Anyone been watching the World Cup? I’m shocked how well the US is doing lol.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko I had a pretty good weekend too, my family does craft fairs in a couple of towns and one city near where we live. This weekend I went to the one in the city (which has a CEX, Game, Waterstones and plenty of charity shops) and on the Sunday I stayed home with two of my sisters.

@KAIRU It's great! Uzaki is my favorite character, because she honestly reminds me of myself. Anytime Ami and Sakaki appear on screen, you know something hilarious is about to happen. And unlike Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, the entire show isn't just fanservice, in Uzaki, it's actually usually used for comedic relief, while in Dragon Maid, it's just used for fanservice, which I don't like, but there wasn't a single Uzkai episode where I didn't laugh. And unlike "Teasing Master Takagi-san" which is on of my favorite animes, it has the beloved plot progression, meanwhile in Takagi it's just 3 seasons of not confessing. You know it's gonna happen, cause in a spin-off manga Takagi and Nishikata are married and have a child, but in the main manga, that's been going on since 2013, neither of them have confessed, and it's starting to make me question whether I'll die before they confess.
@TeaCatherine I just stayed home all weekend. I never really go anywhere cause of Covid, and yes, I'm bout ready to go insane cause of it. A trip to Walmart is paradise for me. So now that today I get to go to Barnes and Noble and buy manga, I'm really excited. Do you have a Barnes and Noble where you live, or is it just a USA thing?

Eh, it can wait. @EllaTheKawaiiNeko Barnes and Noble is just a USA thing, I believe but I do like browsing Waterstones which is a UK bookshop chain. Out of curiosity how big are Barnes and Noble stores? Also, we do go out a lot, but we always wear masks in shops and places like that. Gotta go now. Tell me if you find anything good.

@TeaCatherine Me and my brother also wear masks everywhere we go. And Barnes and Noble is pretty big. So big, they can afford to have a manga section the size of my bedroom. Not very big, but bigger than any other manga section I've seen. And the childrens section is the size of my entire house. Not big for a house, but big for a section dedicated to childrens books. Barnes and Noble stores also have little cafes inside of them, or at least the one in Muskegon has a little cafe. I don't know if the other ones have a cafe. They don't even only sell books, I saw a little Nezuko plush keychain there once. It was 14 USD though, which is way overpriced for a plush keychain whether it was imported or not it was overpriced. Barnes and Noble is absolutely huge. Though I heard the biggest one is in New York. I can't even imagine how big that one is if, like, 20 of my houses can fit in the one in Muskegon. Only bad thing about the manga section is it isn't very popular, so they restock in that area very often, so it's not rare to see volumes 5 and 6 literally turning yellow from collecting dust while 1-4 aren't even there. And my favorite manga, Tonikaku Kawaii, has, like, voume 7-the most recent English translation, but no matter how many times I go to Barnes and Noble they still haven't restocked it. I read it online for free because I'm poor and I can't afford to not pirate it, and I get translation several years before the official translation comes out. But I would like the physical copy because I'm a huge Tonikawa fan. Been my favorite anime ever since I was 11, and my favroite manga since 1 year and 2 days (Read it on November 26th last year) Either way, I also got a few Japanese books from Barnes and Noble. So in conclusion, Barnes and Noble is huge, but don't expect volume 1-6 of your favorite manga to be there.

@Kermit1Pineapple My mom took me to Dollar Tree the other night and you have no idea how excited I was. Also, Walmart trips with my brother are fun. He got his drivers lisence a few months ago, and my mom is finally letting him take me farther than the Dollar General half a mile away, which I could walk to, so him driving me has no point at all. So sometimes, my mom will send us to Walmart and let us spend some of the food stamps on snacks, so we'll just spend an hour in Walmart just taling about random stuff, and concering the employees with our conversations. We say the tai food word all the time around eachother, and we don't hold back in Walmart, so sometimes we get a weird look from a customer or employee, but we've never actually been confronted about using the word. Either way, Walmart trips with my brother are the best.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Wow, that sounds way bigger than any shop I've been to, the bookshop I visited yesterday has a pretty small manga section that also has the same problem of not always having volume 1 of things (if it had had vol. 1 of Ranma 1/2 I would have got it. I totally lost at Scrabble; I keep getting way too many i tiles, I mean can you think of any words with four i's in?

@TeaCatherine I can't think of any words with 4 i's. And yeah, Barnes and Noble is massive. If you ever come to the USA, I recommend going to one and seeing the size for yourself. Also, not leaving yet. I still hate the fact that I'm, like, the only weeb in Muskegon. I know 4 other weebs here, and that's it. 1 weeb being my brother, 1 weeb being my ex-best friend who isn't nice enough to deserve to be classified as a weeb, 1 weeb being the neighbor's 7 year old daughter, and 1 weeb being my friend Thea.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Yeah, I'm sort of lucky in that most of my siblings like anime and manga, although my brother keeps annoying me by threatening to get me Attack on Titan and Berserk for Christmas.

@TeaCatherine My brother showed me half of Sword Art Online season 1 and I've been hooked on anime since. Now almost everything I've watched my brother has watched. Only things he hasn't watched are BNA, Komi Can't Communicate, and Spy x Family. And I got him to watch Happy Sugar Life, which then made him question my innocent act. Also, my brother bought me the Little Witch Academia game for my birthday when it was on sale a few weeks ago. I'll get around to actually playing it someday, I've just been busy. Also, this time I really gotta log off, I'm about to be done with schoolwork and my internet is too slow for this site today.

@Kermit1Pineapple'

1. I love orange and gray very much, but in the end I can't decide, which colour is my favorite, cause every colour is beautiful in my eyes.
2. I love Volcarona mostly [and since Pokémon Violet Iron Moth too] , but I also like the Pokémon, which didn't get attention like Trubbish and his evolution.
3. It's definitely turkish and polish kitchen. I love pide,baklava and turkish pizza so much. From Poland I love uszka and pierogi [If you never try any of the mentions before, you should definitely give them a try].
4. Hard to choose, cause I love a lot of games. Actually it's Pokémon Violet, but I also love Disney Dreamlight Valley/Magical World 2, Animal Crossing [especially New Leaf] and Sonic Origins.

Now it's your turn and I'm curious about your answers.

@ParadoxMon

1. Crimson (such a lovely shade of red)

2. Leafeon (I have the giant plush to prove it lol)

3. Easily a dagwood sandwich but there's so much food out there it's hard to pick just one.

4. Animal Crossing New Horizons (Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a very close second)

I have a few more questions for you!

What's your favourite Movies, TV show and console (let's continue from 4, so 5,6,7 are next)

@Kermit1Pineapple :

5/6. My favourite movie for all time will be Brokeback Mountain at least, cause I'm a crybaby - everytime, when I see it. The end of it is so unfair.
But the end of Barefoot Gen [it's a animated film from a manga] touches my heart badly too. Both aren't movies for someone with light nerves.
My favourite series are definitely Rick and Morty [I love the humor of Rick Sanchez so much] and The Walking Dead [I'm a little bit sąd that that serie is already over, but I'm happy awaiting the spin-offs].
7. I admire SEGA mega drive, cause I grown up with that console, but then I love Nintendo 64 [even when I had only Pokemon Stadium 1+2 on it] too. Now I love our switch [I share it with my fiance] and my 3Ds of course [it's old, but it still works].

Your turn.
