@MarioLover92 Joke aside, my mom actually likes Mario Is Missing. We rented it once when I was little, I remember my dad was the only one who beaten it. Had a good remix of the star theme that's been stuck with me forever. A lot of music was remixed Super Mario World music.
If you do, Mickey Mouse Club is from the 50's so a lot of stuff will be from that time period. Mom did watch it as a kid. Cool, I don't think we had any of the sing along tapes. I do remember they had books with an audio tape that read the story, and at the end, it even played a song from the movie. I had Oliver and Company and Pinocchio in this form.
@Sunsy Yep, plus HDDs are almost always cheaper to replace these days. Crazy how times change; they used to be THE big new thing!
I've heard of Word Munchers, but I'm unsure if I played that one. I do recall liking a game called Math Blaster, but I can't for the life of me remember what platform I played that on. There were various Carmen Sandiego games, but I liked the character in general lol. Oh man, all those SIM games is making me want to go on another Maxis nostalgia trip! I wasn't even aware of SIMCopter, but flying in those cities you built sounds like a pretty neat concept.
@MarioLover92 I actually did boot up Brilliant Diamond for a few minutes yesterday morning, namely because ILCA in their adherence to the original D/P engine included a Jogger trainer who can only be battled in the morning...between 4 and 10 AM. Definitely not happening during the week, and I didn't want to backtrack on a Saturday morning just for that. Thankfully, Pokemon games let the player save wherever in most situations. Maybe we could play MK8D together sometime! Though I admit I'm pretty rusty...not that I was sufficiently skilled to begin with.
@Tyranexx Math Blaster, I've played that at my school. IIRC, it was the game where you did some math problems and then shoot trash in a shooter of sorts. It was the Mac version as that was the computer all the schools I went to had at the time. When was in middle school, that was when I first was exposed to Windows. I think we had Where In The World Is Carmen Sandiego and the USA one in a bundle.
If you ever played SimCity 2000, GOG actually has it. Yeah, it wasn't until my brother got a bundle with SimCity, Sim Copter, and Streets of Sim City (same concept as Sim Copter, except with cars). It was a cool concept, I remember having a joystick for that flight feel too.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@Sunsy
Speaking about SimCity and The Sims games...
Just now i checked my PS4 Slim storage, i found my The Sims 4 got updated again to latest version and it made me think my PS4 storage will be taken by The Sims 4 updates and updates + too many DLC and Expansion packs to buy from The Sims 4. It's a great game but the amount of DLC and Expansion packs made me nervous and frustrated. I have purchased a few of the DLC stuffs for The Sims 4 PS4 as they are not cheap and to concern my PS4 storage, for the next PS4 games i will purchase, i have to make sure i get under than 5 GB PS4 games by mostly so i can reach my target to have at least 60 PS4 games to be played on my PS4 Slim without external HDD as for the next PS4 games i purchase after 60 games, they will be played on PS5 machine or another PS4 machine if i have a chance to buy another PS4 machine again.
I still on the fence to add external HDD for PS4 to boost the GB storage and anticipate the dying External HDD after several years later. How did you maintain your external HDD on consoles?
@Eel
I love The Sims 1 than The Sims 4 for having funnier Simlish language and funnier life situation (sleeping on the ground or standing sleep with lullaby song played, the peoples get upset for being woke up before Full energy or didn't get the food, peeing on the floor, the commercial break sounds from TV, etc)
Btw, now i have Dragon Quest Builders games collection on both PS4 and Switch version. 😃
In my collection, i have Top 4 home builder games on PS4 and Switch. PS4
1. Dragon Quest Builders 1
2. Dragon Quest Builders 2
3. Portal Knights
4. The Sims 4
@WaveBoy I am 33 and I still love movies. Old, new, animated, horror, comedy I love them all.
I have weird thing that I remember small details when I watch a movie then I can recall it 10 years later. My ultimate useless power

@Eel I remember wanting to play the GBA version, only because it was portable SimCity
@Anti-Matter Afraid I don't know anything about PlayStation storage. The only console I have with an HDD is my Wii U, which has a 2TB one attached to it and it's not even full.
@WaveBoy Can't say I'm big on movies, I mostly watch animated ones mostly because I'm into cartoons and characters. Honestly, it's rare when I do want to see a live action movie. For me, I enjoyed stuff like Encanto and Trolls (my favorite series in recent years) as much as I loved animated movies from my childhood like various Disney ones and Jimmy Neutron.
