Ya, it is very overwhelming, but the traveling is so much fun it rarely becomes a chore (imo).

@Professor_Plumber It took me 7 tries to get to the Fuze shrine, and each time was completely different. It was honestly amazing how fun it was just trying to get from A to B and failing many times.

I'm on my 8th Shrine not counting the tutorial ones, I found Impa, I made a huge mistake, and made a spoon sword.

Yeah, not gonna lie the underground might be my favorite. Ran into a good amount of mini bosses down there.

It is good. If everything keeps going the way it is, TOTK is gonna be near the top of my Zelda games list. Which is essentially my top games of all time list.

I’m surprised at how much they changed. It doesn’t feel similar to BOTW at all.

@Owl1 That’s not a spoiler, link dies at least 186 times minimum whenever I play a Zelda game, usually via breaking link’s legs when I forget to use the paraglider

@Eagly Yup, I've heard that a lot in the very short amount of time I've looked at the Xenoblade subreddit recently. Seriously, we have (excluding Vangarre who shares the same Japanese name as the Vandhams) about 8, dunno if I should count Na'el or not.

@Eagly I do kind of hate the fact there are two Ghondor Vanhams, though. I'm a great believer in the one Steve limit.

@Eagly To be honest I don't remember Sworn Protector Hector and that's probably because I've never read it aloud in my mind.
I don't know, I'll look at pictures of them sometime for comparison.
I wonder how they came up with the idea to just name UMs a normally mundane name preceded with a (normally) dramatic adjective.

I feel like I'm stuck, the progress isn't great and even though I'm trying new things, I end up defaulting back to the same things I've been doing over again.

@Eagly Well, yeah I know that, I just kind of assumed they also had daft names in Japanese as well. Unfortunately, the wiki doesn't seem to say the JP names so I can't check. Yeah, I've heard Riku's JP voice and god is it jarring after hearing the English one.
