@TeaCatherine I'm more broke than you. My brother's birthday is in 4 days and I only have 10 dollars and everything he wants is expensive.

How'd you forget the most important reason, @TeaCatherine? I had enough for a Steam Deck at one point but I'd rather get a proper PC and also I'm more miserly than Ebeneezer Scrooge, and I can't help but feel I've spelt that name wrong.

I think that I have mentioned what you shouldn't do on public forums, @TeaCatherine, and that is oversharing.

@TeaCatherine I see. Welp, my game where I get to be broke is still more fun than my life. At least in the game, I get to leave my house/shop to go buy stuff people won't buy.

Also, that video was of a game called AI: The Somnium Files and it's on Steam, Switch and PS4.

@TeaCatherine It's called Recettear. In the game, your dad left for milk and left you indebt. So you decide to turn your house into a shop so a fairy 1/3rd the size of you doens't toss you in prison for fraud.

@TeaCatherine It's actually a pretty fun and nice game, I just explained it in the most horrible way with it still being accurate. Here's the official description.
"Recettear is the story of an item shop, the girl who lives in it, and the fairy who turned her life upside down. Recette Lemongrass finds herself in charge of an item shop built into her house, in order to pay back a loan her father took and then skipped out on - and Tear, her newfound fairy "companion", won't take no for an answer! As Recette, you have to decide how you'll get your stock - either through playing the markets in town or going out into the wild with an adventuring friend and thrashing beasts until they give up the goodies - how much to sell things for, what the shop should look like, and how to best go about getting the money Tear needs to pay off the loan.
