I do agree that either the comment sections need to be closed, or just don’t really cover the game. I don’t care whether someone is boycotting the game or not, they can decide what they buy. But when people degrade others for not having the same stance on the game, it gets really annoying.

@NintendoByNature There are a few old user I stay in touch with on Twitter and their feeling is just like mine. That the site no longer wants us older gamers around. As I said before when the staff here let's Wii and PS3 talk take over the retro game section it's pretty clear what direction they want to go and sadly doesn't include older gamers.

I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t click on articles that are controversial or political in nature. I come to the site to escape that type of stuff, not take in more of it.

@MarioLover92 Definitely! On the flip side, I don't usually juggle more than two games at a time so that I stay on track to finish them unless I really dislike what I'm playing. It's basically to cut down on going to the next shiny thing while leaving the previous shiny things half finished lol. That said, I'm currently just working on Ys Origin since I don't feel like starting anything else quite yet. I've played and reached the credits of both Pushmo and Stretchmo, though I didn't 100% either. I skipped Crashmo due to it supposedly not being as good/more difficult than the others.
@Sunsy It's fun seeing wildlife in general, especially outside of a zoo or conversation center. Besides deer, the most exotic wild animals around are bobcats, bald eagles, and coyotes. The former two are pretty elusive though. There was a roaming mountain lion caught not too far from my states capitol recently though! They've been extinct from my state (IL) since the 1800s, but they very rarely wander through from other populations. This young male was caught and taken to a cat sanctuary of sorts in Indiana. Too much exposure to people I guess.
Yep, I'm pretty smell sensitive. When I had Covid for the first time recently, losing that and my taste would've tipped me off immediately. I never lost either my taste or smell thankfully. I've been told it's a weird experience. I don't know if I'm just naturally sensitive to smells or if it's just an adaptation I started to develop when my eyesight started getting worse lol. I...can relate to bring overwhelmed by certain things and admittedly didn't react to some situations well at all when I was younger. These days, I just withdraw from stressful situations and have ways to calm myself down. It's a process that takes a lot of practice.
I'm admittedly cautious when it comes to some types of labels. Some are very helpful, such as medical diagnoses, since they can help chart a treatment plan for those affected and inform those around them how to best meet their needs. Others, such as stereotypes (Ex. Nerd, dumb blond, etc.) are a lot less helpful and serve as a lazy mental shortcut. I also feel that there's a danger for someone to solely identify themselves by a certain label. At the end of the day, every human is a complex being that is MUCH more than any label slapped on them.
