@Tyranexx I completely forgot about this but writing a note reminded me. It's from almost a year ago, I saved this bit of text for when you got around to playing Xenoblade 2. It's about a particular character design, so here it is... And of course when you combine the two designs you get their ascended state, which has a green and black colour scheme, which is the opposite of red and white. Plus, Pneuma is completely covered, because of the contrasting nature of Pyra and Mythra's armour.
Food for thought... maybe. I kept it for a year so... surely!
I can't believe they put Pokemon into Breath of the Wild 2! First Sonic and now Pokemon! What's next, Mario?
Joke aside, Pokemon Scarlet/Violet reveal left a smile on my face.
@MarioLover92 Yeah, it's not exclusively streaming, but it is a cool system since I have my movie linked on all my accounts. Didn't know Disney+ did that. It is handy, I keep both Trolls movies and one of the holiday specials on my phone because of it.
Cool, I got reminded of Super Mario Land yesterday too. Was humming the tune to World 1-1 as I left home yesterday. This closure is really reminding me of games I haven't thought of in some time. I use to play Super Mario Land a lot as it was my first Game Boy Game.
@Tyranexx Same, the few games I ordered online were legit. Neat, I pretty much only emulate those PC versions. As mentioned DotEmu's official emulator was really choppy. Thing with SNK PC games, it's hit or miss. Twinkle Star Sprites (my favorite Neo-Geo game, wish more would play it) ran properly, King of Fighters 2002 didn't, so taking the files from King of Fighters 2002 to a different emulator helped the game perform properly.
@tekoii Even playing some Pokemon X right now, played a bit while waiting for the Pokemon Presents. Definitely, it's sad to see the Wii U eShop go since DS was possible on that due to the gamepad touch screen. Sometimes that does happen with me too, I have some old shirts from when I was regularly watching My Little Pony. I still like it, and did watch the more recent Netflix movie. I've always wore characters I like, actually I have on a shirt with Poppy from Trolls on as I type this. Should have wore my Pokemon one, but it's too cold for short sleeve.
Man, Pokemon sure get a ton of games. Wish 3d mario games could be pumped out that quickly. So, can they make Pokemon games that quickly because the formula is a little easier to pump out games? - not a put down. kinda jealous.
@Sunsy I saw the Pokemon Presents video as well, though it was after its live broadcast, lol. Scarlet and Violet look pretty good for sure. Good to hear you have your Trolls movies on your phone. My current phone isn't too great, unfortunately. It keeps saying "storage space running out" when I have even a few apps downloaded...I may need to upgrade to a new one that has considerably more internal storage.
Ah yeah, can't blame you. I think Super Mario Land 1 was my first Game Boy game as well, or at least one of them. My memory's a tad hazy since I was pretty young when I had my Game Boy Color. But it's a good game for sure. Speaking of the GBC, been playing Zelda: Oracle of Seasons on my 3DS last night. I made it past the third dungeon, which is cool. But guess what? I got stuck! Happens to me a lot when I play games, lol.
@WoomyNNYes It's been like that for a really long time. The mainline Pokemon games have always been having mostly yearly releases, particularly if you're counting the enhanced versions like Yellow, and remakes like FireRed/LeafGreen. Most Nintendo consoles since the N64 just have one original 3D Mario game, with the 3DS getting its own too. The one reason Super Mario Galaxy 2 was made was because they still had so much more ideas for all the levels and stuff by the time SMG1 was made. They couldn't put all that stuff in the first game, so they made a second.
With that said...I'm so ready for whatever the next 3D Mario game's gonna be. I already fully completed Super Mario Odyssey and Bowser's Fury, after all. A sequel to SMO could very well happen, I'd honestly love that. We're already getting Splatoon 3 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC in the future, and we got DLC for Animal Crossing: New Horizons last year. Right now, though, I'm expecting them to have the next 3D Mario for the next Nintendo console. Would love to be proven wrong though.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@MarioLover92 Haha.. yea, but it's not too too bad The professor is very good, I can tell he is very versed in the course. Ahh that's great.. but it makes me also still wish that inviting people to game on Switch was easier natively. What time you guys thinking of playing? Prolly a bit later, eh? Thanks man, appreciate the great confidence !
@Sunsy Ahh I see, that's fitting with the Pokemon Presents and all. My goodness, the reveal had me. The starters, my goodness. See that's why I feel like Nintendo needs to really be better with it's legacy content. It's money on the table, it's fans yearning. Ah right, I hear that. Speaking of clothes, I've been trying to NOT buy all the Nintendo merch on Etsy.
@MarioLover92 They do. I had that problem in relation to iCloud (I have an iPhone). All I did was disable photos and the problem was solved for me. Then again, most pictures I take get uploaded to my PC, so I have no need to have them on a cloud. I rather save my contacts, settings, etc to that. My phone wallpaper, I can always send from my PC to my phone, no problem.
Game Boy Color could have been Super Mario Bros. Deluxe. Super Mario Land felt like a Game Boy version of Super Mario Bros, right down to the HUD on top of the screen. Literally, score, time, coins, world felt like they were in the same spot as SMB. Cool, I think I have one of the Oracle games on 3DS. Bought it during an E3 sale Nintendo had in 2016, due to Zelda being a featured game for Wii U.
@tekoii Yeah, been trying to level up my party. The world caught my attention, and Quaxly looks cute. Really like how the duck has a hat-like feature. I agree with that. Whenever I see Nintendo do stuff like this, I'm literally reminded that Sega does what Nintendon't. If you think about it, Sonic 1 is literally available for almost everything under the sun. For crying out loud, Sonic 1 got ported to Tesla, an actual car, lol.
Heh, I got most of my Nintendo stuff from either Amazon or Target. I got a Peach and Isabelle plushie from Target, and I got a Peach sweatshirt I got as a gift one Christmas.
After watching Pokemon Direct yesterday, suddenly i remembered how was my Monster Farm 4 PS2.
I still haven't played my Monster Farm 4 until today as i have ever played Monster Rancher 4 with pirated copy long time ago before i removed them all and i got a legit copy Monster Farm 4 despite it was Japanese version. With all the domination of Pokemon games, suddenly i remembered the forgotten Monster taming game that peoples don't talk about that anymore (Monster Rancher).
@blindsquarel Ah yeah that sounds reasonable, since the Mario movie's coming out this holiday. That would be interesting to see.
@tekoii You're welcome. I don't currently have a time set in stone, maybe sometime tonight? That's when I'm the least busy, approximately around 8-9 PM EDT, I guess. You can hit me up on Discord if you're ready to race/battle with me. Whenever you want a break from all that studying.
@Sunsy Ah yeah that's good. I would start backing up my photos to the cloud myself, since one of the things that would cause the low storage warning was that I had too much photos in my storage. It's easier to do for me, as well.
Yeah, SML1 felt really similar to SMB1, just with different levels and settings. There were those shmup levels too. I ended up getting both Oracle games on sale, just haven't played Ages nearly as much as Seasons as of now.

