@TeaCatherine It's not a RickRoll, it's amix of Motteke Sailor Fuku (Lucky Star opening) and Never Gonna Give You Up. I'm a big fan of Lucky Star, and I hate it.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko So basically, it is a rickroll but mashed up.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko It's nice to be a bit over dramatic every now and again.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko What do you mean? There's no such thing as too many fancy words.

@TeaCatherine Yes there is, and it seems you might have reached that point.

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko On behalf of verbose individuals, I can merely offer my sincerest apologies.

@TeaCatherine You're scaring the Americans.

Sure, I might be, but I can't believe my sister would turn on me so easily (she's guilty of it herself.)

@EllaTheKawaiiNeko Sorry, I'm going to stop for today now because it's kind of annoying doing two things at once and also, I'm getting really hungry.

@Eel Around late August, I thought you said you had plans to go to Disneyland this fall. Was I mistaken?

@WoomyNNYes oooooh that! Yeah! In October. We went on a high season, and with kids, so we focused on doing things for them. So unfortunately most of the day involved waiting in line for little kid rides, waiting for the boutique reservation, and waiting way too long for the princesses meet and greet right after that... but we also managed to build a cute little droid, completely wrecked the millennium falcon in Smuggler's Run, and saw the Holiday-themed Haunted Mansion (which was after like two hours waiting in line....), so it wasn't completely devoid of adventure.

We also had a nice quick Gumbo dinner in the docks by the pirate ship (they serve the gumbo in a bread bowl!), and I had my fill of popcorn.

There were basically no characters out and about though... Must have missed them due to the waiting in line thing... There was an absurd amount of people in the park.

We also had great day in Universal Studios because my aunt got us special fast passes for all the rides, so that day was chockfull of rides. Jurassic World was amazing, I loved that one. Also got to see Super Nintendo Land off in the distance, and lots of merch (though I didn't buy any).

We didn't visit the Knott's Berry Farm park itself, but I more or less forced my family to visit the Chicken Dinner restaurant... And they absolutely loved the place, we will need to visit the park proper next time. The food was really good, and although they sell it as a single pricy unit, a single chicken dinner order can probably feed two or three people, so it wasn't ridiculously expensive.

Our Universal Studios ticket had the option of returning a second day for free, but since we got to do everything in one day, the family decided to instead visit the Calico Ghost Town Regional Park. That's where I made my carved pumpkin, the one that won third place. The park was in full blown halloween mode, and there were lots of little activities like that. It was all really nice.
