@TeaCatherine You can play Snake Eater now, if you wish.
Truly I am mankind's natural foe! Evil Incarnate! A walking cataclysm! A shapeless insanity! GUNDHAM TANAKA!

@Eagly Eh, I just feel like it's one of those dude-bro games, y'know? Plus, like, I don't really play a lot of western games, I prefer JRPGs and stuff.
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid
Back burner: Hollow Knight, Undertale
@Kermit1 I won't advertise it for you, but to me, it will always be one of those magical games that never age. I used to just make massive shootouts on cheats, but then it slowly turned to just cruising around the city, be it Liberty City from GTA3 or Vice City from... Vice City. Just driving and listening to absolutely beautiful soundtrack made from the best songs of 80s and 90s. I just moved in the game and appreciated the world. The huge buildings, the rays of sun, the atmosphere. A night stroll on the Ocean View street in GTAVC is a magical experience to this day.
@Anti-Matter Well, I actually really like games for kids. It's just that violence and gore was never an issue to me in a video game, I mean it's just a bunch of moving pixels. That's why to me, all is appropriate. What I don't like is games that are trying to be so "grownup" and "mature" that they become generic and flavourless.
@Eagly I don't really think I have the power to upset people.
@TeaCatherine@Eagly Oh ok noted. Luckily I didn't say anything that would trigger, but thank you for the warning nonetheless.
Yeah, Star Wars falls under the same category. Too big to actually surprise you. Except when you tell someone it's "no, I am your father!" instead of "Luke", Mandela Effect is fascinating.

@ComfyAko Yeah, talking of GTA, you weren't around to hear something annoying that happened to me in December last year, were you? Also, gotta admit the one thing about that series that does appeal to me is the music. @Eagly There are a couple of western games I want to try but way more Japanese ones.
@TeaCatherine Music of GTA is something I could talk about for months. Sadly, the beautiful times ended with San Andreas, and everything later down the line. GTA 3/VC/LCS/VCS are more than enough to me, though. I haven't heard anything, I'm actually a bit fresh here.
Thank you for having me, all!
@Eagly Yeah, that too. My favorite Mandela Effect instance is Pikachu's tail, everyone remembers it the same way, and everyone remembers it wrong in exactly the same way

@ComfyAko So, basically, there was this day when I was Christmas present buying, I went to Game, they seemed to have a good deal judging by the price sticker, took it to the till and they tried to put it through as full price, tried to buy something else from a different Game store, when I got to the till with the case, turs out they had had lost the game card and finally I tried buying my brother a present found out the next day when trying to steal his gold points that CEX had accidently given me a GTA trilogy cartridge instead of what it should have been. @ChaoticMagolor What's so scary about bald Nia?

@Kermit1 oh ok noted again. Also, you're completely right about minecraft. It's a really great formula, I have to admit. Even though I really knew that it's completely randomized, I still wanted to know what is behind the horizon. Not to mention actually learning all the recipies. I know the one for door, perfect for my little dirt houses I make whenever I start. C418 Sweden, though.
@ChaoticMagolor Oh it's nothing I just really like adorable things. I can change it if it's not ok tho
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@ComfyAko No, it looks really adorable. I was just making a poorly executed joke about furries, and almost took it down before anyone else saw it lol. You don’t have to change it.

@ChaoticMagolor oh, ok. No worries that was probably me being slow with jokes at this hour. If it scares you more than bald Nia though, I guess wishing you a good night sleep would seem cruel ( ̄ω ̄
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@ComfyAko I returned it, granted I wasn't trying to get my brother anything that good, it was just Immortals Fenyx Rising 'cause it was cheap and he seemed to have a small amount of interest in it. Also, I didn't order it, I just bought it at a second-hand game shop.
G'night, also your pfp is really cute.

