I think FiM (Friendship is Magic) did its job to make My Little Pony have a more broad appeal. I mean I'm a boy and I quite enjoyed the show and movie.
@Owl1 oh yes definitely, from he change in artstyle, to the relatability with the characters, it definitely helped it find a bigger fanbase then just little girls.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

I hate it when people try to make me smile for photos. I look like a serial killer when I try to smile on purpose, plus the attempts to make me laugh annoy me more than anything.
@Owl1
I was never a fan of my little pony, but did they really make them humans? That kinda takes away the main point of the show.
@Eagly
I see the franchise is trying to extend their reach to the Breaking Bad audience. Please tell me Pinky Pie becomes a drug lord. ( or whatever they do in breaking bad.)

@blindsquarel Someone probably was thinking of Halloween costumes and dolls.
@Professor_Plumber We talking about My Little Pony and other mature things currently...
@Eagly it is. Did you not like the giant cat and really weird opening that didn't even do anything to the plot, the plot is already super generic so... 5/10
@Eagly Ah ok! That makes more sense lol! Which would you say has been more enjoyable to you thus far, the hardest difficulty or normal?
Do I have to do the secret boss after or before the end of the game?
That’s great to hear! When I say I don’t know much about this game, I really don’t lol, in fact I saw a video and it made me want to play it, is it spoiler? Maybe but I can’t remember it to well, I will find the video and show you guys later! And there are parries? Sign me up!
Man, didn’t the one if he devs or something say they made it so you can play it without playing the others? From how it sounds it sounds like 2 is better for that than 3.
So it’s like you said, it’s just an ad for 3 in every way huh, and from seeing you say they haven’t changed the combat it definitely feels lower budget, something they kinda added in last minute I guess, I will see when I get there.
Torna is legit the best dlc I have ever played, it’s litrally dlc!
If they did I wouldn’t be surprised, xenoblade knows how to make good character design, wile I know many would disagree, and she does kinda have that feel about her, Compared to AOC, her model is pretty different.
I liked he ninjago movie, but it felt so forced, they had a whole world, a whole tv show built, all they had to do was adapt the first season and make it lego movie like, but nooo, they had to re do the whole thing for no reason, if I had the pick, mlp was way better from a narrative standpoint, and definitely had the better villain hands down.
@blindsquarel fish, steaks! Ribs, pizzas, hamburgers, the best kind of salads, breakfast that puts McDonald’s to shame! If you want it, we got it!

Didn't game as much as I wanted to this weekend between deciding to wash windows and do a couple other things on my property since the weather is still fair; it's supposed to warm up in a few days and won't be cooler for awhile. I'll have to kick my AC back on. Plenty of time to dig into TotK this evening though!
@Owl1 Will do! Socks are a cert. Soap and shampoo...will have to be maybes. We're mostly staying in hotels, but IDK how well they stock certain supplies there.
@Sunsy It's a good thing I don't always trust first impressions; if so, the DS remake of Super Mario 64 would've scared me off. Knowing it was a port helped. I never had access to a N64, so the Wii U VC version was my first proper try. It did occur to me that part of my slight control woes with the game could be that I was using controllers it wasn't originally wired for (pro controllers both times). I've heard of the backwards long jump but never have attempted it. XD
If you want my take on your Chuck E. Cheese experience...that lady should've minded her own business. Technically, any parent or guardian there is too old. IMO, you were fine as long as there wasn't a posted age limit for certain areas. Some adults are just nasty to kids unfortunately. Reminds me of a bad airplane experience one time.
Now THAT take on Crazy Train I'd like to hear! I do like some classic rock and metal, and Ozzy is pretty far up there for me. Pretty awesome fact that Ozzy lent his voicework to the movie! I also heard Simon & Garfunkel's The Sound of Silence in a clip once too. I prefer the cover by Disturbed, but the original has a good beat too. The finale song sounds very good. I do hope you get to the movie as soon as you reasonably can! I totally understand being excited to watch them.
@MarioLover92 Funny, I've been busy with things IRL, and TotK is devouring more of my limited spare time than gaming typically does lol. You've hit on one of the reasons why I enjoy the Zelda series so much: many of the games require you to use your head in order to solve puzzles and unlock a way forward. Majora's Mask is one of my favorite Zelda games (Well, MM 3D; I have yet to play the original), but the game understandably isn't for everyone since it is fairly different than other Zelda entries...as well as one of the darkest.
I figured you'd pick Team Train! I'm glad you enjoy those new MK8D courses. I don't recall doing Merry Mountain, though I've heard of the course before. Kalimari Desert rings a bell though! It's been a bit since I've played MK8D...I don't think since either Wave 2 or Wave 3 dropped. And only fleetingly through online matches since I didn't invest in the Booster Course Pass.
On Germany: Thanks! I leave in a couple of months and will be gone about two weeks. Though I'll be off work an extra day just to make sure my house didn't blow up while I was gone...and probably will mow...and buy groceries...etc.
@Eagly Been loving TotK, thanks for asking! Nowhere close to beating the game since I've been trying to explore each map region as I unlock it (not thoroughly, but close). I sense some tongue-in-cheek in that paragraph regarding XC3. Don't worry, I've so far avoided spoilers, though unfortunately my Google feed keeps trying to recommend related Reddit threads...not tapping into those with a twenty foot pole. I do think The Rock was decent as Maui in Moana, but it seems like he's now "token kid-friendly strong guy" for movies. Not a bad thing, we just need more variety IMO. I do plan to segue in Peacemaker eventually since I do like the DC universe...more than Marvel actually, though the X-Men are still my favorite hero team, and my favorite anti-heroes are still on the Marvel side (namely Deadpool and Magneto). On my trip: I'll still be rooming with someone to help save on costs a bit - we're at least trying it out - but at least it won't be with my parents lol. Believe me, I'll make a comprehensive list before leaving.
The problem with Tri Force Heroes is that you needed three other players for the full experience. Single player was subpar, and you couldn't swing it with just two. It was...an odd design choice. I still have Four Swords Anniversary Edition and wished I could share it in some way remotely, but unfortunately there isn't a way to do so (Well, legally). I haven't played Four Swords Adventures since it's GCN only. They do deserve the remaster treatment.
Conversely, Zelda is my favorite Nintendo franchise, though I assure you Xenoblade is towards the top and has rightfully earned its place. I'll likely take a break from open world environments after TotK for a bit; the game is MASSIVE. One Moebillion hours. Pun points for you! Though I detect more Rotbart malarkey lol. On Sena: I just wish we'd known more about her before she met up with Mio at Colony Gamma, similar to how Taion's story was explored. Shania's background is...sad to say the least, and it's easy to see what led to some of her choices. Her death though...I was shocked. I think the only reason it didn't push the game up to a M rating is because it technically happened off-screen. The Xenoblade series isn't adverse to taking risks - some dark material was covered in side quests in XCX for one example - but XC3 pushed the envelope even farther IMO. I think the game's entire audience sided with Monica on that one. It's like Shania's mom doesn't understand why her daughter made the choices she did. Then again, I don't think she truly understood her daughter and didn't even try to, unlike her late husband. One honest pseudo-spoiler question regarding Future Redeemed though: Is the file indeed separate from the main game?
