Turns out I have all the ds games on the multi cart, so that’s pretty nice. Thanks for the info on X and Y. For some reason I had it in my head that Ultra Sun/Moon reviewed bad, so it is nice to know they are solid.

@blindsquarel For what it’s worth, XY and Ultra SM are my favourite entries, just because a generation was less popular with the wider fan base doesn’t necessarily mean you won’t think they’re good.

The only reason I want to go with some of the better reviewed ones is due to cost. Once I get a job this won’t be a problem, but as of now money is limited for me.

X and Y have the best early game imo. The second half of the game just fails to keep that pace.

I have three siblings, my parents and a brother in law to worry about. ( although my sister and brother in law are getting a combined gift.) I’m not going to expensive, but it adds up quick.

@EaglyTheKawaiiShika My dad who is old (not gonna give age for reasons) and a teacher wants schools to teach more ""modern"" history and life skills.

The current school my dad is in he says the worst school he has ever been in and one of the worst he's ever seen, the Principle is like 79 and treating like a retirement job she doesn't expel kids or suspend them for long periods of time she just gives them little taps on the wrist pretty much and send them off. That's not even going into full detail about the awful things teens have done and she's done pretty much nothing.

I needed to vent our school system sucks and it's gonna get worse. Hopefully a shooting doesn't happen but honestly it probably will.

not to mention the school is filthy, a janitor once left their pile of dirt in the middle of my dad's class room.
