@Link-Hero I had the epiphany yesterday, the 1080p pic is zoomed in, which is why the rock cliff background is so much more blurry, which adds to the deceptiveness of the photo/demo.
Actually, what IS that whole Magnemite Coil thing? Seems like I missed something big back in my B/W days.
@MarioLover92 I mostly just remember the comic strips in them and not much else, though those were what interested me anyway! My memory is foggy, but there was an occasional one related to Recess that I enjoyed.
I highly recommend both Wario Land II and Wario Land 3; they're two of the best games in the Wario Land platformers IMO, though it's hard to go wrong with any of the main five. There's a Virtual Boy release I haven't played though lol. II is my favorite of the bunch. The Golden Sun games are very good too, though be prepared for a LOT of reading lol. The reason it's recommended to play both the GBA entries is because Golden Sun: The Lost Age is actually the second half of the first game. Due to technical limitations at the time, the game was split into two releases/cartridges. The DS entry, Golden Sun: Dark Dawn, doesn't quite reach the heights of the GBA entries but is still a decent game.
@MarioLover92 Great! Should be fun Still working up that thumbnail! It's getting better from the last time ya saw it! Details, details!
@Tyranexx Yea it's totally gimmicky.. but such great gimmick it is! YES! VM (not virtual machine lol) Kirby rocks at the soda can pelts! 🤪 Yea.. in total troves. The game's really making me a bigger fan. I definitely gotta go back and play some of the older games!
@Sunsy I'm just glad the Sonic movies are great, so when I do watch I'm bound to enjoy! I actually hopped back into Paladins for a bit on PC. It's a cool game, glad to have played it! I like using IO and Furia a lot. Also, course Glad you had a great time, especially with your friend throwing you a party! But hey we gotta play some more Mario Kart soon!!
I have an announcement... Sonic 2 was awesome. That is all.
@BruceCM Nope, still have some cake. The cool thing about it being a small group, I had some cake left, so it's been desert for the past couple of nights.
@tekoii Indeed, I saw the second one with a friend today (same friend who threw me the small Trolls party), and we both loved it. Awesome, I'm an Io main. I do decently as her healing teammates and keeping them alive. Funny, I thought I wouldn't like support, yet, Io is my favorite in Paladins and Lifeline is my favorite in Apex. We need to, I have the expansion pack now.

@Sunsy I genuinely thought you were about to say 'Shadow's a ***** **** **** *****', my mind has been trained to immediately think that whenever someone says those words XD.
Glad you liked it though! Haven't seen it myself yet but I saw the original in cinemas when it first came out and quite liked it so I might try and see the sequel as well. There's just too many movies coming out honestly.

@Fizza Nah, I'm not going to spoil it. You're not missing much, it was a 2 hour let's play of Sonic 2... by a really terrible player.
Joke aside, it is great and hope you enjoy it when you get to see it. It amazes me that last time I was in a theater was to see Sonic 1, here I am, first time back to a theater, and it's Sonic 2. Indeed, I'm currently looking forward to The Bad Guys next. Trolls 3 still remains my most anticipated, I just want to see my favorite trolls on the big screen the most. I wanted to see Trolls World Tour on the big screen, but couldn't because of obvious reasons. Still rented it day one though, did watch it multiple times that weekend.
It was fun though, it felt like a Sonic convention. Most there wore Sonic themed shirts and had plushies. I wore a Tails shirt and had a Tails plushie on me. It was a great seeing other fans.
@Anti-Matter I want to say around 2 hours, I think BruceCM went into specifics. Didn't see the time, and the tickets we had were digital (friend got his phone scanned for the two of us).
@BruceCM Just about, there's one piece left. Mom and I have been enjoying it.
@TheStardustWarrior It's been awhile since I've played Minecraft online with a friend, but I'm pretty sure you don't need Minecraft Realms for online multiplayer. You do need an Xbox Live account (free for non-Xbox players, though consoles still need their usual subs like NSO or PS+), but unless there's some change I'm unaware of, Realms isn't required.
It's as easy as creating a game, making sure it's set to online, and inviting friends IIRC. Like I said, been awhile since I've played. I use to play this with a friend on Xbox via cross-play (me being on Switch), we didn't have Realms.

