Edit: Holy crap, the image was way larger than what I expected.

I found out that my favorite Mahjong and Tangram DSiWares were also released as part of a retail DS game.

So of course I went and bought it... So I can play the same games again....

Hm.

In my defense, there's subtle differences, and that's interesting to me.

@Eel Both Brain Age games were available on DSi Ware and as a physical cartridge. The DSi Ware ones were more like paid Demos from what I know of them but still neat.

My jaw just dropped, that doesn't happen often.

@Owl1 I would actually love to see this. Too bad it was a gag, though.

Imagine if Ratatouille got the live-action treatment. I don't know if that would be a good or bad thing...

@Owl1 oh I think they were actually substantial enough, with a few exclusive features. You can say all three together form a full release, but I liked how you could just pick whichever had the activities that appealed the most to you.

I actually got the “arts and letters” one before the eShop closed, and have been playing it daily since then. So it’s fresh in my mind.

@Eel They also did the same for Art Academy as well, but that was way more lesson based than Brain Age.

I own Brain Age 1 & 2 physically for DS... My copy of Brain Age 2 is brand new and I got it for $5 CAD with free shipping off eBay, a good deal for what would normally be a shovelware title.
