@Kermit1Pineapple
They’re over until the spring. But I had a nice stretch of them at the end of the fall, so with a good spring I a can maybe get inside the top four overall. Although I would be fine with top 20.( top 20 makes the short go at state, top 4 at the end of the year goes to nationals)
Not gonna lie though, I’m kinda glad I have a bit of a break. Going to one every weekend was tough.
Currently playing: Pokemon Soul Silver, Mario RPG
Enos 1:15
Gotta go until tonight, time to go see the cardinals play. They will probably lose, but it will still be fun.
Also my Jersey I got a few years ago fits again. So that’s nice.
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Oh, definitely. While I can't speak for Sunshine yet, Super Mario 64 was a landmark release for its time and is one I can appreciate with a retro eye. Though aspects of it haven't aged the best, namely the camera and the fact that the floors in the game seem coated in grease sometimes. Super Mario Galaxy, on the other hand....That one is my favorite 3D Mario to date. Not only because of all the experimentation it did, but also because it introduced us to Rosalina (Who is much, MUCH better than Peach IMHO) and had something akin to a decent plot for a Mario title. SMG2 is nearly as good (not part of 3D All-Stars unfortunately), but I think it would've been a DLC candidate if it had been released a few years later.
@MarioLover92 Honestly, that's probably part of my problem; I don't have very much personalized stuff. A lot of the stuff I do have is all well and good, but I'd like more personalized Nintendo, gaming, and pop culture stuff. Too, while I like Christmas lights and similar items, I'm not a fan of what they do to the power bill lol.
I've tried some of Nintendo's mobile games, but the only one I've stuck with for any period of time is Pokemon Go (technically more TPC and Niantic, but Nintendo has a hand with those monsters as well). I did have a short-lived Fire Emblem Heroes addiction, but that ended quickly after I got sick of the gacha system. I'm also not a fan of microtransactions, though I don't really mind them as long as they don't gate important content.
Congrats on finishing Wario Land 3! It's a decent title all told, but your main gripe is why I prefer II and Shake It!/The Shake Dimension over it. That boss fight you describe can be frustrating....I set a restore point right before that fight and just kept reloading it when things went south. XD