@TheStardustWarrior My bad. I guess I like to keep things short and sweet. lol
@Sunsy Ah really? That's cool. We actually had MiM for the SNES, I was thinking it'd be like the Mario platformers that Nintendo made themselves. Turns out that wasn't the case. I'd wander around the stages, not knowing where to go and what to do. And I didn't even know it's an edutainment game until much later. I'm not the biggest fan of it myself.
All righty - I actually really like how Disney+ has all this content that spans across multiple generations. Not only does it have something for everyone, but it shows off a massive chunk of Disney's history as well. That's cool, I don't think I had something like what you've had. Either way, we both grew up with Disney in some form.
@Tyranexx If I do get BDSP, I don't think I'd be facing off with the jogger too much, lol. I'm not a morning person whatsoever. Gotcha, it's good. I don't judge others based on their skill level, because I'm a nice guy!

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@MarioLover92 Yeah, she always asks me if they're going to re-release it. I don't think they are, IIRC, Nintendo didn't develop it. Yeah, I didn't know what Mario Is Missing was when playing it. I remember we also rented Mario's Time Machine, which I knew was educational going by the homework mini-game. I remember the multiple choice questions, not bad in any educational game... except the answer choices were endless.
Yeah, I'm just really surprised how far back the catalog goes. I still notice some shows are missing. Example, Sofia the First is not on Disney+, and it's stuck on Netflix. Saddens me a bit too, since I'm working through Elena of Avalor, a show that spun-off Sofia the First, and enjoying it so far. Sofia and Elena were even in a TV movie together called Elena and the Secret of Avalor, which is not on Disney+ either.
Some Elena/Sofia lore, in spoilers, giving you an idea how the two tie together. In Sofia the First, Sofia wears an amulet called the Amulet of Avalor (this show was made years before Elena of Avalor too). One day, Sofia learns there's a princess trapped insider her amulet. Elena was placed in the amulet by a wizard to protect her from the evil Shuriki, who took over the land of Avalor. It was up to Sofia to free Elena, and help her take back Avalor. To think all this started from a little princess Disney was marketing to young kids.
@Sunsy
I was wondering why don't the kids franchises from Disney Channel or Disney Junior get the modern video games version but they got the mobile style games version instead?
Some modern Nickelodeon Jr franchises got the games on modern consoles but still no franchises from Disney Junior get the games on modern consoles. Imagine if Sofia the First, Handy Manny, The Lion Guard, etc got published by OG Games on PlayStation / Nintendo / XBOX machines.
Speaking about OG Games, I found Dragons: Dawn of the New Riders was quite interesting for me after I randomly watched How to Train Your Dragon gameplay on PS3 from YouTube.
@Anti-Matter My only guess is because some parents give kids the phone to occupy them, my guess is this, so they're going where the target audience is. Honestly I feel for it because I enjoy cartoon tie-in games. This is why Smurfs Mission Vileaf coming to console and PC was a big deal to me, as well as the upcoming My Little Pony game (I loved the new movie, so I want to play it).
I would love a Sofia the First game, that show had a lot more adventurous elements to it than early learning stuff other Disney Junior shows do. It did have nice lessons like the episode where Sofia befriended a shy princess named Vivian, but also, it had a lot of adventurous moments like Sofia and her sister Amber saving the kingdom from the evil Ivy. Stuff like that could work in a game. Genuinely a good show IMHO.
I do remember Sofia and Elena's creator tweeting about wanting Sofia and Elena in Disney Infinity, but they cancelled it before it could even be pitched. Which would have been cool to have.
Cool. Hey OG Games, you did Spirit and How To Train Your Dragon, both DreamWorks franchises. Give us Trolls fans a game too. I wanna explore around Trolls village as Poppy on my Switch or PC. At least Microids did make a great Smurfs game. Yeah, after losing Trolls Pop on mobile, I really want a console/PC Trolls game.
@Sunsy Ahh! That's comin right up, greatest wishes hope you have wonderful one! Ahh i see.. I still need to catch up and watch Sonic 1. Yea.. loving every second of that game . Ayy Paladins.. I miss the 3rd person mode in that game.
@Tyranexx It's a really awesome experience so far! The power-ups, the upgrade mechanic, and the mouthful mode are all serious additions! Also, just by far the level design is that Nintendo awesome. I totally hear you on wanting to experience it purely. Oh nice, looks like you're kirby-ing out anywho xD.
@MarioLover92 Oh nice that's always cool! It'd be nice to meet em and we'll definitely hit the tracks! It'll be some chaotic karting fun
