Pretty much. I agree with that. It's infighting like that is why I feel people won't ever take animation seriously. It's sad too since animation can be great, often times it feels like some fans revert to the mindset of "my cartoon is great, your's sucks" and just start something or make some point. Saddens me to be honest.
@ComfyAko Definitely, I left in late 2020, and haven't been to the site much since aside from checking an occasional update from an official account (had to do it the other day for Apex Legends). Honestly, seeing how cartoon Twitter treats Trolls fans, I'm even more thankful I left. Last thing I need is to be bullied over liking something.
Safe to say, leaving Twitter was really good for my mental health.

I think some minor changes and nods to Alvis subtly confirm it, but not outright. I've always wondered about Mio and Nia's connection, not sure I've seen any confirmation there either though. That's an interesting prequel hypothesis. I'd like to see what happened at the beginning of the frozen world....It is hinted at that perhaps Tora helped construct Origin, for one. And the world's combining definitely gave more context to the beginning moments of the game (I thought for awhile that this was just a dream sequence Noah had. Chosen one stuff and all that.)
@Sunsy IIRC the mobile version of Pokemon Shuffle is harder due to differences in events, catch rates, higher in-game coin prices in mobile, etc. I don't know too much about this, but there are threads out on Reddit and the like that cover the topic. Outside of buying a complete game on mobile that isn't easily obtained elsewhere - I'm highly considering buying Dragon Quest VI that way for example - I swore I'd never fall to micro transactions. Sure, they start out small, but they can easily add up if one isn't careful.
@Sunsy Toxic fans just ruin franchise take R&M the show is amazing it’s the fanbase that is absolute garbage. However that fanbase indirectly harms your enjoyment of the show because it’s less fun to talk about . Same applies to anything with an awful fanbase. And since I mentioned R&M I feel as though I should say the co creator has been fired and as it turns out he is a total hack who hasn’t actually written for the show in the last half decade.
The worst possible image you can present for any franchise is a fanbase that is infighting over some stupid reason. Wether it be ships, head cannons or which season was best or whatever it just makes everyone look dumb and childish. You can’t expect to be taken seriously when you don’t let someone like trolls. And it comes from a lack of confidence if you are so concerned about other peoples opinions on something you enjoy that you attack something other enjoy just to make your show look better it shows you are self conscious and unsure about your own opinions. Just let people enjoy things even if you think they are trash
Indeed, and it can make it difficult to meet people who share the same interests too. That's one of the best things about online communities meeting others with similar interests. It's why we're all here on a Nintendo forum right now.
I agree with all of that. The sad part is it does lead to bullying, but it also shows how insecure some people are that they belittle fans for liking a show or thing they don't like.
I agree I try not to speculate about release dates/rumors I’ve found that it only leads to disappointment when your wrong. As fun as lore based speculation is for me I’ve found it more tedious and just plain awful when doing it for rumors. Like you just get caught in a hype cycle over a lie a bored 13 year old told and get inevitably disappointed. Like yesterday’s big metal gear announcement being art woek (at least it wasn’t NFT’s)
I am definitely going to get metroid prime one now. It has actually given me a bit of hope that Nintendo may actually preserve these 3DS games in some form because we will be loosing 10 years of art because of a corporate decision
To bring up ant man which I just watched in theater. A very unexpected character showed up in the movie who my mom hates and it was hilarious listening to her complian about them the whole way home. It was something you couldn’t get out of streaming because the car being the first place your allowed to take for hours initiated the conversation
That’s the best philosophy don’t give outrage trolls the time of day. You attacking them even with logic dosen’t work because they don’t attack you because of a breach in logic they attack purely for attention and to make you emotional so just block and move on or in the case of YouTube put on a different video and if they keep popping up block the channel
Without exaggeration pib 2 is the best looking animated movie I’ve seen since quarantine ended. It is also probably my favorite movie period since quarantine ended. It was just that tailored to everything I wanted
Yeah, that's why I prefer official announcements and confirmation. Back to Trolls, people keep spreading new movie names (given Trolls 2 eventually became Trolls World Tour), and I'm seeing rumors pop up from time to time between some fans. That's why I only stick to the Trolls 3 name and the November date as those were officially confirmed by DreamWorks. Will admit, the Trolls 3 YouTube clickbait has been fun to see, lol, Poppy and Branch in wedding outfits.
Enjoy it when you do, I'm liking Prime Trilogy so far. Prefer the controls to this one over GameCube controls. That's the sad part about this. I'm glad at least games will still be re-downloadable if you bought it, but the question is for how long? I was shocked the DSi Shop was still online to re-download previously downloaded games. O.o I thought they discontinued that feature. Given that's still online, I have some hope for re-downloading on Wii U and 3DS. Will still backup downloads just in case.

Indeed, will admit, I had to re-read "outrage trolls" as Trolls is part of my vocabulary, and you mean Internet ones, lol. I agree with all of that, this is why even if it is annoying, I try my best not to respond to such people. Can be hard, but it's possible.
Glad you love Puss In Boots so much. Still remembering the day I saw it. Seeing Poppy in the DreamWorks logo, enjoying the quest Puss, Kitty, and Perrito went on, Perrito being best dog, even the nachos I had, yes, I got some nachos for the movie because AMC popcorn is always stale, lol. Even wore one of my favorite Poppy shirts because it's the only DreamWorks related clothing I have.
Puss In Boots DVD/Blu-Ray is due out next week, which hopefully means it will pop up on Peacock soon, if other previous DreamWorks movies appearing are anything to go by. When it comes to Peacock, I'm looking forward to watching it again.
@Tyranexx Interesting, I didn't know this. Yeah, the few mobile games I paid for are mostly one-time stuff. For example, paying to remove ads from Sega classics. Pay once, ads get removed, and I can play offline when I'm not near my Wi-Fi, which is nice. I use to carry a GBA with the Sonic 1 port, as well as my DS with the Sonic Classic Collection and 3DS with the 3D Sonic classics... it feels good having Sonic 1 on my phone so I don't need to carry two devices on me.
Yeah, I sometimes buy something from F2P games I like, like Apex Legends for example, but usually it's very very rare. I usually avoid paying for one-time use items, those are a waste IMO. I tend to like a nice cosmetic item for my character, and I'm happy with just that.

I have never watched Puss in Boots by DreamWorks but from the gameplay I watched from YouTube, it looks decent enough for action adventure game.
@Anti-Matter Enjoy the game when you play it. The Puss In Boots movies are great, they're a spin-off from the Shrek series of movies. Saw the second movie recently in theaters, it was a really good movie.

@Colonel_Mustache It sounds like a jet engine just idling in the home menu. In games, it sounds worse. I haven't played in close to 2 months now, I still don't know the ending to Xenoblade 3 yet lol.
