So maybe this is the wrong thing to discuss here but I am just confused on this thought.
So I am all for helping Ukraine and all but I don't see the point of companies like Nintendo, Microsoft, WWE etc blocking their content in Russia. It's not the Russia citizens fault that their leaders decided to attack Ukraine. Does Nintendo believe that Russian leaders are sitting around buying stuff on eShop??? Does WWE belive they are just sitting around watching old Wrestlmanias??
Again I do side with Ukraine but what's the point of cutting of Russian citizens from these things.

@Sunsy
Eh ? This week ?
And how do you watch movie during pandemic ?
Oh, you have ever tried Yokai Watch game.
Which Yokai do you like to use?
If you can enjoy the first game Yokai Watch on 3DS, you will like more the third game as Yokai Watch 3 have more modern looking Yokai especially the USA Yokai. They looked like mascot rather than creepy spectre creatures. I spent the most time on Yokai Watch 3 Tempura 3DS than the first and second game as the third game have tons of post game content so it feels you still have a lot of things to do even after finishing the storyline. Talking about Yokai Watch 3, it has a lot of cameo or parody from iconic / famous things from USA like Indiana Jaws (Anthro shark Yokai with Indiana Jones outfits), Steve Jaws (Shark version of Steve Jobs. He had passed away in real life and become a Shark Yokai in Yokai Watch 2 & 3), Yopple Inc (Yokai version of Apple company), the zombies during nightime in USA (BBQ) that remind of Michael Jackson's Thriller, etc.
@Tasuki I'm kind of with you. I definitely don't know the whole story regarding the situation regarding Russia and how game sales might affect the economy or industry there and I probably never will. It does seem strange to me that so many companies are halting sales, though. They could very well have a good reason for doing so, though.

@lolwhatno@StarPoint@1UP_MARIO Well.good to know I am not the only one who thought that. I mean I am sympathetic for the people of Ukraine but for example if the leader of the country where I lived started a war that I was totally against and Nintendo blocked me from the eShop just because I happen to live in that country I would be mad at Nintendo. And what about people who are there because of their job, or schooling?? It just doesn't make sense.
If anything it would make sense if these corporations would maybe start a fund or give money to the people of Ukraine in support.

