@Kermit1Pineapple I've always liked the premise of Kiki's Delivery Service, but somehow never got the opportunity to watch it. Still not sure why lol.

@Sunsy I love the echoing cave bit in the Drew Carrey version. He's trying to insult the echo, and it insults HIM instead. XD

I would love for there to be a Ghibli Fest event of sorts that isn't too far away. I'd be willing to travel to a point, but only if it's within a couple of hours....Which isn't very likely unfortunately. I'm not insanely remote from civilization, but unfortunately a lot of the Midwest gets skipped over for...about everything. Except Chicago and occasionally Indianapolis or the Twin Cities in MN.

Sing 1 and Sing 2 are both decent films. Definitely hoping to get to most of the other Ghibli films someday! Besides what we previously discussed, I'd put Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies towards the top of my watch list.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Ooooh boy, if you think BotW is relatively empty - and in some areas, it can be sometimes - then you likely haven't experienced too many earlier 3D Zelda titles. I adore Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess, but their overworlds can be quite empty and bland sometimes. But they could certainly introduce more enemy variety in TotK. No complaints there.

@MarioLover92 I played it emulated in college; someone had gutted the inside of a real Atari 2600 and had inserted a Raspberry Pi with all the games loaded. They hoped to sync it to an Xbox controller for a more comfortable gameplay experience. They didn't have the controller configured quite right, so I used a keyboard. E.T. was rough. I'm not even sure what going on tbh. I really do wish I'd been able to experience both the NES and SNES when they were brand new and hit the masses. Not quite lol. Birthday next month then? Hopefully more Mario related things show up to help you celebrate!

I'm not sure which game came first, but I have fond memories of playing Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars in my aunt's basement. I never beat any of them back then - I've completed all of them since except The Lost Levels - but I made it quite far in some of those games. It took me forever to get Cape Mario's controls down, but similarly I was blown away when I learned I could skip huge parts of levels and find secret exits.

I appreciate the MK8D invite, but unfortunately I'm quite busy this weekend. Hope everyone has a great time!
