@MarioLover92 I usually just play handheld when it's a game more suited to the format, like some indie titles. Or very rarely when I do take it somewhere and have awhile to play. My Switch normally stays in my living room where the only TV I own lives lol. I still need to pick up Mole Mania, hopefully before long! I don't blame you needing a break from Wario Land 3; while it's a good game, its nonlinear nature can be a bit confusing and repetitive sometimes.
That's cool. Yes, there are some games that especially look great in handheld mode. Sonic Mania looks awesome on the Switch's handheld screen! I remember playing it during a car trip to an art museum to pass the time. (On a side note, the paintings there looked fantastic!) Yeah, I think WL3's a decent game overall, just that it could be less tiring, I think. I may come back to it at some point, just don't know when. I should still get the Donkey Kong Land games before the eShop closes... as well as Gargoyle's Quest. That's a game I've had my eyes on for some time now and I heard it's one of the best Game Boy games.
Same here, I've been busier than usual. It was a good day, friend and I had some fun gaming and going to the local mall. That sounds nice, I took advantage of the warmer weather to set up the outside lights early. Awesome, that reminds me, I need to order that raccoon Mario ornament soon. I was going to pick it up with my friend, but the Hallmark store closed in the mall. I can order it since that's how I got the other ones.
That's cool. The closest thing to something N64 related I've been playing is Quake 64 via the Quake remaster on Switch. Hope you get to enjoy mini-game island. I haven't played much Mario Party outside 4 and Super Mario Party, the latter is mostly the mini-games.
Yeah, even though the levels were all over the place at times and I had to resort to the lives code (the HD remaster has unlimited lives from what I've seen in videos), it was a fun little classic DOS platformer. That's why I like DOS games, I never played them as a kid. We had a Mac growing up and didn't have a PC until later on.
That sounds like a cool CD set, yeah I found it shortly before I got a Switch and bought it. Yeah, IIRC, Tokyo Mirage Sessions soundtrack is on iTunes, albeit under the Japanese title (found it via the #FE part). I bought a few songs from it a few years ago.
Thank you, I feel the same way actually. To clarify, I was never called "autistic" as an insult, it was just an observation I've seen online. My mom used it when describing me to friends, but it was never the insult version. I'm grateful for this community too!
Ouch, too bad they closed. Hope you get that Raccoon Mario ornament soon. I bought it from Nintendo's online store, but UPS hasn't given me the delivery date yet. Going by its shipment progress though, it's been making some good progress. I got my Mickey train ornament set from Disney at least, I can show you here or on Discord if you want.
Nice, speaking of which, I should play more of the classic Doom games, including Doom 64. I made a fair amount of progress on MP1's minigame island. Those minigames where you button mash or spin the control stick gets tiring, but other than that, I do like it. Surprisingly, I finished Paddle Battle on my first try, and that's one of those "spin the control stick" minigames. Gotcha, I've played quite a lot of the Mario Party games, most notably the GameCube and Wii entries. I may play Mario Party 5 for old time's sake sometime.
Nice, glad you liked it. We didn't have a single DOS game when I was growing up, the closest I got was games we had for our Windows 95 PC back in the day, and some edutainment program that I can't remember the name of for the life of me. I do wanna play Crystal Caves one of these days, looks like a fun little platformer... and being a Mario maniac since childhood, I do love a good platformer.
Ah really, that's cool Tokyo Mirage Sessions had a soundtrack as well. That's a game I should play more of sometime, I heard it's relatively short for an RPG.
You're very welcome, and yeah, I was never directly called that as an insult either. Clarifying this further, I only saw jerks on the internet using it to bring down others, which kind of upset me. Being on the spectrum is nothing to be ashamed of, and as I mentioned before, we're all on our own journey.
@Kermit1
I’m gonna start being more active in a couple weeks. Right now is the busiest time of year for rodeos so that takes up a lot of my time. But after next weekend I should be more active.
On the comic front, I think there are some more stores near me that i can check out. But it sucks that this one is so expensive, because it is so close to my house.

They had a couple, but not that much. Mostly just DC/Marvel comics and then magic the gathering ( I think that’s what it was, but I’m not really sure.)
I’ll probably check a few more stores next week. I’m not gonna be able to go on Black Friday since I am going to arizona after thanksgiving. But worst case scenario I buy them off of Amazon. I know I am probably going to get the Under the Red Hood comic for Christmas, so that will be nice.