@BruceCM Yeah, we'll see what happens. Assuming that E3 happens this year, we'll be certain that a Nintendo Direct will happen.
@Tyranexx Yeah folders would be great for sure...I'm surprised they didn't make them for the Switch. I especially made great use of them on the 3DS, I have a backlog folder, as well as folders for Mario games, Zelda games, etc. I'd so make a backlog folder on my Switch as well!
@Sunsy That's cool, I played the Kirby demo as well and I really liked it. Yeah, I'm not sure if I'd be able to see it right when it comes out, but I definitely will see it at some point. Ah yeah, I did hear Luca is pretty good, that's another one I should watch.
A Nintendo Direct will still happen at some point, even if E3 digital doesn't, @MarioLover92 ... Whether they'll announce the next big Mario this year or not is less certain, especially if there's some Zelda ports coming & all the MK8 DLC to keep people busy, with everything else already revealed as well
@Anti-Matter One week left, as in Turning Red is coming out next Friday. It's streaming on Disney+, not sure if Disney+ is in Indonesia.
Yup, I found a copy one day for cheap. I like Jibanyan, it's been awhile since I've played the game so I can't remember who else was in my party.
Cool! I don't know if I'll play the third game, I heard it's pretty rare. Also, I have other eShop games I want to get first before the 3DS eShop shuts down.
@MarioLover92 Awesome. The new Kirby kind of reminded me of Super Mario 3D World in a way. It's cool we got to try Karby in the demo. Yeah, usually with new release movies, I give it about a week or so in event I can't go day of release. Luca was a great movie IMO, good story about three friends. My mom's side of the family is Italian, so I had fun with the Italy moments (this also explains some of the Italian things I've made in the cooking thread, family recipes! )
BTW, I bought Super Mario Advance 4 on Wii U today. Holy cow, the e-Reader levels threw me for a loop. Those SMB3 remixed SMB1 levels, even the levels with SMB2 vegetables. I like this a lot.
Woohoo...!
I finished the storyline of Rango PS3 just now. 😃
The game was pretty short, it took 2 days to finish.
The storyline was mediocre in my opinion, the gameplay was okay but it has some fps hiccups (20 - 30 fps). I don't like with the character design as they don't look very appealing but I quite enjoy the gameplay. Overall I gave it 6/10.
@Tyranexx No, I believe you may have a good understanding of how terrifying it must be to hear “thousand tentacles”, “divine robes,”, and “guilty road” in your sleep. The art delivery lines by human bosses is just ridiculous at times, and Malos’ fight is not an exception. As you mention… the game has some pretty rubbish tutorials, so it took me eight chapters to fully understand elemental bursts. Or maybe I even beat the whole game. I don’t remember. But Pneuma’s very powerful when it comes to exploiting them, especially because she can essentially make the orbs and break them too. I always loved fighting really powerful enemies, using Pneuma’s special to hit each orb once in a chain attack, and use other Blades from other Drivers to get bursts quickly. The combat can get complex… if explained. Not well, but at all.
As a sign to how bad the mechanics are for Core Crystals, I’ve played through Xenoblade 2… about four or five times, and I have only gotten KOS-MOS, the rarest Blade in the whole game, once. That part of the game is crazy off-putting, but the rest of it isn’t too bad, so merits coming back every now and then. The combat shows really well how Monolithsoft have balanced using a proven system, with fine-tuning or experimenting with balance here and there. Monolith seems to have a “Goldilocks” approach to game design, based on Xenoblade alone, though they seem to have gotten the “just right” part early on before trying to upend the table. X’s combat was pretty fast, and 2’s was slow, therefore. DE’s is in the happy middle.
On Torna; good idea. I’d recommend waiting for a big block of time to open up, because it’s a little bit larger than I expected. If so desired it can be a thirty hour game; by doing all the side-quests and all, plus watching all three hours of cutscenes. I personally took twelve, but I rushed through it big time, as it was my second playthrough, knowing how to finish quests, et cetera. It’s ironically one of the best RPGs in terms of the overall package despite it being DLC to the main game. For me in terms of gaming, I’ve picked up Final Fantasy XV again. I’m worried I’ll never view RPGs the same again after this one, because it’s just so good. The English voice acting in particular is one of the best I’ve ever seen. I’m also expecting Gran Turismo 7 to arrive within the next two days, so I’ll be turning a real wheel on a virtual track, expending real energy and time. RPG season hits soon though, so I’d better have fun while I can!
And Celeste? Do it, respectfully. The game is difficult, I agree, but there’s many reasons why I’m fine with it. First, there’s an assist mode. It can be activated at any time and doesn’t change the game in any way. You can change game speed, give yourself an extra jump, or infinite, and/or turn off damage. Sometimes in a very difficult screen I’ll just.. use that. But for the most part I’ve beaten three levels without heavy use of it. Second reason is that the game isn’t misleading or unfair design-wise. The game is incredibly simple (a jump button, and eight directions of movement, plus holding the trigger button to climb). Unlike a… Dark Souls or an Elden Ring, it’s easy to learn and difficult to master. Whenever you die, you also reset back to the start of the screen within a second. So no need to rewatch your death or wait for loading. You can get back into the level and fix the mistake.
@BruceCM There's Zelda ports coming? I don't recall hearing anything about that recently.
@Sunsy Yeah, the game's more like 3D World than Odyssey, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I did like what I've played, after all. Sounds like a nice, feel-good movie then. Hopefully, I'll find the time to give it a watch. Not only have I been busy, but I've also been finding myself playing a whole lotta Zelda, lol. Oracle of Seasons to be more precise. I finally got unstuck, though I did have to look up a couple parts. Turns out, I wasn't noticing a few simple things that could be done. I'd be like "ah, I didn't know you could do that all along!"
That's awesome you got SMA4. I still have yet to beat all the e-Reader levels. Yeah, that level with the vegetables you could throw is really cool, alongside many of the others in the game. Glad you're liking it!

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
Well, they haven't been officially announced yet, @MarioLover92 .... It may depend on when BotW 2 ends up coming out Or perhaps they're going to surprise us with Super Mario Galaxy 2 HD for Switch? Anything is possible
@Tasuki I was wondering that too, but (apologies if this was already covered in what Woomy said, they deleted their response) I saw someone online say that the point of companies doing that is to lower morale in Russia so that citizens become more aware of the war (because not everyone even knows about it in Russia due to the propaganda) and more opposed to it. It does seem a bit unfair to ordinary Russians but I can see the logic of it now.
I have a question - if I play the Triangle Strategy Prologue Demo from the eShop, but then buy the game physically, would my progress still cross over?
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, didn't mean it as a bad thing at all. I like the new Kirby demo, and placed it on my wishlist for now. It really is a feel-good movie, try to find the time to watch it. It's on Disney+ so you already have access to it. Glad you got unstuck, it always ends up being something like that.
Yeah, I had to do some errands yesterday and picked up some eShop cards (one for the Wii U and one for the 3DS), grabbed SMA4 and Sonic 1 8-bit. I played World 1 of SMB3, then I just went to the e-Reader levels since I played the SMB3 levels so many times, it's refreshing. Loved the SMB remakes, and even spotted some Super Mario World elements, like Chargin' Chuck.
I do find it funny, I still touch the goal flag, and then have to hit the SMB3 level goal in the SMB levels, lol.
