Guys... I can't stop playing Tears of the Kingdom! Really liking my time with the game, and I've made some decent progress in it, too. I also finished Splatoon 2's story mode, so I kinda wanna do the same for Splatoon 3 sometime before Side Order comes out. Hope everyone is doing well.
@Tyranexx Oh yeah absolutely, if there's a boss that you can't beat with the item you got in its dungeon, it does allow for some creative thinking on how you could tackle it. It's always good to do creative thinking after all. Yep it does seem that Tri Force Heroes is best played with multiple folks that are, you know, trustworthy, lol. Thanks, I'll be sure to get the drawing out there when I get a chance.
Ah OK, that's good to know on all that. So I won't get lost regardless if I finish Phantom Hourglass or not, right? And thanks! We ended up playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and played on every course that had trains in them - Super Bell Subway and Kalimari Desert to give a couple examples. Plus, Peach Gardens in honor of Mother's Day! Going on a slightly different track, (I had to make that pun, lol) I'm kind of hoping that Splatoon 3 would have a transportation-themed Splatfest... guess what team I would pick?
@Sunsy That's cool that GOG has that gifting feature, it's a nice feature to have for sure. Awesome to see your friend got into GOG that way.
I agree for sure, I've actually been hoping for Disney to rerelease stuff like Castle of Illusion on the Switch. I think they added The Jungle Book to their collection that has Aladdin and The Lion King, would be sweet to have stuff like the aforementioned Castle of Illusion, and the Magical Quest games that were on the SNES. We had Pinocchio as well, though we had the SNES version. I don't think I knew it came out on the Genesis until fairly recently.
Oh, gotcha. That's good you got it replaced.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Eagly I’m so happy I watched that review a whole year before I started playing it lol. I know people make mistakes but I’m sure whatever it was was so obviously a spoiler it’s not even funny lol.
so she is like mythra? Just without the agility, I’m just afraid tot are Melia off, because some enemy's have AOE attacks, and that makes it hard to heal from, and while yes Melia doesn’t really heal, she gives all the agility and physical buffs.you also mentioned she is a fast attacker, speaking of which, should I add stuff for shulk to attack faster, im so stupid I should have shouldn’t I? Dang it! Oh and you also said Melia is a glass cannon right? That means I should neglect her attack, and I should give her some of her damaging moves right! Because right now all I have on her is her buffing moves
@Professor_Plumber Im so happy to hear that! People have waited a wile for this game, so it’s nice to hear that it’s fresh compared to the first one, and isn’t just bigger dlc.

@Owl1
I want to go over there so bad, but I can’t stop myself from exploring hebra. And I just got in the depths so I will probably spend like 5 hours in there, if my past trips are any indication.
Tomorrow I'm gonna go see the Mario movie one last time, then I'm going to this all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet that I enjoy going once (or even twice!) a month.
Forums seem quieter than usual. Must mean there's a new game out or something....XD My USB mouse is on the fritz, so I'm unfortunately stuck with my laptop's touch pad until I buy a replacement.
@Professor_Plumber Actually, I was pretty tired Thursday night/early Friday morning (didn't get to bed until a little before 1). Sleeping wasn't very hard at all. I did a ton of yard work earlier in the week and also had a sweat session Thursday evening too. My body needed some R&R.
@Sunsy I didn't really mind the FLUDD mechanics once I got used to them. My main issues were the forced no FLUDD sections...some of those were painful. I wouldn't have minded them nearly as much if you weren't required to get the first seven Shines in each area to unlock the final encounter. I also experienced a couple of glitches such as Mario clipping through platforms when he shouldn't have. And he's still somewhat floaty/slippery in that game, which is one of my complaints with Super Mario 64 too.
I walked by the abandoned theater I mentioned today since I was playing Pokemon Go in our downtown area; I was out running an errand for Mother's Day tomorrow, plus I needed some fresh air after going crazy with Tears of the Kingdom on my day off yesterday. XD So sad that it's just sitting there...derelict. It's smack against other buildings in use though, so I doubt they'll level it unless it becomes a major hazard.
@MarioLover92 Definitely. I can't easily count how many times I was confused about how to use an item to advance before it would finally click; it's basically like solving a dynamic puzzle. I really do think I would've enjoyed Tri Force Heroes more if I could reliably play with others when needed. Though grinding for outfits would've been a pain regardless.
To be fair, Spirit Trackstechnically reuses some characters/models, but it's set 100 years in the future from Phantom Hourglass; very few of those characters are the same. I hope you did have fun with those MK8D courses; the trains allow for some fun dynamics in that game. Pun points for you! You'd maybe pick...Team Train?
@blindsquarel@Professor_Plumber This is what makes me feel excited for silk song, when it finally comes out, I will be so happy! And I. Sure that’s how botw feels to a lot of people! Now I wasn’t much of a fan of the first game, no, that’s not right, I got like 50 or so hours, I loved the game, wile I didn’t finish it, it just wasn’t something I was really into, not that I didn’t like it, but botw 2, man something about makes me excited, I want to play it so bad, it just adds stuff I feel like I always wanted but didn’t know I wanted, if that makes sense.

@Snatcher Oh it feels like a $70 game.
Honestly between Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Tears of the Kingdom, I'm starting to see the quality in the price bump
Oh Jedi survivor, I loved the first game so much! How is it compared to the first one? I have heard great things! However, one problem, he is not wearing a poncho. And if the prices are increased, then I hope that means quality and fun as well!

@blindsquarel Hollow knight is difficult but when you get the mechanics down, it gets easier, granted it’s still hard, but much easier once you get the movement down, and you do get more option as the game goes on, I hope whenever you do get to it, I hope you enjoy it, because you will feel like you ripped off the devs.
