@Eagly Nah, I don't care about sport one iota, plus the superbowl isn't as big over here as it is in the US.
By the way, I clicked on your profile before, what's your banner?

@Eagly I thought it was but because how zoomed in it was I thought I'd best double check. I believe that in the Japanese script he's got the same name as the Vandhams which I find hilarious 'cause most of them are important and he's just a minor comic relief character.

@Sunsy Hah, glad you're enjoying your time with MPT! It didn't take me long to pick up the controls at all back when I played through the trilogy despite not having a lot of experience with titles with FPS gameplay....Though I'd argue the Prime games aren't truly within that genre considering the other mechanics they employ.
Honestly, for old phone games, those don't sound bad at all. Tetris needs to be experienced by all people. That game is amazing lol. I really enjoyed the Windows Phone I had; it was my first smartphone and lasted me about five years. Unfortunately, I had to eventually switch since 1. the lack of app and software support was starting to kill me, and 2. Microsoft was more or less abandoning the Windows Phones around then anyway. I had a Nokia Lumia Icon from Verizon. It had an amazing camera for the time. I took some pretty neat pictures on it.
Yeah, I really prefer these controls over the original GameCube. FPS controls are typically using the left stick to move forward, back, side to side, and the right joystick to aim, or on PC, you use WSAD to move, and mouse to aim and shoot. On Wii, it's the joystick to move, and the Wii remote pointer to aim and shoot. In this respect, Metroid Prime Trilogy plays closer to something I'd control on PC.
Definitely! My mom had the newer mobile version of Tetris on her iPad sometime after she got it. Cool, never knew anyone having a Windows phone before. It was always either iPhone, Android, or flip phone. That is understandable, I could imagine Windows Store not having many apps. I hardly use the store, even on PC. I remember using it to grab Netflix, Spotify, the two games I had from there, but I end up preferring Steam versions. PSO2's install from Windows Store is a nightmare compared to Steam's install, Windows Store tends to install to hidden folders that are hard to delete if you need to re-install.
@Sunsy I am so sorry about the huge delay in response time I’ve just been busy snd to be honest your posts are long and I want to respond to them with the thought they deserve
Don’t worry while I have my problems with licensed games at the end of the day all that really matters is that you ended up enjoying them. So if a trolls game ends up coming to console I hope it makes you happy and it was made with the same level of love as the movies were. Because to put it simply with the amount of effort that was put into its scrapbook ascetic trolls isn’t a cash grab. It may not appeal to people but cashgrabs are inherently low effort. That word cannot be used to describe trolls
I have to pick up my 3Ds again too many amazing games are just getting tossed into the garbage because of corporate prode. I hope they get remakes because they don’t deserve to die on a system like the 3ds. These games are too ambitious t be on a handheld that can barley run games at 240p
Again movie theaters are beyond awesome going in and the anticipation of sitting in the car waiting for the movie. And then the return trip which is arguably even more fun everyone sitting in the car either singing the movies prosises or collectively bashing it either way it’s cathartic to talk after being silenced for the last 2 hours. It’s an incredible experience
If you dislike a video it’s best to just click out not engaging with something is the best way to make the vidoes disappear. All engagement good or bad is engagment and it’s all that matters. Take the internets new favorite punching bag velma. To quickly go over it it’s bad everyone hates it. The show unites fans of Scooby doo, adult animation, liberals conservatives and everyone else in seething hatred of it. But out of curiosity people are watching it and because it’s being watched season 2 is alp but confirmed so yeah all that matters is publicity. All publicity is good publicity
To reiterate what I said earlier trolls 2 isn’t low effort or a cash grab. You don’t put tjat much TLC into a movie you fundamentally don’t care about. For an example a true cash grab I’ll use the GTA trilogy as an example. It’s has no love or joy put into it. The games which should be amazing by virtue of being ports of great games can’t run without crashing the ports so lazy they fail to run. While it’s an extreme example I think it shows what a product without love is. On the opposite side like it or not. Wether you do or don’t believe you are too adult for trolls it is not a cash grab. People put too much creative input into it for trolls to be considered one. You can not like it but trolls was made by people who wanted to make a good movie end of story. And I am really happy the show is good. I think 2d was the right choice for trolls
@TeaCatherine I would be totally down for something like that. I know this may seem a bit contradictory but while I don’t care about pure romance media in general I do enjoy romance in shows/movies/games. The way I see it is I need to care about the characters first and then I will care about their relationships and in xenoblades case I very much do care about xenoblade characters enough to watch a romance anime where the only combat is Eunie unlocking a chair wielder class if one of her friends is bullied. As long as I’ve been hooked to these characters as people first and relationships second I am good to go. And especially in xenoblades case I just want to see these characters happy
It's alright.
