@Colonel_Mustache You ain't gotta apologize. He came back from the milk store when I was 11. I mean, I didn't like him at all, so he went back to the milk store when I was 12 because I didn't wanna spend time with him. Really, don't gotta be sorry, just be like me and make jokes out of it,

@Colonel_Mustache Here's how he came back from the milk store. Basically, one of my brothers (CJ) had came from out of state for a funeral. We didn't know he was in town, but me and my mom were driving home from the farmers market and saw therecar, so we followed him to I could sya hi to my brother. And so CJ steps out of the car, and then so does my dad. He didn't plan on seeing me, I didn't plan on seeing him, didn't even know he was int he car we just saw my brother and decided to go say hi. And then my dad sees me and decides that he wants to move from Texas to Michigan so that he could be part of my life after leaving me when I was -7 months old. And so that happened, I insulted him in Japanese whenever he came to my hosue because he didn't speak Japanese, he only spoke Spanish and English. I ignored him, and so he left again. I dunno where he is now, and I don't care. Still talk with CJ though, CJ is chill. Back on New Years, he came for a surprise visit.Like, my mom didn't know he was coming, he just knocked on my door on January 1st. I was asleep at the time, but my mom wasn't. So she let him in, and I woke up to him talking. I didn't know it was CJ cause I had only heard his voice 2 other times in my life so I couldn't recognize it. Then he asked my mom where I was and she said I was asleep,and at this poitn I was confused why a person was asking where I was. Then my mom yelled my name and said my brother was here and I'm like "Cool." and got up and got dressed. Then my brother took me out to the book store and I got to meet my nephew in law. I have a nephew who's literally older than me.

I could have done that, but I’m glad I just deleted the entire account. Most of the site just felt toxic, and I spent more time worrying about how people would respond to my comments than I should have. It wasn’t just politics either.
It was a constant attack about not just my religious views, but religion in general. And most subs were just an echo chamber where you could only say the popular opinion or every account in the thread was coming after you. For me at least, deleting it was the right move.

@Colonel_Mustache My nephew in law is 14, I'm 13. Also, my dads side of the family is Mexican, and CJ comes from my dads side, and CJ is fluent in both English and Spanish. And while I was in the car with him, his fiance, and my nephew in law, the 3 were just speaking Spanihs and I'm there like "Mate I don't speak Spanish anymore." and it was pretty funny though. And CJ thinks it's cool that I'm interested in Japanese culture.

@Colonel_Mustache I see. I'm currently trying to figureout Blender so I can modify bones, so sorry if I'm late to respond to anything.

That's a great way of looking at it. Hoping for the best with the Megamind series.

It's funny really, some people have been telling DreamWorks to cancel Trolls 3 because they want more Megamind, yet, this series is new Megamind content. Not to mention unfair for the existing Trolls fans. Honestly, when DreamWorks does a show based on one of their movies, they should bring more attention to it. Can't count how many know about the Trolls movies, but not show.

@blindsquarel Yeah, I wouldn't touch the that subject or politics online. Discussion around them never end well. Most of the subreddits I go to are fandom related to games, shows, etc. I agree with the echo chamber, that's what the DreamWorks subreddit became. They seem to hate DreamWorks movies more than like them. Unless it's Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, or How To Train Your Dragon related, fans of other movies usually got downvoted or disrespected.

DreamWorks, Gaming, and Apex Legends just ended up being toxic, so I left them since I never had any good conversations in either subreddit. Oh the anxiety of trying to say Trolls is my favorite DreamWorks movie with the fear of being ridiculed. Thankful other subreddits I go to are nicer. I guess your mileage may vary depending on what you look at on Reddit.

Some subs are good, like the Arrow sub or the Mario & Luigi sub. But then there’s subs like Paper Mario, where you get destroyed for saying that TTYD isn’t the best in the series or The flash, where you either make fun of Eric Wallace or just don’t bother commenting. It’s stuff like that where I decided it wasn’t worth it anymore.

@Sunsy I never thought we'd see people trying to cancel one movie because they want the other but here we are.

Also, +1 about politics. It never ends well.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko We live with our nana and aunt and our aunt has a dog but we'd like to get another one as our family pet. Plus, wiry haired ones aren't as good.

@blindsquarel The Paper Mario sub sounds like that DreamWorks one I went to. Gaming was bad because it mostly consists of "Activision bad" or "EA bad" or "Epic bad" or "Fortnite bad" posts with no gaming discussion, or people just post some 10-15 year old game they found for easy karma. Apex Legends, they just complained a lot about the game, or accuse you of cheating if you have a question about someone using cheats and want to know how to report them. Basing this on my experience.

@ComfyAko Yup! Kind of ties in to what you said in the Rogue Company article earlier. I remember seeing it on DreamWorks' official Instagram comments when the trailer was revealed. Like, the other movie existing isn't stopping DreamWorks from making the Megamind series.

Indeed, there's a good reason why I don't ever go into it. Not to mention I mostly go to sites like this one to talk about stuff that's about said subject. I'm here to talk games, movies in the movie thread, and anything in the Chit-Chat thread.

@Eagly Yes, but what if it teases the future whilst being super depressing?

@Eagly Can't really say as I've never watched it.

@Sunsy I mean it kinda affects it only in one way - company's budget isn't a rubber band and it won't stretch endlessly. But it's entirely up to a company what it does with their money. Some people are acting as if buying a cinema ticket made them a shareholder.

I just came back from the long discussion about cod and I gotta say, even in the gaming topics you gotta thread carefully.
