@Sunsy Good to hear about your Thanksgiving, same here, the food that we've had was awesome! Me too, I've also put my Raccoon Mario ornament on my tree, as well as some others as of now. I haven't got pictures of my ornaments yet, but I surely will. I remember giving my mom a Cinderella ornament, and she loved it. We still have it too.
That's cool, we also have those little houses back from when my mom was a child. I like having them arranged in a way that it looks like a quaint little village. We even have a white table cloth so it looks like there's snow. Wonder if we have any white cotton lying around?
Yeah that could be why they haven't drifted yet. The pro controller, as expensive as it is, is so good!
Love the ornaments that you've shown us! I went ahead and placed my Raccoon Mario ornament near the top of my tree. Love how he looks, too! Poppy and Barb look great, and I also really like Luca with his Vespa. Did you know that Mario Kart 8 has a vehicle that looks similar to the Vespa? It's called the City Tripper, and it's themed after the Animal Crossing series.
Nice, I decorated a bit more today too. Now I'm just waiting on ornament hooks to be delivered so the rest of the ornaments could be hung up. That sounds like a nice gift. I got my mom a Holiday Barbie ornament (I can say it here, I don't think she visits a gaming site), I remember she's been wanting one each year, so I decided to get her one. I don't think anything will ever top the Christmas Vacation moose mug, boy she was surprised when she saw that.
That brings back memories, my mom use to have fake snow for some decorations when I was really little, even old fashion Christmas lights that looked like flowers. My mom loves that sort of stuff, I try to stick with traditions she had from Christmas, even if it's not perfect.
Yeah, I just save the Joy-Cons for handheld modes and games that require them, or if I want to use the steering wheel in Asphalt and Mario Kart.
Sounds nice, I placed my Raccoon Mario near my other Mario themed ornaments. I like to group them mostly, I have the Frozen ones together, the Trolls ones together, and the Mario ones together. Though I do keep the special Trolls one front and center. Thanks, I'm glad to get Poppy and Barb, I plan to get a Trolls one each year as long as they're made, which won't be too hard, a third movie is coming out next year. The Luca one really surprised me since I don't recall one being made until mom found it online. I did not know that about Mario Kart, got to keep an eye out for it.
@Kermit1Pineapple Your icon, I actually had that Kermit plushie as a kid. It brings back memories.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy Cool, I had trouble trying to get another Kermit photo to work, and this one fit (I might buy this very plush from that listing, he was a good deal).
@Kermit1Pineapple IIRC, it was a Muppet Babies plushie. I remember having a bunch of them when I was little, they were from McDonalds of all places (actually high quality too compared to happy meal toys). I had Gonzo, Kermit, Piggy.
I don't have them anymore, but I have a more modern Baby Gonzo plush from the newer series, just out of nostalgia. Baby Gonzo was my first favorite character when I was little.
@Sunsy I have the Muppets plushies from the 2011 (I think) movie, I got them for my birthday because they were the decorations. From what I remember Gonzo was in a hot air balloon and the rest were scattered around.
@Kermit1Pineapple That's really cool. Speaking of the 2011 movie, I actually remember watching an episode of WWE Raw where the Muppets made an appearance to promote the movie. Here's a clip of it. Have fun.
I'm also disappointed that Firefox's spellcheck wants Muppets corrected to Muppet, lol.
Ooh, I have Disney+ now, maybe time to check out some Christmas Muppet stuff.
