@Tasuki That's probably good advice. That said it has a really low trade-in value.

@Anti-Matter Forza is way different from a sim racer.

In Forza 3 (and 5) you can race on a giant Hot Wheels track. In 4 you can race against Trains, Planes and Lego cars, and even go to a Lego world.

Also what racing game let's you drive a Peel p50 and make it look like a police car.

Been on a Xenoblade grind lately. Started what could be my… 8th or 9th Xenoblade 1 save file. I’m surprised how well it holds up despite having came out in 2010. As much as I love 3, 1 has this streamlinedness to it.

@TheJGG Yeah, I also started a new game in Xenoblade: DE. Although I got a bit of burn-out because I was doing every quest, I'm currently at Frontier Village and will probably get back to it tomorrow. Who's in your party?

@Kermit1
But alas, I don't play XBOX ONE and Series X games. XBOX is literally have no games I want to buy as the majority 3rd party games are exactly same as PS4 / PS5 version so I can build my PS4 / PS5 games library instead.
I prefer cartoonish racing games than ultra realistic racing games.
And for my PS5 games, I have considered Paw Patrol Grand Prix and Animal Kart Racers for my cartoonish racing games.

@Anti-Matter To each his own.

My brother is a HUGE Xbox fan, I've never played or touched a PlayStation in my life.

@Kermit1
I'm the opposite.
I have never played XBOX games before.
The only XBOX games I have are Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix 1 - 3 on XBOX (still looking for DDR Ultramix 4 to complete the series), Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE 1 & 3 XBOX 360 (still looking for DDR UNIVERSE 2 to complete the series) and some Kinect XBOX 360 games. Funny thing, I still don't have XBOX machine yet but already have the games.

PlayStation was my teenhood video game when I was 14 years old in year 1998. I got introduced by Magical Drop 3, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Dance Dance Revolution 3rd Mix, Harvest Moon Back to Nature, Pepsiman, Punky Skunk, Magical Tetris featuring Disney, DDR Disney Rave, Chocobo Racing, Chocobo Mystery Dungeon 2, Monster Rancher 2, etc.

Currently, I have a lot of PlayStation games collection after I grew up and could purchase video games by my own money.
I have PS1, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, PSP games and my hype is currently on PS4 games.
I can say PS2 have better games library and diversity than XBOX games even PS2 was the weakest compared with Gamecube and XBOX.
PS2 have the most rhythm games by Konami, Kickboxing games K-1, Bomberman games, the signature PS2 games I like the most.

@TeaCatherine yeah that’s what I found the most challenging every time I start a new save, most of the side quests are boring fetch or kill quests. Frontier Village and Alcamoth are particularly guilty of this.

Party wise I’m still on Shulk/Reyn but usually my go-to party is Melia/Sharla/Reyn. Love playing as Melia, her play style is very unique due to her control over ether. Sharla too, though her cool-down talent art is quite lame. What’s your party like?

@TheJGG Recently I tried playing as Melia and I just can't get myself to like playing as her, any tips for that? Personally, my favourite to play as is Dunban, I've heard Shulk and Melia don't have very good AIs, so it's normally Dunban, Sharla and Reyn. I don't really use elaborate setups or anything.

Thanks, we nearly had a faster run today, but I missed my dally ( basically wrapping your rope around the saddle horn before you turn the steer). I had a good calf run though.

@Eagly Sorry, it's just the idea of being without a healer has always offended me. Okay I'll try swapping out Sharla for Melia and giving Reyn some Agility gems. Any other advice?

@Fizza Hi there, hope you're doing well. Me and @lostsocks are thinking of playing Mario Party 2 online tonight, at about 9:15 PM EST. Do you wanna join us, or is that time a bit late for you? I can send you an invite via the N64 NSO app.

@MarioLover92 Hmm, that's 2AM for me here. If you could try and hold it at about 8/8:30 EST I think that'd work pretty well for me (though if you can't, I don't mind playing at that time at all ). Haven't actually played the two MP's yet so it should make for a fun time!

@Eagly Thanks for the advice, I'll try and take it onboard. On another note, turns out one of my sisters put Tales of Vesperia for the X-box 360 on her Christmas list, I just didn't know it.

I love the Horizon series, they are my favorite racing series. They are so relaxing. I see them more as an open world RPG racing game then anything else. Sometime I just spend hours cruising around enjoying the sites.

@Tasuki Horizon 4 is easily in my top 5 of all time list. One thing I love about them besides the really cool and sometimes obscure cars is the Rewind feature it is perfect for casual play.

Which game in the series is your favourite?

@Kermit1 I have only really played 3. I have dabbled with 4 and 1 but I am trying to complete 3 before I play the other ones. I am very interested in playing the others. I have completed the main story for 3 but my OCD wants to complete all the races and get a few trophies still.

How...How does this topic keep moving so many pages? I admit I've been busy, but....

Anyway, we received a surprise round of snow overnight. Snow in November where I live isn't unheard of, but it's uncommon these days. Especially this early in the month. We went from highs in the mid-70s a couple days ago to a high of near freezing today. The good news is the pavement was still warm enough that shoveling and salting haven't been necessary.

@Sunsy Heck, even chasing mice can have an effect, though it's preferable that the little varmints die. I don't mind rodents...as long as they aren't in my house. Then they're evicted. I think we occasionally overfed those cats, so they became lazy at times lol. Nice deer pic! They've been showing up a lot in my area too. I saw a couple of does in my neighbors' yard yesterday morning. Thankfully, they didn't get too close to the road.

Some people unfortunately like to belittle and insult others if they consider them to be different in some way. I wish I could say this behavior is only limited to children who need to be taught how wrong that is, but unfortunately plenty of adults do this as well. Hence the cycle continues. I can't relate on sensory issues in the touch department, but I am sensitive to strong smells. Perfumes, colognes, sewage, smoke...a lot of it really bothers me. I can tolerate most food smells however.

I believe more people are on the spectrum than we know or realize. I've read some don't learn they're on it until they're in their 60s or higher! Women and girls can be harder to diagnose as well since research shows they (or at least those on the high-functioning end of the spectrum) can mask their symptoms fairly well. Not to mention earlier research mostly focused on males. Or people can be misdiagnosed with other issues, such as depression and anxiety. I did quite a bit of reading after the older of my two cousins on the spectrum was diagnosed. I'm no expert though!

@MarioLover92 Some games do look very good in handheld mode! Others, usually those more optimized for higher res screens, fare better in docked mode in my experience. I do like art on occasion, though I feel some of it is highly subjective lol. I've finished Wario Land 3, but I think I juggled it along with another game to play. That's usually my M.O., just in case I need a change of pace from one game. I'm about finished with picking up 3DS eShop titles, but there are a few I still need to grab on Wii U. Mostly VC games, but there are a couple of exceptions like Pushmo World.
