@Losermagnet Oh man sorry to hear but glad to know that you are recovering. Yeah, I can sorta imagine that, I had stomach flu and the pain and feeling were awful already (we were traveling on highway for many hours so I was really inflamed) so I can imagine that it's worse. Best wishes mate, keep us informed.
Ah, I see, @Tyranexx .... With the way Sony are now bringing games to Steam & especially since PS5s are still hard to get, maybe go for the PC
Thanks so much for the graphic description of surgery, @Losermagnet! Get better soon
@Sunsy thanks. yeah. 2 days until the mr with the mustache might pop up again
Have a nice day. Voiceactor: The Pirates! (Sony/Aardman 2012) - The Passion: A Brickfilm (Neema 2019) - The Torchlighters: The Story of John Newton (Vision Video 2022) - [NEW] Minno's Laugh and Grow Bible (Minno - 2024)
@Tyranexx Totally, I didn't watch that much of the cartoon but I really enjoyed my time with the game. Ah yeah, I think I recall hearing it got delisted for a while. I did get it around the time it came out, so luckily for me it wasn't an issue. Ah yeah I remember all those Wii U bundles, like the one that came with Smash Bros. and Splatoon. Yeah, for MPT, 30% off is still a steal for sure! I'd still be excited for a discount like this since I'm aware of how pricey physical copies are.
@Sunsy Yeah, I like just looking at them as well. We used to have that Mario Mania player's guide and that one was really cool. Not only did it have the full guide for Super Mario World, but it also showed off the history of Mario up to that game. Nowadays, there's stuff like art books, and I have quite a few of them.
I have quite a few Nintendo Power magazines, the one I most remember was the one that showed off previews for then-upcoming GameCube games like Super Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime, and Zelda: The Wind Waker (it was given the tentative title of The Legend of Zelda). June 2002, I believe, and that was the very first issue I had.
Yeah! They must have had a prototype of Super Mario Maker back in the 2000s, lol. I used to have a lot of those cards when I was a kid, I think I used to have all of them that were available, but unfortunately they're MIA.
I'm looking forward to Mario Day as well. I'm gonna see if I can get a friend of mine to play any Mario game with me! Perhaps we could play something that day, as well.
@Losermagnet Jeez, that sounds really painful. Sorry you had to go through that. I hope you feel all better real soon.

@reporterdavid You're welcome. Yup, MAR10 day is almost here.
@MarioLover92 That's really cool. I also remember having the Prima guide to Sonic Adventure, which helped me get passed a spot I got stuck at in Lost World. The part where Sonic has to light speed dash had an awkward camera angle in the Dreamcast original. You couldn't see anything but a large gap from a distance. They fixed it in the DX version.
Cool. I think I had a subscription during the early GameCube and GBA days. I also remember in one of the issues I have, all the Wii stuff they showed off. In older issues, I remember they had codes for Animal Crossing that let you get stuff. I think one issue, I got a CD with orchestrated Smash Bros. music.
Sorry to hear. I still have a few Animal Crossing and NES cards kept safe with the e-Reader. I barely use it nowadays since one of the NES games is Ice Climber, and I bought a Classic NES Series copy of it.
Sounds like a fun plan.

Hey y’all, sorry hadn’t gotten back to you guys yet! I hope everyone’s been happy and well!!! It’s been a pretty hectic semester, but I’m starting to get adjusted. I hope everyone has been well and all. It was fun playing some MK8D with some on here I’m actually in the school library right now typing this. I haven’t gotten the chance to give proper responses with taking 4 courses and doing my tubes. But yea.. just wanted to drop by and say hello ! Find my way forward to the studies!
I don't know what I did to deserve this but since Sunday, I have come down with just the worst bug imaginable. Coughing, blocked nose sore stomach, even a congested ear! It's been like hell on earth (and before you ask, no it's not the C-word, I've had 3 vaccines and a booster shot beforehand).
I've been relaxing with Pokemon Legends Arceus to pass the time whilst I am dying on the inside and outside (once again, JOKES) and, in doing so, I've found quite a few shinies, the most recent of which being a Snover from an outbreak and a Yanma and Buizel randomly in the overworld.
If only I could grab a Poison type as well, now THAT would be fitting.

@Sunsy I didn't have any guides for Sonic Adventure 1 or 2, that's cool your guide helped you out at least. I remember getting stuck in Sonic's final boss, more specifically the very last part where Eggman tries to crash into you before blowing up. I had a Prima guide for Sonic Advance 2 though. However I remember that it didn't have any level maps, just screenshots, so that was a tad disappointing. Especially since it's really hard and tedious to enter the special stages to begin with.
Yeah, we had issues that were from the GameCube/GBA days as well. I had that same Smash Bros. CD as well, plus in the later issues, I'd remember those mini reviews of all the Virtual Console games on the Wii and 3DS. Good to hear you still have some of those e-Reader cards, I had a few of the NES ones and that one Game & Watch card that came with the e-Reader itself.
Yeah! I reminded a friend of mine that it's almost Mario Day, and looks like we'll be playing Mario Party Superstars.
@tekoii I'm doing pretty good myself. Best of luck on your studies.
@Fizza Jeez...really sorry to hear that you're coming down with all those. Feel better soon.

I said it in unpopular opinions, and in the article comments, I am really happy to see My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure. Not only did I love this movie, but I'm a fan of the previous generation Friendship Is Magic.
Very happy as I do like games based on cartoons I like.
Now Outright Games, DreamWorks Trolls game when? I really don't want my favorite cartoon/movie series to have games stuck on mobile, one of which can't even be played anymore.
Useless trivia: my username "Sunsy" was inspired by the MLP character, Sunset Shimmer. She's a character who was once bad, and turned from her bad ways and became good. Also works because the new character in the new movie is named "Sunny."
@tekoii It's alright, BTW, thanks for accepting the Switch friend request.
@MarioLover92 Wow, I usually don't have trouble with that part, but playing the PC version awhile back, I kept missing the jump, lol. I can't blame you, the way to enter special stages was my least favorite part of Sonic Advance 2.
Cool, I don't think I looked at later issues of Nintendo Power. I think both of mine are from October and November of 2006. The GBA port of Sonic and the Wii coverage seems about right given both happen around that time. It's like looking in a time capsule. I also remember the sales charts, Disney Pixar Cars was the #1 game. Yeah, now I'm reminded, but I remember the Air Hockey-e card EB Games gave away at the time. I lost it, but it was kind of cool getting a free game from just shopping there. Even if it was on a trading card.
Hope you both have fun. Probably going to play Super Mario Advance 4 and a couple of other games myself.
