Ok, I had no plans to play Earthworm Jim 2 tonight, yet I played it. This was genuinely a nice add-on for NSO.

Yeah it was, though I remember only playing the first game as a kid. I don't think I ever played this second one, so three levels in, and I like it so far.

@Snatcher Yeah it’s rubbish. It’s happened to me a few times already and when I get notifications from everyone on the site who replies to me it’s naturally disappointing to see a random user who made their account half an hour ago reply to a comment I made a year ago that was meant as a throwaway line!

Hopefully it never happens to any regulars here, including yourself. There’s bigger things to worry about than that!

I think they were either bot or real people with their intention to troll other users.

@Tyranexx I may sneak in some gaming time during the day, depends on what's going on in my situation anyway. But yeah, whenever I game these days, it's usually during the night. That'd be cool, once you renew your NSO sub perhaps we could play MK8D together. Maybe when one of us catches each other online.

@Sunsy I hope I get to see it soon too! I do like what I've seen from the trailer after all. Good to hear you two liked Jungle Cruise, I'll try to at least give the trailer a watch too. Aw that's nice to hear - nostalgia can be quite powerful, I find. There's no time machine in our reality, but stuff like games, movies, music, and shows from our childhood, and even things like family photos and tapes, is the closest equivalent to that. I still get nostalgic toward games like Super Mario All-Stars to this day, even when I play it on the Switch.

That's cool. I don't think I had much exposure to the Mickey Mouse shorts as a kid, apart from reruns. Yeah I'm impressed that Disney actually went ahead and brought over a lot of their classic shorts to Disney+. Isn't there a documentary about how Disney movies were made and animated, too? I could be wrong, but that sounds like something I'd be interested to watch.

I made a video last year that's only funny to a specific niche fandom I'm in, but otherwise I generally don't.

We'll look forward to the body appearing magically soon, then, @Zuljaras ....

I got Dance Dance Revolution UNIVERSE XBOX 360 from Ebay this evening. 😃

And I have collected 10 XBOX 360 games.

I have scheduled to buy XBOX 360 machine (with RGH to bypass the Region Lock purpose only, sorry... 😣) in June 2022 from my local game shop.
I'm ready to play XBOX 360 games + Kinect games on this year. 😃

I wish I could spend more time making those things but I have upcoming final exam in C# and I am frustrated

If I take it with a good grade I will definitely spend MORE time sculpting, drawing and making my game!

Finally going to get to play thousand year door. It is the only paper Mario I haven’t played and am exited to see if it lives up to the hype.

TTYD is being unbuyable for having inflated price so it really broke my heart to see retro games price got inflated crazily like that.
I have moved on from TTYD rather than keep lamenting for unable to buy TTYD. I found the replacement with similar graphic style but with different gameplay, Dodgeball Academia.

What do you mean? I got it for 80$ today. Yeah it is more then a new game but not outlandish. Plus it is basically a new game for me. Plus I am a big paper Mario fan.

On another note, have you tried bug fables? It is like thousand year door but is only 25$. It is a great alternative to TTYD.

I found Bug Fables in physical release (PS4 version) with a little bit expensive price (not crazily inflated price) already available in my country Indonesia but only one game available since it was Limited print games.

Btw, you were so lucky to get TTYD with $80.
TTYD prices on Ebay from different seller was more than $100. 😵

My good @Teksetter, hearty greetings! I miss being able to spend more time on this site, and having conversations with people like yourself. I feel like it was literally yesterday when I read your messages about pinball and Subnautica... in the early summer. 😯

I've actually been thinking about some words you wrote last, about people in the forums ignoring others and such. It's true that I enjoy conversing with you (I mean, you get my humour, which is too rare), so I'm biased, but... I don't recall many of your posts on NL being antagonistic. Nonetheless, I wanted to share the following.

First: if you ever are in a bad mood at work and need to post something contrary or disagreeable, feel free to channel your energy to me. Perhaps you could address me as something like mangy lint-magnet (it's been a cold winter and I'm still (!) growing out, I make no apologies). I in turn will address you as kept woman of Waluigi (we can all see it's true, don't bother denying it), and we can have a showdown in the comments. Just thought I'd offer in case you need to.

Second: my own Ignore List is as long as a Wii U release drought. Upon reflection, I have to admit that I myself need to adhere more to that old maxim - "less teeth, more fur". So... I've decided to remove most of the names on my Ignore List. Some people definitely deserve to be ignored, like those who look down on their fellow gamers, or are just plain hateful. But people who are just being annoying (... or young) probably deserve a chance. 😁

I wanted to add that I quite enjoy your comments in the articles. I don't think I've agreed with everything you've said, but I appreciate your calmness, and the way you champion what they call "retro gaming" (I prefer the term "vintage"), not to mention physical publishing. And... pinball is truly élite! You can regale me about that subject anytime, in English or Japanese! My best to you and your young ones!
