"Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on - and Tear, her newfound fairy "companion", won't take no for an answer! As Recette, you have to decide how you'll get your stock - either through playing the markets in town or going out into the wild with an adventuring friend and thrashing beasts until they give up the goodies - how much to sell things for, what the shop should look like, and how to best go about getting the money Tear needs to pay off the loan. @Scooby-Doo Why nto homebrew? Homebrew isn't even illegal. Homebrew is just making something yourself, like when my brother made his own VR headset.

Yeah, as long as you abstain from giving instructions or providing links on how to obtain legally dubious content, feel free to discuss emulation or home brew in the context of older consoles. Just not the switch or other current gen consoles.

Why does my bottle of Japanese seasoning have lead in it

Anything that has anything that could potentially cause cancer even in the smallest trace amount, is required to state that if they want to sell it in the state of California.

So basically everything. It’s a bit silly, but it’s their law.

I personally think it's okay to emulate any game as long as you make sure to buy a legal copy, although if that's impossible like with some older games then it's fine if you don't because there's no way the original developers will make any money anyway.

@Eel That's incredibely stupid. I actually know what lead does to children. I know every single childrens toy that's been recalled for lead paint. I once even had to tell a thrift store they had a toy that could kill children. I've just never seen a lead warning on a bottle of seasoning. I wanted onigiri, not cancer!

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko It's funny this came up, as I saw an item with this exact warning yesterday in a charity shop in a town in the lake district of all places.

@Eel Ok, I looked into it, and it's because Asian waters have small traces of lead in them, and the seaweed in the Furikake came from those Asian waters. So it's pretty much safe.

It’s a little funny, because with the amount of sun they get, even just being in the state of California could give you cancer 😅

No wonder they worry so much about it.

Now, that's an idea.

@Eel I'm Mexican and have an extreme amount of melanin or something like that and it's hard to give me a sunburn, as I am just a deep black blob under UV rays or something like that. I've never gotten a single sunburn in my 13 years of life.

@TeaCatherine That's just the wording choise I choosed cause I forgot the scientific explanation for how being Mexican makes me less vulnerable to sunburns.
