Yes, it is LGR. I like his stuff, he's made that Sega PC games video, and even a Windows 3.1 installation one. Retro computers pretty much have always fascinated me, which is why I like his content. Yes you're right, he's made a Bioforge review of his own.

Awesome! I love watching LGR's videos, he does great videos on classic PC stuff. I remember that video. Yup, I think I watched that review to see what Bioforge was like, then I wishlisted it. When GOG's summer sale came last year, I grabbed it.

@Sunsy Yeah I agree, I've seen his builds of old-school Windows PCs and those are a nice watch too. I just saw his review, the game looks a bit different from what I imagined it to be but I may give it a shot at some point.
Ah yeah, speaking of TMNT from the last page, I wanna get the TMNT collection a shot. I played the first arcade game before and it's a pretty fun beat-em-up. Love the music as well. I heard really good things about Turtles in Time, I especially want to play that! It never came out on Virtual Console, either.

After some thoughts, looks like there were some changes in my favorite consoles currently .
1. PS4
2. PS3
3. PS2
4. Switch
5. Wii
6. WIi U
7. Gamecube
8. PS1
Switch was fell down due to I have switched back slowly to PS4 during pandemic. I still like my Switch but for 3rd party multi console games, I choose PS4 or PS5 version for better performance (but still I have to keep my eyes on their GB size).
I didn't registered XBOX and XBOX 360 on my Top consoles since I don't have the machines at the moment but already have some games of them.
@Sunsy Happy Birthday!!! I wish you to get lots of happy memories from this day!

Ok, birthday was really really special today. Where do I begin. I went over to my friend's house, and he surprised me. He threw me a very small character themed party (I'll call it that, it was just the two of us and his mother) centered around Trolls. Just the cake, napkins, cups, and a Poppy balloon. We watched Trolls and had lunch together. This really made my day! Also, it helped I wore my favorite Trolls shirt, as I usually wear one of my favorite shirts on my Birthday.
Really was a nice surprise. Also, I got a Poppy pillow, some eShop cards I used on the Mario Kart DLC and the Paladins battle pass, a couple of other things.
@MarioLover92 Thanks for the birthday wish. Same here.
Watching old PC builds can be really fun. Modern PCs do do emulation and compatibility modes for old games, but there's something special seeing a game in action on the PC its originally was intended for. Another channel I like is Michael MJD, who also does retro PC stuff, and looks at older OSes and tech.
Yeah, Bioforge plays like the old Resident Evil games, with part fighting and part puzzles in it. Will admit, I'm really good at that timed sequence where you have to blow up the door that LGR hated. I remember getting it on my second or third try. Now I can do it flawlessly.
Turtles in Time is great, borrowed it from a neighbor as a kid. I might think about this collection just for that game alone. I remember having a great time with it.

@MarioLover92 Yeah, you could say that. ILCA did make some improvements to be sure - For the most part, I really like the changes to The Underground, plus they added a Pokemon follow mechanic - but from what I've read/currently experienced they're almost 1:1 remakes. I would've loved a Nintendo Power sub, but the only subscription I think my mom ever willingly bought me was a Disney-related monthly mini-magazine. I can't even recall what it was called exactly. Still wish I'd kept a couple of them.
@Sunsy Happy birthday! Glad that you've had a good one!
@Sunsy Yeah no problem! Sounds like you had a fabulous birthday. My birthday was similar, except it was all Mario-themed. I did get an eShop card as well, though I wasn't sure what to get until the last Nintendo Direct showed off the Mario Kart DLC!
Absolutely, I kind of miss using the old IBM Aptiva that we had. I think pretty much all the old PC games (that we've had, anyway) work best on the OS that they were designed for. I remember playing Atari Arcade Hits on a newer PC, and the graphics were messed up at times. I've heard of Michael MJD, I may want to check his stuff out.
Oh that's awesome you can get through that part on your first go now. That sort of reminds me, I used to have trouble on one of the World 8 levels in Super Mario Bros. 3 where you're jumping from one airship to the next. Nowadays I can finish it within the first few attempts at least, if not on my first try. It is a tough level for sure though!
Nice. It's got a whole bunch of other games too, including Turtles in Time's Genesis counterpart, Hyperstone Heist. Never played that one either, though I did hear its levels are longer. Also have you heard that Taito's releasing their Sega Saturn games on Switch and other platforms, including Galactic Attack? Been wanting it on Switch for quite some time, it's a really solid shmup if you like the genre, and I like its music.
@Tyranexx Oh that's cool they added that feature, I remember that Pikachu would follow you around in Pokemon Yellow, and I know your starter would do the same thing in HG/SS. Oh that Disney mini magazine sounds familiar, I think we had a few of those. I was thinking it was called Disney Adventures, I looked it up and lo and behold, that's exactly what it was called!

@MarioLover92 Yep, Yellow is what originally had the Pokemon follow mechanic, then they turned that up to 11 in HG/SS and have brought it back in some form in some of the games ever since. It's a fun cosmetic thing mostly. Ah yes, you're correct! It was Disney Adventures! I think I had a sub for about a year or so. I'm pretty sure my mom only bought it because she was hit up for a fundraiser lol.
@Sunsy Happy Birthday to you! It sounds like you had a good time, as others have also said. Hope it went well and that you got some good cake to eat, one ideally fit for a certain Princess Toadstool.
Regarding 4K Gamer Pro marketing photo: Do I dare say, nobody's 1080p TV image is as bad as the frame on the right without 4K Gamer Pro? I'm open to being wrong, but I can't help feel skeptical about the photo.
