@Owl1 thanks, you just reminded me that I have one I thought I'd get one since it was an option, so I put the first wide image I had lol. Didn't really think anyone bothers clicking on others' profiles, though.

I would be happy if a TTYD remaster did happen, but I honestly would rather Nintendo releases a new game. Take the old battle style and combine it with everything else from Origami King with a more in depth story, and you have the perfect Paper Mario game.

@Eagly Indeed, it's pretty much every year I hear something superhero related, it's a big market.
Agreed with all of that, funnily enough something like that is why I left the DreamWorks subreddit. Mostly because some fans saw the company's recent output (as of 2021, I stopped going December 2021), as the worst thing ever and take it out on fans of said movies. Similarly, hope you enjoy the Megamind series, and it's nice fans of that series get something new.
@ComfyAko Indeed and agreed. Buying a ticket to see a movie, or watching a show, or buying merch pretty much makes you a fan. I love Trolls, but I do not have any shares in DreamWorks just for being a fan. Will admit, the social media page for Trolls is cool, they regularly showcase fanart.
Yeah, I don't post often in comments because of it. I tend to notice the toxic people tend to post in comments more than the forums. Going by my experience here.
@Owl1 what do you mean, an African or European swallow?
@Sunsy yeah, people will try to be more rude as if it was a way to force their argument into being correct. I should have left earlier. Sometimes people will start smearing you and the urge to fight back is holding you in the discussion, even though you will get nothing out of it. But as everywhere, backing out is the best way of dealing with it. Works especially well on the internet where nobody can follow you.
That's why I stopped interacting with people on the internet and irl for a longer while. But I'm happy I found this forum

Guys, I was in the run for the Mario Movie. But, something happened
The Pirates! was my first ever animated film. But I got that role through a contest. Tv filmed it at the time and the director (a woman) told enthusiastically "David has a lot of talent! Really really nice!" She said me to do series, and I tried to ask her afterwords about some information. I never really got a clear answer. 7 years after the first movie , I got a call for another faith based studio to do another animation. They were quite happy with me. After a few years another followed, about the true story of "John Newton" (about the stopping slavery.) - Last year, I did a voiceover course with a famous dutchvoiceactor and coach who is now in Los Angeles (online), the coach knew the voice director and called her for advice. The lady in question said to the voice coach; "You shouldn't deal with him, that's a stalker!!" . - just to be clear I haven't seen, heard, spoken to her in 10 years.
They said to me that there wasn't the "right role". Ok, well, that's fine with me. Even though they didn't knew me that well...
A few days ago I heard a fellow voice actor had to "turn down" the voice of a toad character because he was busy.
But today I saw who directed the Dutch Movie. That same woman who directed the first one that I did, and called me the stalker.
Does this mean that I never do animation again? no, in fact, I have been asked for another animated series. But still. I am trying to learn lessons from life.
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@Owl1 On the subject of Fireflies, that's one of the songs we play at our craft fairs. @EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, huskies are cute, basically any seriously fluffy dog is great in my opinion.

@Owl1 They're Now CDs and I believe the one I'm talking about is from 2019, some of them have better music on due to not only covering the 21st century ones, but the one with Fireflies on has like 3 discs and only about 5 decent songs on.
