@Tasuki wait doesn’t 360 mean a full rotation meaning the Xbox did nothing? The names really do suck
I think they meant that it was going to make the gaming world do a full circle and come back to what it was before hand, who knows. I just remember before Xbox One was revealed gamers were calling the next Xbox Xbox 720 I was thinking God I hope they don't call it that lol.

Ouch, too bad they closed. Hope you get that Raccoon Mario ornament soon. I bought it from Nintendo's online store, but UPS hasn't given me the delivery date yet. Going by its shipment progress though, it's been making some good progress. I got my Mickey train ornament set from Disney at least, I can show you here or on Discord if you want.
Nice, speaking of which, I should play more of the classic Doom games, including Doom 64. I made a fair amount of progress on MP1's minigame island. Those minigames where you button mash or spin the control stick gets tiring, but other than that, I do like it. Surprisingly, I finished Paddle Battle on my first try, and that's one of those "spin the control stick" minigames. Gotcha, I've played quite a lot of the Mario Party games, most notably the GameCube and Wii entries. I may play Mario Party 5 for old time's sake sometime.
Nice, glad you liked it. We didn't have a single DOS game when I was growing up, the closest I got was games we had for our Windows 95 PC back in the day, and some edutainment program that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. I do wanna play Crystal Caves one of these days, looks like a fun little platformer... and being a Mario maniac since childhood, I do love a good platformer.
Ah really, that's cool Tokyo Mirage Sessions had a soundtrack as well. That's a game I should play more of sometime, I heard it's relatively short for an RPG.
You're very welcome, and yeah, I was never directly called that as an insult either. Clarifying this further, I only saw jerks on the internet using it to bring down others, which kind of upset me. Being on the spectrum is nothing to be ashamed of, and as I mentioned before, we're all on our own journey.
Thanks, hoping to place the order for Mario later this evening. You can if you want to, I'll probably post them here once I get the tree up, I just like sharing them, but I like to present them properly.
Yeah, id Software FPS games are always great. There's something about classic FPS games that make them really interesting, both the gameplay styles and seeing how they evolved. Even Call of Duty has some Quake DNA deep within its code. Awesome job on the progress.
Back in the day, I played a Mac port of Star Wars Rebel Assault II, and loved it, and had SimCity 2000. I also played demos to Duke Nukem 3D and Star Wars Dark Forces, those were the earliest FPS games I've played. Being a Mac kid I played some ports, but there was a lot of DOS classics I missed out on, this is why I love GOG, getting to play all the games I missed out on. I believe GOG has Crystal Caves, both the original and an HD remaster.
I still haven't finished Tokyo Mirage Sessions, but I love the game. I have it on both Wii U and Switch. Funny thing is, I got the Wii U one for Christmas 2018, and I kept telling my friend "this is a game that should be on Switch," then the September Direct happened, and I screamed, lol.
Thank you, I feel better about that. While meltdowns from overwhelming situations suck, there's a lot of good from it. Having a special interest actually helps makes me knowledgable on some things and I'm actually thankful for that aspect. Good example, video games, computers, and Trolls. Seriously, before my friend met me, all he knew was Trolls was a movie series, he didn't know about the cartoon on Netflix or the Holiday special, or how the cartoon expands things beyond the movie until he met me. Agreed, people like that are just bad.
@Sunsy Heck, even chasing mice can have an effect, though it's preferable that the little varmints die. I don't mind rodents...as long as they aren't in my house. Then they're evicted. I think we occasionally overfed those cats, so they became lazy at times lol. Nice deer pic! They've been showing up a lot in my area too. I saw a couple of does in my neighbors' yard yesterday morning. Thankfully, they didn't get too close to the road.
Some people unfortunately like to belittle and insult others if they consider them to be different in some way. I wish I could say this behavior is only limited to children who need to be taught how wrong that is, but unfortunately plenty of adults do this as well. Hence the cycle continues. I can't relate on sensory issues in the touch department, but I am sensitive to strong smells. Perfumes, colognes, sewage, smoke...a lot of it really bothers me. I can tolerate most food smells however.
I believe more people are on the spectrum than we know or realize. I've read some don't learn they're on it until they're in their 60s or higher! Women and girls can be harder to diagnose as well since research shows they (or at least those on the high-functioning end of the spectrum) can mask their symptoms fairly well. Not to mention earlier research mostly focused on males. Or people can be misdiagnosed with other issues, such as depression and anxiety. I did quite a bit of reading after the older of my two cousins on the spectrum was diagnosed. I'm no expert though!
Indeed, personally I think the cat scared them away at the time. Thanks, they usually stop by from time to time outside the window, and it's nice seeing them. That's cool.
Yeah, it's really sad people are like that, and from observations I've made in general. I should be lucky, I have no sense of smell. Don't know why that is, but when it comes to different smells, I can't even tell them apart. Maybe a good thing as I can't smell bad smells, but it's also a bit of a curse as it makes it hard to find something that may be a bad smell in my home while cleaning. So I may miss some things, even if I do a good job cleaning.
Yeah, it can be surprising, it's cool you read up on it. I know many who don't, including someone my mom knows who says it's "just a label" people give me, unfortunately there are people like this. Reading up on it does explain why I do the things I do, and why sometimes meltdowns sadly happen (which has more to do with overwhelming situations). I was diagnosed since I was 3, but been learning more about it recently, which also in turn is helping my friend learn more about it too, which helps as well.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Tasuki I will admit the forums have gone downhill a bit and the site in general (well kind of all gaming media) has taken a turn for the worse. I can't say if it will get better or not, hopefully it will, right now it seems gaming is going through a changing period. We have systems from all sorts of generations still clinging on for dear life and brand new systems with nothing of note to show. I think it will all even out once the older systems are phased out for the new ones, even then we'll probably still see some kind of support for them.
Now on the topic of this site.
Ya, some of the articles recently have been pretty "okay?" at best. Ya, the comments can be pretty bad. Ya, the forums have been getting pretty mixed and opinionated. Ya, some of the mods have been a little rude (pls don't kill me).
@NintendoByNature I have been wondering that myself. He just sorted of disappeared. This is what I was talking about the site pushing away older members.

@Eagly sounds about right. I'm friends with him on switch and haven't seen him on. @Tasuki exactly. I've been on for only about 4 years but even the regulars from that time seemed to have checked out. I honestly do wonder if it's the articles or toxic behavior of some users. Or just done with the gaming phase of their life..
