@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Dahlia has a good voice with a strong accent but I think my favourite is either Morag or Nia in terms of voices. From what I've heard the Drivers have British accents and the Blades have US/pseudo US accents.
I'm pretty sure I've picked up how to better with the battle system just by looking here, TVTropes and the Xenoblade wiki, also Torna helped as well' cause it gave me practice at the combos. I would probably enjoy it more the second time too.
Square-Enix does not have the best naming skills, and some divisions of it must be completely insane with some of their decisions, remember Balan Wonderworld, Babylon's Fall and the Cloud versions of Kingdom Hearts?

It was crazy.
I defeated Nemona from the Final Battle after I defeated Elite Four from Pokemon Violet and I defeated Skeledirge from Nemona without my Water starter Quaquaval since I put him in Boxes as I need to leveling up other type Pokemon to defeat Team Star leader Eri and Elite Four (that I defeated them without Water type Pokemons).
The battle with Nemona was kinda hard as I didn't bring any Water type Pokemons.
I have finished the Victory Road plot, only two plots I have to finish: Team Star and Legend Path.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika I kinda want to play XC 3 already but I'm too gulible for my own good, actually believing that they will someday release XC3 Deluxe Edition in Europe. But so far I have my hands full with FFV, Radiant Historia and Octopath Traveler II (demo)
Bring me the sesame, miso, citrus and pepper flavored fish cakes
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Which US regional accents does it have in? I know Dahlia has one from the deep south but I don't know many of the others. @ComfyAko Yeah, there's nothing like knowing that you can't play a port of some installments of a franchise on Switch but people in Japan can, it's so annoying.

@ComfyAko Honestly, as someone in the UK, I'll give you the same advice I gave someone else in Europe with a PS3, just make a US one, there's nothing stopping you. You will have to buy US store credit but that's easy enough. @EaglyTheKawaiiShika I mean you're right, but she is one of the more memorable sidequest ones, she sort of reminded me of that Terra person from a different series set on a titans.
Also, that would have been awesome and that quest is great, probably not the dumbest thing in a game though, Metal Gear and Yakuza exist.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Exactly. It's a shame though. Kind of surprised you didn't mention the fact I was alluding to tOH, though. That quest was great and I felt the need to take a video of Kite falling in love at first site.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Nah, it wasn't anything to do with the special, just to do with the fact that both sort of refer to plants a lot.
Why Zeon vs Tatsu?

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika If I had a dollar for every time Xenoblade had a memetic mutation regarding potatoes I'd have 2 dollars, still it's weird it happened twice.
(What the heck is this a reference to, by the way? I've seen it places but never knew where it came from.)

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Thanks, there are a ton of memes that I just don't get, we weren't exposed to many cartoons (we were banned from watching Adventure Time, I remember that much, don't know why though. For the most part it was 'cause we only had the free channels though) and things like that growing up, only cartoon that I remember from my childhood is Ninjago.

@Kermit1 Yeah, it's weird how many of the people on this thread that are around the same age remember that show. You, me, Eagly and I think maybe Snatcher too.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Since I worked through most of Covid, I didn't make much backlog progress. Especially since I picked up Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition near the end of the period I worked from home. Amazing game, but one that requires a lot of hours. Too, I lost some interest in gaming for a bit there due to...current events that summer.
I've heard/read Dragon Quest Builders 2 is more highly regarded than the first game, so I'd be fine with skipping the latter. You do describe what sounds like a satisfying feedback loop for the game. Besides, I'm fine with taking a break from playing the hero on occasion. In fact, this technically wouldn't be the first Dragon Quest related game where I've done so. (See DQ V)
@MarioLover92 I do hope you're enjoying your journey with XC3! There's quite a lot of exposition in the beginning that some people don't seem to like - probably mostly those in it for the gameplay and adrenaline rush from it - but I didn't mind it. The game throws more than one curveball plot-wise; in short, like most Xenoblade titles up 'til now. XD
I just wrapped up Chicory Thursday night. Now I've moved on to Dragon Quest VII on the 3DS. That'll take up quite a lot of my time for the next while. I really like the game so far even with the slow start. I started it yesterday since I took the day off - I don't get a lot of public holidays off, so I decided to use a bit of vacation for a work break since it's been awhile lol. I unfortunately need to retract Cool Cool Mountain from my last list; I became beyond frustrated with the sliding race bit. I forgot I abused restore points when I played it on Wii U to make restarting much less tedious....
My step-grandpa was probably the closest I had to a true grandpa on my mom's side despite being my grandma's third marriage (Third for both of them actually; all previous marriages were terminated by death). I've heard my bio grandpa was amazing, but he passed away from a heart attack when my mom was only 20. I wasn't ever very fond of grandpa #2 to be honest; he certainly played favorites when it came to kids, of which my siblings and I were not among that number.
