(review by, Aurianna Komorowski)
First of all.
I really liked the game up until the end. Finished the Campaign and most other stuff ( 97% completion of my challenges ).
The soundtrack and feeling you get is very nice, the artwork is amazing.
I have stuttering issues but it was playable. (might be my pc tbh... i7-6700k isnt what it used to be )
The thing that actually made me sad is the feeling that none of my decisions mattered.
Whatever I said, whenever I pushed for the "Dark Side".... In the end... I´m the hero.
Neither the ending nor anything else apart from maybe learning the 3 unforgiveables feels like its up to your choice.
Beeing rude to NPCs / extorting them / betraying quest givers.
Nothing happens... apart from maybe a different voiceline, but then everything is back to normal.
I literally chose to take the powers.
I used all unforgivable curses.
Nobody cared. I was the hero... YAAAAAAY....
Replay value probably 0 unless you want to see a different common room / play in different house colours and maybe have 5 different side quests...
Apart from that.
Character feels overpowered very very easily if you put the talent points in the right talents combined with the right gear enchantments.
Which is very hard to avoid considering how many points you get vs how many points are even possible to spend in total...
@Kermit1 NGL. That review just sounded like someone who’s as mad because they couldn’t be a bad guy in a Harry Potter game, unless it was advertised that you were able to change sides. And wasn’t there’s a difficulty option, if the game was that easy they should have turned it up.
But that’s fair, I understand that they would want more choices, and want there bad decisions to have weight. Tho I’m not nearly far enough a head to really comment on those issues.
@Snatcher Yeah, don't be afraid to give it a call too. The effort they put into setting up the message on the call is worth the minute long call. Really amazing they did this!
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
