@Sunsy Thanks as well! I'm looking forward to it, though it'll have to be the later showing (7 PM) since I intend to go home, exercise, and eat beforehand. Might still buy some water or something at the theater though. Sounds like a pretty cool cake; what flavor was it?
@Eagly Hope you had a nice break. Internet breaks are necessary now and then.
Do you know what else the Switch has? ARMS! I don't really mind the Switch's graphics, though I don't own a PS5 and don't have a TV capable of outputting more than 1080p RN. I actually want to build a gaming PC, but with an upcoming big purchase (or a series of them) I might be pushing that back a bit. In terms of console cycles though, the Switch is certainly getting on in age. It's approaching retirement, but probably a late one. XD
I very rarely preorder a game outside of certain scenarios and special editions, not to mention release day shipping where I live isn't reliable. That said, I do want to secure a copy day one and am curious about the GameStop Zonai carving extra...even if it is a "glorified cutting board" lol. I'll take some exotic swag. I was sold on the fusion and ascend mechanics, though I'm sure there's a lot more we haven't seen yet.
In a way, those traits make both Shulk and Rex seem more human and, thus, relatable. TBH for the most part I'm sick of heroes being some sort of blameless paragon who can do no wrong, because that isn't how human nature operates. The Poppi hug was unexpected but welcome and wholesome; IMO she becomes more "human" as XC2's story arc continues after her activation (even if I did find the maid bit cringe and unnecessary). I don't usually bother with superbosses since that often requires a lot of grinding, which I'm not really a fan of doing just for the sake of it. I think I'll just revisit the XC3 post-game when I get the DLC vs. starting a new file...at least at that time.
Currently playing: Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Switch)
@Eagly I’m going to respond in full but I found the article I was talking about! It was about hungrybox, because he had a thumbnail zoomed in on there chest, and it went from him, to talking about sexism in the smash community, and pyra and mythra seem to be there bases, and blame fanart for, some reason? Even tho I can’t find one community that doesn’t have risky fanart, and claiming people would be mad if the dlc fighter wasn’t a wifue, which is dishonest. However I will let you read the article for yourself, if you want, and form your own opinion, it’s not nearly as bad as I remember, and it’s not like I disagree with the points, but I kinda disagree with some of them. https://www.invenglobal.com/articles/13332/i-shouldnt-encoura...
Played Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3 today. Honestly, I'm loving this game. I didn't look into it much, I noticed Nintendo Life gave it a 5/10, and I disagree with that. This whole game just feels like a love letter to Nickelodeon. There's stuff from Nick's past and present, and I'm having fun with the racing, and the online play is surprisingly smooth, my friend and I didn't experience lag.
I started playing with Jimmy Neutron, but I'm starting to main Lincoln Loud, despite never seeing any Loud House episodes. I have no way to watch the show, so I may check out the movie on Netflix sometime.
@Eagly Alrighty. If there is one on that is also on Switch you could try, it's Star Wars Episode 1: Racer. I have it for N64 and more recently PC, it's pretty fun. Actually played the PC version last month via LAN multiplayer with my friend.
Ok, while I'm not familiar with Megamind, I wouldn't be surprised if DreamWorks made nods to the movie. They did that with the Trolls cartoons, they mention moments from the movies. (Spoiler is for Trolls: The Beat Goes On and the movie Trolls) For example, in Trolls: The Beat Goes On, Poppy gives Branch a plushie that she found in the tunnels they escaped Bergen town from, a plushie that Branch lost during the escape.
@Tyranexx Enjoy it, stay for after the credits, don't leave too soon. I remember seeing this site mention it in a news headline, friend and I stayed and was not disappointed at all. It was yellow cake with strawberries in the middle.
Somebody help me make @Owl1 laugh please! I’m going to lose them!
@Eagly I will do that happily! Give me a day or two!
Owl house had everything it Needed to be a long and heathy series, the fact that they compacted the ideas into hour specials are vary, vary impressive, they probably would have had at least three more seasons.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!
(My friend code is SW-7322-1645-6323, please ask me before you use it)
I bought the Borderlands Legendary Collection for the Borderlands 1 cartridge. I have a download code that includes Borderlands The Pre-Sequel and Borderlands 2.
If anyone here LOVES those 2 games tell me and I will give you the code. I do not want them as I prefer physical games.
PS: It is really a shame that the switch cartridge with Borderlands 1 do not include the DLCs But what to expect from 2K scumbags!?!
