a screen tablet and I don't have anything else to buy, but it was still pretty expensive. And you have to buy paint, brushes, paper, and tons of stuff that you're gonna have to put somewhere. With the amount of practice I had with straight lines and simple shapes, I would go broke just with the wasted paper and pencils.

@Princess_Lilly actually my pencils, the watercolor set, watercolor paper (you cant just paint on normal paper) and brushes are less expensive than my iPad Air BUT in time they will catch up

Still digital is my go to when designing stuff for my game and creating assets.

Traditional art is more of a relaxing side hobby

@Professor_Plumber That would be cool, maybe get some practice before wave 5 hits. It's been a fair while since I played Mario Kart, because, you know, Tears of the Kingdom. Really happy that Daisy Cruiser made a comeback, it was one of my favorites from Double Dash! So much so that I'll be playing as Daisy for a good while, lol.
