My sister would tell me off for oversharing, but in some ways it only just dawned on me that this will be my family's last Christmas in this house, the house that all of us (obviously, excluding our parents) have spent most of our lives living in.
Currently playing: Metal Gear Solid
Back burner: Hollow Knight, Undertale
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Yeah, next spring. I'm kind of glad because although we live in a beautiful part of the country, we live in a pathetic little hamlet.

Truly I am mankind's natural foe! Evil Incarnate! A walking cataclysm! A shapeless insanity! GUNDHAM TANAKA!
Kelpies. Be they hound or horse?
Currently Playing on Switch: Chaos:Child, Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, The Hundred Line -Last Defense Academy-
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika it comes from a game designer who literally put shamans and vampires into a political intrigue and military operation - based game, and the character design isn't even the weirdest thing. I agree that it looks like they were going for... strong response, though.

Friend and I saw each other exchanged gifts today, he gave me a Poppy plush that lights up rainbow stars on the ceiling! Really cool, it looks like my pillow pet, but smaller.
Another friend and I played some Duke Nukem 3D: Nuclear Winter, a Christmas themed add-on that was included with the older Steam release of Duke 3D, the Megaton Edition.
@Sunsy
Hi, looks like you will busy during Christmas Day.
Btw, what new games do you play on Steam or Switch?
Reading your long posts, I never saw you have interest with upcoming games especially the 3rd party games that also available on Steam.
Currently I'm playing Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town PS4, that game also available on Steam with better performance.
Later, my games order of Nexomon + Nexomon Extinction PS4 and Meteoheroes PS4 will be arrived in several days later.
I like to try never before played games as long they have something interesting that make I want to try them.
I ordered some PS3 games too before the end of year 2022. Well... A lot of games based on movies such as The Golden Compass, Surf Up, Megamind, Kung Fu Panda on PS3.
I have never watched The Golden Compass movie but I knew there was a story book for kids with several pages and actual screenshots from the movie inside my school library, the first thing I got introduced by The Golden Compass. If I remembered Nicole Kidman was involved in that movie as well, from the poster I saw.
I have never watched Kung Fu Panda movie too but the game on PS3 somehow caught my attention as the genre is 3D Action platformer.
It's very strange I pick Megamind as I don't have interest with that movie before but the game on PS3, again caught my curiosity.
Well, I saw a lot of sale for PS3 games I can pick so I bought some PS3 games based on movies just for my curiosity and I want to expand my gaming horizons from those franchises.
The Steam game I'm playing is M-rated, so I'll spare you the details. As for Switch, I'm looking forward to playing Sonic Frontiers and hoping my brother gives me Smurfs Kart. After Mission Vileaf, I'm looking forward to it.
Wow, I actually gave my friend Story of Seasons. He liked the game during the trial, and I surprised him with the game. Have fun playing those games. I am thinking about buying My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure again on Steam since it's half-price, just to be able to play it on PC at higher framerates too. Really liked that game and wouldn't mind having it on PC too.
I haven't seen Megamind yet, but I did enjoy Kung Fu Panda when I saw the movie awhile back.
@Sunsy Ah really, that's OK. I think a lot of us had experiences like that when we were much younger. I didn't get a single star in Super Mario 64 when I first played at around 6, I just explored around and played my way, lol. That's cool, I think I recall someone in my family having a PlayStation way back when, with Crash 2 and that one Croc game.
That's good to hear. I got to upgrade to a better router some years ago, and for the most part, it's been serving us well. Recently, my wi-fi connection to my 5G network has been dropping out of nowhere on occasion, and I have to reconnect. It's pretty frustrating. It's been snowing like crazy over here, so that might have to do with it.
I can't blame you... it sometimes gets me, as well. My mom's been saying that I should be in the present moment, and not stress about whatever's happened in the past. It is good advice for sure, though I sometimes struggle with it.
Sounds like you've had a good gaming session and everything else. Recently, I've been playing Xenoblade Chronicles, and I wanna try to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe this holiday too, because of Merry Mountain. I saw the trailer for Noelle, and it looks great! Looks like a fun, feel-good holiday movie. Thanks for telling me about it! Yesterday I got to visit the local museum with my mom (it's been a holiday tradition for me), and we both had fun exploring it. It was all decked out for Christmastime, too.
Yeah, I think that's a lot of early experiences with games, I remember driving everywhere in Super Mario Kart. Driving on dirt, bumping into guard rails, seeing lakitu hold an X sign up, finally figuring out how to drive on track in time trials, good times.
Maybe, I remember some storms and snowstorms did affect the Internet and the ISP has to go out and fix it.
Same here, I also struggle with it. Past experiences makes me cautious and try to avoid situations that were bad in the past. It can be really hard.
Neat. Tonight, I played Duke Nukem 3D: Nuclear Winter, which is a Christmas themed Duke 3D expansion, and Asphalt's advent calendar race, that's about it for today. I want to try to play more Merry Mountain too. I also got Mortal Kombat XL thanks to a Steam sale, played that last night. You're welcome, I have a feeling you might enjoy it. Ooh, that sounds like a really nice time.
Gonna be less active here over the next few days due to wanting to spend time with the family over Christmas so take care everyone and I hope you have a merry Christmas, Hanukkah or whatever other holiday you celebrate this year!

Today is my 5th anniversary of Nintendo Switch purchase day back on 24 December 2017.
I played ACNH to celebrate the anniversary, but I ended up by playing Story of Seasons : Pioneers of Olive Town PS4 as I still hyped with that game.
Merry Christmas Eve, everyone. My area was hit hard with brutally cold temperatures, and we're doing our best to keep warm and everything. If you're in an area where it's insanely cold, please stay safe and warm. Bundle up with a sweater, have some nice comfort food, have tea or hot chocolate, burn a candle or two, sit by the fireplace... anything that'll help you get cozy! I wish you all the best, and have a wonderful holiday.
Here's a Christmas drawing that I did a couple years ago, which is Toad's holiday train.
@Sunsy Gotcha - we all learn as we go. So, it's all good. Yeah that sounds logical that the internet connection would screw up that way. It's not the first time that's happened to me.
Yeah, you can definitely learn from past instances. I've certainly learned a lot as I grew up and everything. We'll be doing our best to stay positive, and not let a single bad thought get stuck in our heads. As that one song in Frozen suggests, just let it go.
Nice, that's cool - no pun intended, lol! Yeah, Merry Mountain is a great course for sure, with its holiday atmosphere. I love the train that flies around the course, too! I so wanna ride it. Nice, that seems like a good sale. Yes, the museum was wonderful! I feel like every time I visit, I would notice at least one or two new things. It was a lot of fun.
@Zuljaras Nice picture! Thanks for sharing with us. Happy Holidays.

Playing: Hollow Knight
Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@MarioLover92 great drawing! It really captures the jollyness of the season. I also commend you for the pure bravery of drawing traditionally, where you can't ctrl+z every second (like I do)
