@NeonPizza I've seen a few of that channel videos a long while ago. Nostalgia is one heck of a drug.

I just had an idea for an Animal Crossing fashion spin-off and now I want it to be real.

Finally heading back to Breath of the Wild, and I'm gonna do the last Divine Beast this time. Hopefully I'll finish the game before Tears of the Kingdom comes out!

@reporterdavid That's good to hear. I hope you have a good one!

Happy Easter weekend all! And a happy weekend in general for those who don't celebrate.

@MarioLover92 Duly noted! Definitely gonna try to watch next week. I think it'll be a good time.

I like the general Rainbow Road designs - I agree that those courses are among the most visually appealing in the game - but most versions I've tried are difficult in some way lol. Not sure if I've tried Merry Mountain yet; was that in a newer DLC wave? As for my Wii experience...I unfortunately don't remember. I know we did try another course, but that was a LONG time ago.

I'd like to get to the Advance Wars remakes eventually, but the current games I have going, plus the looming juggernaut that is Tears of the Kingdom coming up, PLUS other games I'd rather play first...it'll be awhile lol. It's been roughly a decade since I last played Super Mario Galaxy, so the revisit is overdue. I'm not far in as I've only been playing in short spurts - busy week + weekend. I also have Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury to eventually get into as well.

Thanks, you too. My Easter weekend was pretty good. I hope you enjoy that Mario movie when you see it!

Ah yeah agreed for sure, most of the Rainbow Road courses are quite challenging. The original Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart is also ultra-hard. Particularly the original version, not the remade version from Mario Kart 7 and 8. That track is a lot narrower in SMK, plus the controls are quite different from most of the later games. Merry Mountain is from wave 3, which came out last December. That's totally fine. I bet Rainbow Road was the most memorable one for you, lol.

Yeah I think it'll be a while if I'll ever get to the Advance Wars remakes. I'm not super great at Advance Wars, either, and if I try out its online, I'll probably get destroyed! Oh that's cool, maybe we could play Super Mario 3D World together online. Unless you wanna play through it solo.

Happy Easter to anyone celebrating. Quiet Easter Day for me, played some Mortal Kombat X for the Bunny Day tower, and mom gave me a Trolls spring book, so that's cool.

Yeah, though I only had a few of the Sonic games. Sonic 2 which came with my Game Gear, Tails Adventure, Sonic Blast, and when Majeco was publishing Sega carts, Sonic Chaos and Sonic Spinball. Cool, I didn't know much about Knuckles Chaotix until later on. I also remember in the early Sonic CD manuals, they called Amy "Sally" in attempt to tie the cartoon series and games together. Early game storylines were certainly something.

I already want to get it on Blu-Ray/DVD, it was great and I want to show my mom, she has a hard time seeing in the dark, so she doesn't like theaters. I loved what they did to Peach in this movie. Makes me glad with my shirt of choice. It's a nice series, once you get past the silliness like the opening scenes in the movie, or Cloud Guy, there's a lot of heart in the Trolls movies.

Yeah. Surprisingly, I don't think I saw Goof Troop much as a kid, though I did see the Goofy movie years ago and liked it.

Thanks, I had a pretty good Easter. Sounds like you've had a good day, that Trolls spring book sounds nice. That's cool you had those games. Oh, I remember that about Sonic CD, the US manual did indeed refer to Amy as Sally. The other regions just called her Amy upon doing a little research.

I'd love to get the Mario movie on blu-ray, too. I did hear it's up for preorders now, but I don't know if there's a concrete release date. I might even see it again in theaters, too. Ah gotcha, that's understandable. Me too, and can't blame you with what you chose to wear, too. I still remember what I wore, it was my Super Mario Odyssey t-shirt that I got from Nintendo when there was the Mario 35th anniversary. I wore my Club Nintendo Mario hat, too! I still have yet to see the Sonic movies, though. I should at some point. I'm more of a Mario guy myself, but I do still like Sonic, as well.

Gotcha, I'll definitely take your word for it on the Trolls movies. I might give them a shot at some point. Yeah I liked A Goofy Movie as a kid, too. That's something I'd like to revisit on Disney+ one of these days... it's been so many years since I've seen it!

@Colonel_Mustache Imagine an Animal Crossing game but, you live in an apartment (to keep the furniture and house design stuff) and have to pay "rent". Villagers can live in the apartment and will move in and out depending on your friendship level with them, then the meat and potatoes of the game, Gracie's Fashion Mall (the name is still a work in progress) and have to work your way up the "food chain" to become the greatest fashion designer ever. You can freely create all kinds of fashion... I am not a fashion expert so I'll just say you can make shirts with shoulder pads like in the 80s, in order for you to succeed you will need to keep an eye on the trends and what's always popular (like t-shirts). This will also be the first Animal Crossing game where Villagers can wear pants and shoes, wands will be in the game but will be more of a side-quest item, also Tom Nook is your Landlord and Isabelle is a high-profile fashion critic (because why not), Timmy & Tommy own a furniture store and if you help them reach their goals they'll upgrade their shop. The Able Sister will have a pretty decent-sized role in this game since Label is Gracie's secretary and trying to support her own fashion brand at the same time, the other two sisters will visit Label and get inspired to open their own shop where Label's brand can be found there. Buckets will be a hat option and can be fully customizable, Buckets will also have a contest (I will talk about those in a second) where the best bucket wins. Contests will be events that happen periodically and themed events will also take place as contests as well (like Mario, Zelda, etc.), in contests you can win plaques and trophies to display at home, they will also help your score depending on if you got in the Top 3, events will not affect your score and will just be for fun. K.K Slider and DJ KK will perform at a "club cafe" owned by Brewster called The Roost: 2 Electric Boogaloo (idk), you can get a job at The Roost where you will serve coffee to Villagers and special guests. Once you make it to the top at Gracie's you will be given the "Super Ultra Fashion Maker Award++" and you will become an executive, Label will also become an executive because Gracie sees the ambition in Label and it reminds her of when she was young.

Nintendo hire me.

@Colonel_Mustache I actually played Mario Kart 7 for a little bit last year after playing 8 Deluxe for so long. The kart physics feel a little... different in comparison. If I had to describe it, it feels like I keep sliding for a bit after drifting. It could be my kart build, I guess.

@Colonel_Mustache Not really. It's just the kart physics that got me. I guess I'm so used to how MK8 controls since I've been playing it for years now!

I bit the bullet and deleted my Reddit account. I’m still gonna use the site, but it will be a big stress relief not having to worry about getting into arguments about stupid things like politics.

I know I shouldn’t worry about peoples opinions on Reddit to much but point still stands.

@blindsquarel I haven't used a reddit account, but getting into serious arguments with people on the internet isn't my thing as well. Leaving the anxiety and worry that these kind of situations cause aside ( for me at least), i also feel it's rather unproductive.

yeah, for topics like that, it’s not really worth arguing online about.