@Sunsy I like to draw but my incompetence with the tablet pen/pencil/anything else that can draw scares me.
I don't really read fan fictions either, but with fandom, you're bound to know a name or two, since so many people talk about it. I want to watch Is The Order a Rabbit, but I stick to watch on sites or bought dvd's, so my only option is when it comes to Crunchyroll. Laid Back Camp is my favorite anime of all time, I think. There are some "healing" anime out there, some slow paced ones, but this one is so cozy, and with such a great storyline, it's perfect. Rin is a loner, and nobody tries to think of that as of a fault, they just invite her to hang out sometimes and know her boundries, that's so refreshing.
In terms of western animation, I watch family friendly ones, too. The simpsons might be an exception, although that show is very mild, too. I liked My Little Pony until the fandom scared me, but I see there is something new in the franchise so I might take a look. I still need to give Sonic Prime a good watch, too.
Hilda is one of the best animated series I have ever watched. The music, the storyline, the characters, even this scandinavian feeling, it's all a bliss.
I have just scrolled through Netflix to see what I forgot, and reminded myself that Glitch Tech and Carmen Sandiego still exist
I actually draw traditionally with pencil, paper, and markers. Just always been a traditional artist.
Alrighty, hope you get to see Is The Order A Rabbit one day. I originally saw it on Crunchyroll, but I think it may have been removed, the DVD is sold directly from Sentai Filmworks, which goes on sale for cheap quite often. I agree, Laid Back Camp gave me such a cozy feeling. I remember watching it on a cold winter night in a dark room with Christmas lights on. Such a nice time.
I still need to see Sonic Prime. Sucks when toxic fans can ruin something, that was my experience with Miraculous. Yeah, it's My Little Pony: A New Genearation, as someone who liked Friendship Is Magic, I really like the new series, even if others who like Friendship Is Magic didn't. Also have to say, the video game based off it ended up being a decent tie-in game.
Ah Hilda, one of the best shows I've watched. That reminds me, I need to finish watching Glitch Techs.
@Sunsy Yeah don’t get me wrong I talk a lot about non Nintendo stuff here but at the end of the day I love this companies products and I want to talk about them without creating a mini firestorm. It just sucks if you love something but have chosen not to actively discuss it because others have ruined it for you. But if you do people will either be jerks to you or you just might get labeled as toxic for being associated with the fandom. And it does happen here too I remember one time getting yelled at for and I stand by this saying it’s hard to readjust to the switch after playing on a Ps5 for too long
I would say it’s less about not liking something and more about trying to put your thing higher than something else. I’ll use an somewhat hypocritical example for myself pokemon. I quite regularly uplift xenoblade by punching down on Pokémon. I always try to be polite to people who enjoy pokemon but at the end of the day all I am doing is pointing out pokemons flaws to make my favorite franchise look better. I use Pokémon to set the bar low and then present xenoblade in its best light. Everyone does however I would say it’s more about how you do it. I insult the product not the people who play it unlike others who just go after the fanbases
To unintentionally continue using Metal gear as a point at the time of writing this unless I have severely messed up the time playstations state of play showcase is happening soon. MG fans are buying into rumors we are getting a remake or remaster of the series. As much as I would love one I ain’t going to get my hopes up because some journalists said konami would be smart to release metal gear ports. It would have been smart for them to do this for the last 7 years I’m not holding my breath. Now I will hope it happens but hope means very little and at least trolls clickbait is funny
Since redownloads also rely on Nintendo maintaining servers they will eventually be shut down. I would hazard a guess it won’t be for the foreseeable future though to not risk angry fans burning down Nintendo HQ. I will get to one of the best FPS’s of all time it is just a matter of when I have free time which is in unfortunately short supply
There is a block feature use it never waste your time on a internet troll because it isn’t worth it you can’t beat one they feed off of you thinking beating them is possible
