@Tyranexx Oh you know what, that reminds me, I may install a new save battery on my Super Mario All-Stars cartridge. I can't do it now since I don't have one of those game bit screwdrivers. That's cool you've played through all the original DKC trilogy. The only one I've finished was the first one, and I did make it very close to finishing DKC2, but there was one level that gave me a ton of trouble, so that's as far as I've gotten. I should play more of DKC3 at some point.

Gotcha, sounds like the third one's a good watch overall. I may check it out at some point. It's been years since I've seen the Toy Story movies, lol. I haven't seen much of Pixar's stuff in general, it was mostly Disney's own movies for me, but another memorable one for me was A Bug's Life - that's another one I've seen many times as a kid. The most recent one I saw was Luca, and that one is a fantastic movie.

Oh, are you referring to the Super Mario Advance games? Yeah, those were the GBA versions of some of the older Mario platformers. I'm kind of surprised that Nintendo didn't make an original Mario platformer for the GBA, the closest we got was the e-Reader levels in SMA4. Gotcha, while I've always liked Mario (particularly the platformers and Mario Kart, got into the RPGs starting with Paper Mario: TTYD), I was in a similar situation where I'd try to get into other games as a teenager. Stuff like various PS2 games, Metroid, and Mega Man. Oh, speaking of the last one, I reckon you've got your eyes on Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection? I'm looking forward to getting it for the Switch.

I saw a single clip of the dub and wanted to throw up. I could've done a better job then that. My cat could've done a better job then that. I've only heard Aya's dubbed voice, but Ima go toture mysef and listen to everyone's dubbed voice.
@Eel @DreamlandGem Y'all really are underappreciated. You guys showed me you mods aren't actually all the terrifying.

@TeaCatherine I'm going to cry. Tsukasa nor Yuzaki is pronounced right, and Tsukasa's voice doesn't fit her character. But dear god, Nasa's voice actor sucks and it's hilarious. Still, I'm gonna go crawl in a hole untill I forget the dub.
Edit: I just realized why Nasa's voice actor felt so familiar. It's the same dude who dubbed Aether in Genshin Impact. The Genshin dub is really good, it's just anime dubs that suck.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Let me tell you, Nasa sounds so bad, so, so bad. Tsukasa sounds pretty bad as well but nowhere near as bad as Nasa. I didn't hear anyone else because I only put it on to take a screenshot without subs. Also, I finished season 1 and the OVAs.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Aw thank youuu. I'm glad we aren't terrifying, I'd hate that haha! At the end of the day, our main goal is to have the sites be wonderful places to hang out, make friends & share our love for games :3

@TeaCatherine Yay. Did you like the OVA's? I remember the first OVA traumatizing me as a 11 year old little child.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Hmm, yeah, but I around that point I started to hate Nasa, he was fine at the beginning but near the end he became a bit of a pervert.

@DreamlandGem I've met mods on other sites that just got sick of me and banned me for no reason. Because of the fear of that happening again, I didn't talk hre much. I had originally only joined this site to post on a forum about Animal Crossing, and that's where I stay for, like, half a year. Then I decided to start talking in the anime forums here, one thing let to another, and I wound up here. Also, I like your profile picture, it's really cute.

@TeaCatherine I don't hate Nasa. I never did. Basically, when I was 11, my brother showed me Tonikawa, and I loved it. The first OVA came out August 18th 2021. I had watched Tonikawa before that date. So me and my brother were seeing the OVA for the first time together. So it was extremely unexpected what had happened. We both thought that was going in a way different direction. Though thankfully, it didn't end badly, just left me traumatized for a few days. Also, you think he's weird in the anime, wait till you read the manga.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Okay, I actually meant he started to annoy me, I was just overexaggerating. I did prefer pretty much every other character though.

@TeaCatherine I remember being 11 and having no idea what kaname was talking about. Rewatched it when I was 12, knew some of the words but not all. I could go rewatch it and understand everything now. I miss innocent 11 year old me.
