@Eel At some point, everyone ends up with unexpected damage from freshly cut nails. Lol. I think with me, at some point I scratched an itch on my face, or eyes, and I ended up scraping, hurting myself. Real life lessons are learned here, Eel.

I just spent an hour playing MOL SOCCER ONLINE Lite, playing online matches. Since it's like Rocket League, I was crushing it. It's not as refined as Rocket League, but it looks and sounds so amusing, it's pretty fun for now, for a free game. The game froze a couple times loading up a match, due to connectivity issues. I have stable internet. So, it may be a buggy/new-game issue, or because of connecting with far away servers.

@Rambler That video is kinda magical. Chase Hawk's riding and with that song<33 He's so smooth & flow-y, linking all those manuals and ice-pick grinds. (In case anyone doesn't know the terminology: manual = coasting wheelie -no pedaling, ice pick grind = a manual, grinding on back peg.) When I've rewatched it, I keep noticing more places he's doing manuals. Like sometimes, he's landing in the bowl transition doing a manual. It's amazing. 😁

I finally figured out how to create GIF's from Youtube (sorry for never getting back to you on that btw @WoomyNNYes) so I can finally have one of my favourite protagonists in recent memory as my pfp. It'll probably only be there for a while but as of now? It's Ryunosuke's time to shine.

@Fizza Oh, you're fine. So, how are you making animated gifs from youtube?

Do you do it like me? Rip the youtube video to mp4 via firefox add-on, then my Samsung Galaxy tablet default video player has a gif creator button on it. It can only make gifs up to 6 seconds long. It's worked decent. (@Zuljaras, that's is how I've made my animated gifs)

Pardon the cliche "insane hitbox" title.😉 This is a clip from my online 3v3 last night. This is my "DJ Molcar"(battle car), hence the speakers on the sides of my Mol/hamster-like car. I didn't make it, but I unlocked it winning a matches. Every match won, gave me a New Molcar & customization. I played 5 online matches. I don't know when, or if, customization rewards may end, since it is a free-to-play.

@Zuljaras @WoomyNNYes I had searched 'gif maker from youtube' into google and clicked the first thing that popped up, being a site called GIFMaker. You input a video url into the search bar and then can tinker it as much as you want (cropping, duration, quality, that kind of stuff).

HOWEVER.

Something I found out at the end of the process was that you have the option (and I am not making this up), to turn your GIF (of any random YT video mind you).... into an NFT.

What. The. ****.

@Fizza If something you made became popular, I think the NFT aspect would help monetize it. Sorry if I just stated the most blatantly obvious point of NFTs. I was listening to StarTalk podcast w Neil Degrasse Tyson, and they were talking about NFTs & blockchain. They made the point that there's a way that you can get paid for every time it's used anywhere in the world. So, it's kind of like copyrighting it. And if that's still obvious to everyone except me, forgive me. I just hadn't realized the scale at which you could make money off one thing, more like a Spotify model. They were talking about how a teen kid made something, and ended up making a million dollars off it via nft/blockchain, or maybe it's just blockchain. Anyway, I thought NFT was only selling one thing, never to be sold again, which never sounded that interesting to me.

@Rambler I would assume so. You could theroretically take every frame of a YT video and 'mint', as the site calls them, into NFT's. Ew.

I will say though: seeing Ryunosuke's extremely nervous and worried expression above the words 'Mint NFT' was admittedly pretty funny.

@WoomyNNYes I feel if you're in desperate need of cash, NFT's are probably a great way to make mountains of moolah really fast. The amount of scams for them I've seen on Youtube testify to that at least.

@Anti-Matter I've heard the Sly Cooper games are pretty decent and would like to give them a try sometime. No PlayStation machine yet though. Maybe someday! Sounds like he's a good thief, not too different from Robin Hood.

On a different topic, I saw the image of you in the "What Games Are You Playing This Weekend?" article and am happy you're still going strong on DDR! I'm not good at most rhythm games, but I like your enthusiasm for that series.

Though that sucks, just keep giving me reasons why NFT's suck. There was this artist who made a short comic making fun of NFTs, and that artist then got death threats over it, like damn.

My legs felt stiff when i was playing DDR again after hiatus for 2 years during pandemic so for level 9 DDR songs I felt a little bit struggle to maintain my timing as I felt quickly exhausted for not playing DDR Arcade for very long time, added by fact i'm no longer young, will be 38 years old on this October 2022 so I will unable to play very hard DDR songs as I grew older. I failed for MAX 300 on Heavy difficulty as I felt very exhausted during the middle part of the song and my legs felt heavy to do rapid steps, maybe the long pants I wore have an effect too. I have to practice again to make my legs can stepping the arrows quickly without feeling exhausted too fast. Also, I think i have keep my arms also stay strong as I have to use my arms to hold the bar and maintain my stepping on the DDR panel. As I can visit malls again, I will try to check out other malls which I remembered have DDR machine inside the game center to make sure the DDR machine was still there.

Here is my brutal honest opinion about DDR machine situation in my hometown Surabaya. The reason there were a few DDR machines in my hometown as almost every game center in my hometown have the 5 panel dancing machine ripoff (I don't want to mention the machine name as I really hate that machine for being a DDR ripoff and caused some copyright issue 20+ years ago between Konami and the developer who made that 5 panel dancing machine. And the top of that, the same developer from 5 panel dancing machine made an exactly DDR clone in America called In The Grove with machine design exactly same as DDR except the holding bar design. That case really made Konami really pissed off and Konami put that case in lawsuit and finally in October 2007, In The Grove aka fake DDR ripoff got banned in America after the verdict from the court. But ironically, the developer of 5 panel dancing machine didn't get shut down and they still making their 5 panel dancing machines until today). And what made me irritated and hate even more as the fact some of game center in my hometown have tendency to provide more maintenance for that 5 panel dancing machine than DDR machine so when i found there were some DDR machines have trouble, they didn't really want to fix them. And added by fact the nowadays trend, peoples are really sucked with popularity from K country (sorry, I don't want to mention that country name as I hate everything from that country) so no wonder the game center provide more 5 panel dancing machines as the popular things nowadays is from K country and that 5 panel dancing machine was also from the same K country. It made me really pissed off as the original machine DDR got no appreciation while peoples really crazy on ripoff things. And this also the reason why i like Japan by the most but i never like anything from K country. Sorry for my brutal honest opinion.

Finally got Disney+ today, Hulu had an offer that wasn't the Disney bundle, just Disney+ as an add-on. Because of that watched Turning Red this evening, and enjoyed it. Honestly, I wasn't expecting it to take the turn it was going to take. Hope it gets a home release like Luca did, I wouldn't mind owning a DVD/Blu-Ray of it.

Making note to watch Encanto, and looking forward to Elena of Avalor. Mostly because I like the series it spun off of, Sofia the First, only seen a handful of DVDs and the crossover movie with Elena and Sofia. I'm also more impressed to find some of the more obscure Disney stuff from my childhood (Adventures in Wonderland... I'm surprised this is even on here).

@Tyranexx Indeed, I've upgraded computer parts before, but never bothered with opening a GB cart for a battery. Wouldn't want to damage it, especially if the cart works fine aside from not saving.
