@Sunsy Thanks for asking us about the 3DS and Wii U eShops. I pretty much got everything that I wanted before they went to oblivion. I got things like the rest of the DLC for New Super Mario Bros. 2, Advance Wars 2, Pocket Card Jockey, Zack & Wiki, and even the Phoenix Wright trilogy. The last two games I mentioned were part of Capcom's sale, and they were only $3. Not a bad deal! That's awesome you're looking forward to the next Trolls movie, and be sure tell your friend I wish them a happy belated birthday.
That's cool. Mario Party 4 is a good game for sure, and I like the minigames that it has. I even like its music, especially the theme for Toad's Midway Madness. (I like the board itself, too... it's an amusement park!) I kinda want to play it again, lol. As for Star Fox Zero, ah, there's another Arwing, huh? I recall there was the regular one, and the SNES one. I've been playing my Wii U as well, I keep coming back to Advance Wars 2. Even though it is quite tough... a lot of strategy games are!
Yeah, it is a nice keychain for sure. I should get a picture of it sometime. That Phineas and Perry poster does sound like a cool bonus. That scenario you mentioned reminds me, my mom picked up Sonic Generations for me while I was in school years ago, and left the game in my room. That was cool of her.
That's cool. Kinda wish I tried out Sonic Rush Adventure's online mode back in the day, but oh well. I did at least play Mario Kart DS online for a good bit. I don't think I've ever seen any of the James Bond movies, but I do know that he's got his own greeting. "The name's Bond... James Bond."
Thanks! Alice in Wonderland is indeed a fun trip, and I'm glad I got to see it. Oooh, I don't remember Adventures in Wonderland. I guess it was on Disney Channel way back in the day? When I was a child, I would see reruns of DuckTales and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers on Disney Channel. I remember watching Goof Troop as well, that was after I've seen A Goofy Movie. That's another movie I should give a rewatch... I used to watch that quite a lot when I was young. That Alice post is really nice for sure.
You're very welcome. I can show you some pictures of my Animal Crossing house if you'd like.
Sounds like some good pick ups to me. I also got a game after the shutdown, actually claimed one of the codes for Captain U. Which is nice as I've played some of the other games that indie developer made too. Definitely, I've been waiting a trailer or something to the new Trolls movie too. I am hoping I can see this on the big screen when I see Super Mario next week (friend already has the tickets and going on my birthday next Friday). Will do.
Indeed, it's just too bad I lost my copy a long time ago. Yeah, IIRC I think scanning the Fox amiibo gives you the SNES Arwing, and the Falco one gave you a different Arwing that was a bit harder to use (harder as in weaker shields IIRC). The regular one is just the one the game gives you by default. Cool, lately I've been playing Captain U and a few other indie games I have on it.
It was a really cool bonus. That sounds like the situation. It was a very good thing mom's ride home the GameStop I use to go to (it's now closed for good) she rode past it. She liked going through back roads, so she would pass a GameStop on the corner of the road she had to get onto.
I played Sonic Rush Adventure quite a bit online. It was like two player racing in the levels. Kind of like Sonic 2's two player mode. Levels from the game, one player plays as Sonic, the other Blaze. I think the only one I've seen was GoldenEye, saw it because of the game, It was on Netflix a long time ago.
Yeah, it was a Disney Channel show from the 90's. It featured a live action Alice, and Wonderland was a mix of real people, people in costumes, and puppets. It was like a show for younger kids. Oh wow, typing this, I just got reminded of another Disney Channel show with puppets, Under the Umbrella Tree. Now I'm tempted to check Disney+, lol. I was watching the Chip N Dale movie the other day, I remember those shows, even Tailspin.
@Sunsy Not a bad prize size for that Blastoise then. IMO It's one of the cooler water type Pokemon. Sounds like a fun time for you and your brother! My DQ Slime has earned more than a few questions lol.
Thanks, it's just too bad I don't have Blastoise anymore. The cool part was this was on a boardwalk by the beach, so it makes a water Pokemon more fitting.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
Yeah, for April Fools, Sega released a visual novel called The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog. Played it a bit this evening, and surprisingly, it's actually good. Not bad considering it's meant to be an April Fools thing.
@Owl1 Oh ok, very cool. Never seen Megamind though. Hopefully one day I'll see it. Usually DreamWorks stuff shows up on Peacock.
@JadeKitsune Nice pick up, got the game for my birthday years ago, great game!

There's another used-game store in my mall, hopefully I can get there tomorrow and see if they have any Pokémon DS games (main series only, no spinoffs).
You wanna know something funny? Before the eShop closed, when I formatted my previous 3 3DSes (my 4th one, which has my Pokémon Bank info, is currently in storage until I finish one of the Pokémon games) they all downloaded demos for Tomodachi Life and Kirby Planet Robobot. Also I checked the theme shop on my 3DS XL (2014) and the only themes they currently have for download are "Dots & Stripes: Yellow & White" and "Stars: Gold & Black", both are free.
EDIT: Wait no, I tried the demos and they say you need to download the softwares from the eShop, which didn't work. Meh, I already have Tomodachi Life physically.
@Tyranexx Ah that's fine, everyone likes different things after all. Yeah, Mario Kart is the one racing game that I come back to the most. It's not only because it stars Mario and all his pals and rivals, but many of the courses themselves are fun to blast through. Plus you never know what will happen next while you're racing, lol. As for the original F-Zero (and as a series as a whole), I like its incredible sense of speed and futuristic setting. That's how I feel anyway, I like going fast in games, lol. Plus it may have to do with me having played it when I was young. Most of the F-Zero games however, including the original one on the SNES, are really challenging!
Yeah perhaps, I'm sure they'll eventually add the NES games that used the Zapper to NSO, with joy-con support or something. Maybe even Super Scope games for the SNES. I've never played the Super Scope myself, even though I'm familiar with the peripheral. I'll try to remember to let you know when I return to OoT.
@Sunsy Thanks, I also got Sonic Triple Trouble since I had a few bucks left over from my eShop balance at the time. That's cool you got a download code for Captain U. Oh gosh, thanks for reminding me, the Mario movie's coming out on Wednesday! Hope you get to seeing that and the new Trolls movie soon.
Ohhh, I remember... that's a shame your copy got lost. As for the Arwings, ah yeah I think I remember that Arwing the Falco amiibo gives you, with how it's hard mode and everything. How are you liking Captain U, by the way?
Gotcha, that's cool. I've played a few Sonic games in local multiplayer, namely Sonic 2, Sonic Adventure 2, and even Sonic Mania. I think I played Sonic Heroes' multiplayer one time as well, but that was a long time ago.
Oh, so it's pretty much a live-action take on Alice in Wonderland, just as a children's show. That's cool. I don't think I've heard of Under the Umbrella Tree. How did you like that Chip 'n Dale movie? I've heard of the movie itself, just only saw Rescue Rangers years ago. More recently, I also saw one of the old Donald Duck cartoons that had Chip and Dale, as well. I remember hearing about Talespin, I think I caught an episode or two on Disney Channel years ago, but I don't remember if I did or not.
All right cool, I've played New Horizons with a friend of mine recently and I took some good screenshots. I'll be sure to share them with you.