The movie is incredible Probably in my top ten movies period and the DvD comes out next Tuesday I know that for a fact because I pre ordered it. PIB 2 is so good and the only animated movie that has a chance of rivaling it this year for me is spiderverse. I literally cannot sing this movies praises enough it was as close to perfect as it could have been
Yikes it sucks when that happened. At one point it even made me afraid to talk about certain games and series I liked at the old forum I went to as people just made fun of it. I still get the feeling from time to time, at least here I feel like I can be myself.
Yes, that's what I notice too, kind of like that one guy getting mad at someone for having Trolls 3 as their most anticipated movie, and not Spiderverse. I think we all would like what we like to be respected and loved, hard part are those who hate it, which will always belittle it regardless. Best I can do is continue saying why I think something is good, while being respectful about it. Being polite is the right thing to do in said situation, even if it can be hard for some.
That's how I feel about the servers. There's a good reason why my Wii and DSi downloads backed up to multiple SD cards. This way when the servers finally do shut down, I could copy my downloads back to those systems. Same with Wii U, I have all my games downloaded to my hard drive, with backups on USB sticks. This way I can copy them back to the system memory or HDD (running games off USB sticks is not recommended AFAIK). Enjoy it when you get around to grabbing it.
So far, I only needed to use the ignore/block feature twice here thankfully. Probably the most chill community I've been to. Comments section on the other hand, let's just say I rarely go to the comments.
Enjoy it when it comes. Any pre-order bonuses with the Puss In Boots 2 DVD? I remember getting a behind the scenes art booklet with my copy of Trolls World Tour as a pre-order bonus. Good stuff.
@Sunsy Ah gotcha, that's understandable. That's me with Splatoon 3, lol! Been playing a ton of Turf War matches myself, though I should get some more Salmon Run sessions in as well.
Agreed for sure. I should head back to SMA4, I made a lot of good progress on the Wii U VC last I knew, and the later levels do indeed get really challenging. They're not messing around with those levels, lol.
Oh that's cool, that sounds like a nice birthday present. My Wii U games looked great on our first HDTV, too. The HDTV that I use nowadays was acquired in 2018, and it's in my game room. It's where I have my Switch and Wii U hooked up. My current HDTV's been serving me well after all those years.
Nice, glad I could help with looking up that level. Yeah I tend to be curious when I see anything that looks suspicious in levels.
Ah I see... maybe it has to do with how the Game Boy used link cables, or something like that? One of us could write each other on Discord if you're interested in playing online with me. Just a fair warning though, I am pretty good at Tetris. Ah yeah I did hear that about Splatoon 3 as well. Sometimes I'd get disconnected, but most of the time I can get matches in. My connection was kind of failing me one time, so I did power cycle my router and then it was smooth sailing from there. I have a tendency to do just that anytime my connection screws up.
Yeah, just been enjoying the new season of Apex, especially since there were rewards for four years. Cool, I don't know when I'll get Splatoon 3, but I had a great time with both the Wii U and the second game. I think I did Salmon Run once.
I should try to get back into playing them more, last night I played Super Mario 64, watching some of the "Super Mario 64 is personalized" stuff made me want to play the game. Played it on Wii U, had more unlocked on it.
Yeah, thing was my old TV was still functional too, but it was nice, and I got it in time for Mario & Sonic at the 2016 Olympic Games. Sounds like a nice set up, good to know it's lasting you for a decent amount of time. Had to replace the living room TV late last year, screen showed everything with a blue tint. Did play Sonic Frontiers on it Christmas day, I like moving my systems to the living room during the holidays.
Yeah, now I know it's just cloud blocks, though it I thought there were less cloud blocks on the SNES version. I kept trying to destroy the bricks wondering if there was a secret up there, lol.
Maybe, it could be the netcode too. That's fine, I'm more curious to see if the lag would happen with someone else more than actually focus on playing, this way I know for next time. Had to do that earlier in the week. Apex on PC (I play on both PC and Switch) had some connection issues mid-game, so unplugging and plugging in did the trick.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