I hope so too, third movie coming out it would be cool to see Outright Games make something given they've made the last few DreamWorks based games (Dragons and Spirit). I'll wait and see rather than speculate and start a rumor some YouTube channel may treat as fact, lol (we already have people clickbaiting Trolls 3 on YouTube, lol).
Yeah, I did just buy Metroid Prime Trilogy thanks to the shut down happening. I feel like the few who still checked the Wii U and 3DS eShop even after getting a Switch.
Definitely, or the time I saw Trolls World Tour and The Grinch last year, discuss it over a few slices of pizza. Good times. After Trolls, we went to a pizzeria my friend likes, and after the Grinch we went to the pizzeria I like since it was a slight detour on the way back. At least more fun than the local AMC, the trip to see the movie, the trip itself makes it more memorable than going to the local AMC.
Definitely, all publicity is good publicity. That's why I won't go on about something I don't like, and just say "I didn't like it" or "I'm not into it." That's a reason why I won't click thumbs down, YouTube's broken system sees it as engagement.
Don't worry, I get what you're saying. I'd say DreamWorks just puts a lot of effort with animation in general. Especially after seeing Puss In Boots.
@Sunsy Enjoy the Metroid Prime Trilogy. That's smart thinking on your part, honestly. I really wish the remastered version on Switch had the later two games in the series as well... I kind of blame the MPT rumors, lol. Perhaps they're working on MP2 and 3 remasters later down the road? We don't know if they are or not, Nintendo likes to keep their future games and products top secret. I really should get back to MPT at some point, lol. I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3 lately.
Nice, enjoy Link's Awakening DX as well. That's a good Zelda game for sure, I remember playing it for the first time on the 3DS. I went straight to the Game Boy Advance games last night, I got all gold trophies in Mario Kart: Super Circuit on 100cc, and played a few e-Reader levels in Super Mario Advance 4.
Oh that's one more game we know of that has widescreen. I think there's more than I originally thought, lol. Then again, we didn't have a widescreen TV during the PS2/GameCube days, just CRTs.
On that room in Super Mario Bros. 3 - is that the room that has the treasure chest? I wonder if that was the first level in world 5.
That's cool. I still have my copy of Sonic Advance 3, but it's been a long time since I played it. I don't have a second copy of it, so I'm curious to see how the co-op plays. I haven't played Sonic Battle in years, either... probably even longer than that. I do remember that it was pretty good. Yeah, you'll probably want to wait for more GBA games to show up, there's only 6 of them at launch.
I haven't tried the online for GBA games yet, but I'll let you know. I have a couple of friends on Nintendo Life who also have the expansion pack, and for the most part, the N64 games online worked pretty solid for me. Even if the game freezes for a bit, there's no input delay to speak of, so that's good at least. I'd imagine it's the same deal with GBA. That's a shame Tetris started to lag, were you playing online with someone? Yeah... their online could use more work. Mario Kart and Splatoon work great, but for Smash Bros., for example, it can be hit or miss. My last online session in Smash Ultimate did not go very well with all that freezing, and kind of discouraged me from playing it again. A lot of Smash players I've faced online are just so dang good, also. Even if the connection goes swimmingly, I keep losing to them!
Yeah, I like it so far, the controls feel better for reasons I mentioned to @Tyranexx above. I always prefer the dual joystick or keyboard/mouse set up for FPS stuff. It's helping with my enjoyment of the game too.
Yeah, I cleared the first dungeon. I played this on Game Boy Color, and my character name was Thief ZELDA. There's a little easter egg in it, if you name yourself ZELDA, it changes the music on the save select screen. Cool! Oh awesome, they did include the e-Reader stuff.
I don't think widescreen TVs were common in those days, so it's unusual for games to have widescreen in those days. I think the mid-2000's they were becoming more common.
Nah, it was in either 5-5 or 5-6 (can't remember off-hand), I go into a pipe and it looks similar to 1-1 in style, but there's a lot of bricks and cloud blocks high up.
Yeah, I was playing Tetris online with my friend, and it was lagging. The bars were going down to two and one. Surprises me as netcode was better on the SNES stuff. Never had issue with the SNES stuff. I haven't bothered with Smash online much. It's so weird given Nintendo has great online on Mario Kart and both Splatoon games, not sure about 3 as I haven't played it yet aside from the testfire months ago. Had no issue with it then.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Eagly Yeah, honestly I'd prefer a port of X to Switch to a XC4 on Switch, mainly 'cause I have a couple of minor gripe with all of them visually (the art is stellar, though), mainly pop in. Plus, I hear X has a quest called "The New LA Pizza Murders" or something like that.

@Eagly Noooooooooo, Jumbo Tirkin!!! (out of interest, do you know what I mean by this?)
Yeah, it's nice to see everyone's favourite Welsh catgirl again.
@Eagly Indeed, for a second I feared her personality would have drastically changed between 2 and 3 but nope, same old same old and I'm thankful for it.

@Eagly Hmm, I've always liked that kind of character and their sacrifice sort of made sense unlike some other comparable ones, I couldn't go in to much detail right now.
I think that maybe when the big DLC comes out I'll play that then replay 3 just 'cause as you said it's not fun being this overleveled and it's sort of taking away from the drama in my opinion.
