@EllaTheKawaiiNeko That's good, keeping friends is good. I don't really have any at the moment, or for the past couple of years. After I got ghosted by my 2 remaining friends I just kinda don't know how to make a deeper or lasting relationships. It's all superficial "hi byes", and most people won't even text me unless I text first.

How many books you actually need to read on friendship to actually snag one, I can't even tell.

@JadeKitsune Still, looks like you really thought this through.

Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes

EllaTheQueen6

@ComfyAko I mean, I thought we were friends. Also, you don't need to read books. I can tell you're not a very confident person, and neither am I, but you need to learn you're a good person, it'll help a lot.

@ComfyAko My whole family (read, siblings) don't really have many opportunities to make friends and also have really bad social skills. One of them jokes that surely the only way is to throw a Pokéball at them.

@TeaCatherine I'm an extrovert. Always have been. I just have social anxiety. Not as bad as it was though. I was even talking with Seef a few days ago and he said "You changed since I first met you. Now you seem more sociable. You really are an extrovert girl, you just needed a little push."

@Colonel_Mustache Good. Any other snacks or drinks you want? I'm so sorry little Yoko-chan put a hole in your wall, I talked to her about it and she said she accidentally clipped in your wall while trying to teleport to the store

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I like talking I just haven't had very much practice at it. That said, I can talk about games I like at great length.

@TeaCatherine I love talking. I'm just bad with stress and such, so I used to freeze up during conversations. The first voice chat I had with Seef was akward, that's for sure. It was a voice chat with 3 people, me, Seef, and Ash. Ash was the one trying to get us to talk because we were both anxious. Also, do I talk about Seef to much?

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Nah, it's fine, I mean I talk about some things far too much, did you see when me and Eagly pretty much turned this thread into the Xenoblade series thread and I also talk about my family a lot. Talking of them, my nana had one of the most embarrassing speakos ever the other day.

@TeaCatherine What did your grandma accidentally say?

@TeaCatherine Ok, I think I would go jump off a cliff if I accidentally said that. No, I don't think, I absolutely would go jump off a cliff.

@Sunsy I don't recall offhand if Sonic Dash needed an online check-in either since I often played it at home. Being online makes sense for ads, to an extent, though I wonder why the app just can't cache a certain set of them for when it's next offline or something....Meh. Either way, I don't feel mobile gaming is too useful outside of certain situations. At least not when it comes to "free" games with ads lol.

I wonder too, it seems to always have to connect to some server just to get the ads. Agreed, was playing Sonic 1 and Crazy Taxi earlier while I was waiting in a doctor's office for a check-up.

@Sunsy If you get it, have fun with it and do let me know. I'd love to play online with you. Ah yeah me too, the Splatoon series is definitely the most unique one I've played if we're taking all the shooters I've played in account. Speaking of shooters, I should get back to Doom and Halo at some point... I have finished the first Doom, at least. No, I didn't beat it on a digital camera or a calculator, just on my PC. lol

Absolutely. It was in a generation where all the developers just started to make 3D games, and in that regard, I think Nintendo nailed it. It's always been held in high regard, after all. You bring up a great point, that's what I've always loved about Super Mario 64, as well. Perhaps all the paintings in Peach's castle are magical, with how they take you to another world! Wonder what kind of paints were used to make them work like that.

That's cool, I mostly play in my game room since that's where I have my Switch hooked up. I sometimes play on my bed before I sleep, whether it's my 3DS or my Switch in handheld mode.

Thanks! It'll be a nice nostalgia trip for me, since I used to watch Pinocchio a lot when I was a child. My mom's birthday will be coming on April, and she wants to see The Aristocats that day. She loves seeing those kittens in that movie, and I can't blame her, they're adorable for sure.

Will do if I ever get it. Sounds like a good idea to me. I've played Halo via Master Chief Collection on PC, and I have the disc to the PC original. Was this Doom 2016, or the classic one?

Yeah, though I was more or less thinking of the layout to the inside of the castle, lol. Like you have rooms that don't make sense given the castle shape. Then you had the places that didn't use paintings too. Shifting Sand Land, or Dire Dire Docks, or Hazy Maze Cave. Replaying this is making me appreciate all the little details.

Sounds nice. I do often like playing while on my bed, before bed, sometimes it might be a classic PC game on my laptop (lately, been playing Star Wars Dark Forces, was in the mood to play it recently), since I usually have something on my TV before bed.

Sounds like a plan, I saw Aristocats awhile back. Been awhile since seeing it too. For some reason, Marie always stood out due to Disney using her the most on merch IIRC.

I'm all ready to race on the next batch of Mario Kart courses... just gotta wait until next week! A couple of my favorite courses made it in, too!

@Tyranexx Ah yeah, absolutely... those games can be frustrating for sure. Plus, back in the NES era, some games didn't even have a save feature of some sort. So you'd have to go back to square one every time you'd boot up the game. As much as I love the NES Mario games, I wish that they would've at least gave a save feature to Super Mario Bros. 3. Which is one reason why I prefer the All-Stars versions over the NES originals.

And speaking of Mega Man, yeah those games can get real rough at points. Even to the point where you're back to the beginning of the level if you don't make enough progress upon losing a life. That's a real pet peeve of mine when it comes to the Mega Man games. Not only that, but I don't like how you're asked to do all the Dr. Wily fortress levels in one sitting, after defeating all the robot masters. It's worse in Mega Man 4, 5, and 6, where you have two fortresses to deal with in each game. And you'd have to do them both all over again if you decide to shut the game off midway. Just... why would you do this, Capcom? At least it's not too bad in the Legacy Collection versions, since there's save states you could use.

Yeah that's perfectly fine, and I agree, it's best to be in the right mood when you're about to play a particular game. Best of luck on Dragon Quest VII, as well.

@Sunsy It was the classic Doom, the first one from 1993. That's the one I beat. I didn't make too much progress in Doom 2016 as of now, since the game got hard for me very early on.

Ah OK, gotcha. I guess I don't think about the layout of inside the castle too much, I just play the game and have fun with it, lol. Princess Peach's castle in Super Mario 64 is one of my favorite hub worlds from the Mario series, honestly. Always loved exploring in it when I was a child, and it was exciting to unlock more of what the castle offers, too.

That's cool. These days I mostly play games in my game room, since I always like playing on the couch with my HDTV. It's one of the most comfortable ways to play games to me. I have my laptop in the game room, too.

Yeah, I'd think Marie is the most popular character in that movie, I remember seeing an ornament of her on Disney's online store. I might get that next time I shop there, last time I got the Mickey Mouse gingerbread train ornament set, as you may remember.

@MarioLover92 If you like Doom, consider trying Doom II. The second Doom game is just more Doom, except with a double barrel shotgun and a couple of new monsters.

I still remember my mind as a kid, I thought I could jump up the courtyard wall and get to the front of the castle. Never happened, but it didn't stop me from trying. So much mystery was in it, for example, the opening behind the waterfall made me wonder if I could get back into the Hazy Maze Cave that way. The mysteries that Peach's castle had kept it interesting.

Nice, I usually like to prop up my pillow, though, I also have an ottoman at the foot of my bed to sit on too when gaming.

Yeah I remember. Marie was on a lot of stuff from what I could remember. Mugs, toys, shirts, always saw them at Disney Store when I use to go. Unfortunately, there's no longer a Disney Store where I live. Last time I was at one, I bought a Vanellope Von Schweetz plushie from the movie Wreck-It Ralph. I even have a shirt with her on it.