@Sunsy
I was wondering why does Minecraft keep always get more appreciation than Portal Knights and Dragon Quest Builders 1 + 2 even with way much better graphic ?
I knew graphics doesn't really matter for some peoples but for me, I cannot even call the blocky things from Minecraft as beautiful things. It just look plain awful for me to see all blocky things (blocky peoples, blocky trees, blocky animals, etc) while Portal Knights and DQB 1 + 2 with beautiful detailed looking things yet still cartoonish looking but peoples still like Minecraft more than Portal Knights & DQB 1 + 2. It's really bothering me at some point as some peoples really have bad taste in term of liking certain things and the effect, a lot of peoples just become brainless follower without understanding which is good things or not and it made me irritated to see how does the society grew by this situation. Sometimes I hate the world I live to see the situation is not what I want to see.
I'M LOSING IT RIGHT NOW. I JUST GOT A SHINY GALARIAN MR MIME IN POKEMON SHIELD AFTER NEARLY 3 YEARS OF ON AND OFF HUNTING. I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!

@Anti-Matter That, I wouldn't have an answer for, especially since I'm a really casual Minecraft player. I don't play it often. Also, I haven't played those games, so I can't speak for them.
I think the appeal of Minecraft is you can build stuff. Survival mode is gathering and crafting stuff to build a world to play and survive in. Then there's creative mode, I think this mode is the appeal as you can make anything happen.
As for graphics, I think being blocky is the design since you can put blocks together and build something, like a building for example, or get really creative and make something wild. I've seen crazy creations from Minecraft's creative mode when browsing the net.

@Zuljaras That too, I think it appeals to people for different reasons. I think the most I spent in Minecraft was making a big Smurfette out of blocks on the Wii U one, I was impressed with it. Playing with a friend, my friend and I had a good time together playing. Also, if you keep digging and digging, you can discover some new place underground, or find a way out.
There's lots of reasons why something appeals to someone, same is said about Minecraft. Though I did just want to respond to TheStardustWarrior, since I've played online with a friend and don't have Realms (AFAIK, it's a subscription to run a 24/7 server, while regular online games save in place and don't have a sub).

@Sunsy
For me in my opinion, I don't see the appeal to play with all blocky things from Minecraft, it just something disturbing for my eyes.
Better you try Portal Knights and Dragon Quest Builders 2 as they are available on Steam too. There are some communities who still playing those games.
And that's why I gave score for Portal Knights with 92/100, DQB 2 with 96/100 for exceeding my expectations.
Just want to say something, I haven't said anything about this, the reason I've been so busy lately is because I'm moving today. It's been stressful, honestly, my birthday and the Sonic 2 movie have been the only break I've had from this, also chatting here has helped too. I'm hoping everything goes smoothly.

Well, I just looked the film up & that's what it said for it's length, @Sunsy .... Of course, in the cinema, there's about 30mins of ads before the main feature
I took a week off work to drive from Wisconsin down to Mississipi and New Orleans with my mom and brother to scatter my dad's ashes.
We got through Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, and then just a few miles into Mississippi, the car breaks down on I-55. Think the timing chain broke. My mom was driving and it just suddenly cut off. She wasn't able to coast it off the interstate completely so we were partially in the left lane- extremely dangerous with tons of traffic coming.
We had no idea where we were aside from being 20 miles past Memphis, no mile markers in sight, just stranded.
Thankfully a cop pulled behind us and called a tow company, and the cop gave us a ride to a hotel in Hernando, MS. Really nice cops. Me and my bro rode in the back of one and my mom in another. The cop said his dad was a Methodist preacher and had recently passed, and was from Louisiana where we were ultimately heading.
So we're in a Hilton Inn in Hernando, Mississippi until Monday when the mechanic opens and a car rental service opens. Will have to see if the car is worth fixing (all 3 of us have new cars but mom wanted to take her spare car, what I call the Time Machine as it looks like it's from another era, because it's larger and more luxurious, even though it's older... poor decision in hindsight). Otherwise, sell it for scrap, rent a car from Enterprise and drive the rest of the way to Southern Mississippi on Monday to stay with my cousin, then New Orleans on Wednesday to scatter ashes, and head back to Wisconsin Friday and turn the car in near where I live.
What a trip.

@JaxonH Something similar happened to us a few years back on a family roadtrip to Disney World, except my mother lost control of the steering wheel and collided with one of those walls on the side of the highway. Only one police officer initially happened by, though, so the brother-in-law and I were stranded on the side of a highway for over an hour until the towing vehicle came by, since we obviously loaded the girls into the back of the police car to get them out of the situation. Afterwards, we just rented a car and completed our trip to Florida.
Sorry to hear about your father, but I'm glad it sounds like you all got out of your sticky highway situation in one piece.