This is extremely off-topic (though still kinda ok since its Pokemon related and the new gen was just announced), but I love doing the Leon pose every now and them. It's such a satisfying thing to do and it gives me an incredible dopamine rush every time I nail it. I think I just love Leon honestly...

@tekoii I saw the "if anyone wants to join in" decided to follow @MarioLover92 in. I was just going to play Virtua Racing anyway, so decided to join. Had no real plans this evening, so thanks.
Anyway, back to what we were talking about. It was the opposite for me, I kept running out of cloud space, my memory is good. I do take a lot of pointless pictures anyway. Like different attempts to take pictures of something. Usually the not so great ones get deleted anyway.
Yeah, I remember the shmup levels the game had too. I remember almost beating the game one day as I had a really long bus ride. Cool, the only one I have is Oracle of Seasons. Never finished it, but loved the weather changing element if I remember, it's been awhile since playing it.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
@tekoii Yeah I got that impression too. I really enjoyed making that cover, doing them heals an aching soul for sure. However, I've put off replying sooner because I got hit with an absolute stroke; namely replaying Celeste, and re-appreciating everything that went into it. Such a well-made game with really compelling characters, dialogue, levels, artwork, and music. So I went and did a cover of "First Steps", and I feel like it's pretty polished. See what you make of it.
@Tyranexx (my apologies for tagging you twice), @BruceCM (who knows, you may like it), @Snatcher (something tells me you may have played it. Just a hunch), @Vortexeo (enjoy!) et cetera, hope you all like it.
@Sunsy Glad you had a good time. Been meaning to ask you, do you use Discord? I have an account there, I can tell you my username if you want.
Ah I see, I'm kind of like that as well. I would take pictures willy-nilly while I'm on vacation for example, lol. Yeah, I'd delete pictures that aren't very good too.
That's cool, you didn't quite beat it during your bus ride though? I liked that feature in OoS too, how you can change the seasons when going on a tree stump. I think OoA has time travel, IIRC.

@TheJGG Actually I haven’t, but your not to far off, as I was planning to get it soon lol, and you know this is my type of game. I will take a listen soon.
Good news, I got my last shot for Covid yesterday, bad news I feel like crap, the first one was just a sore arm, But man I’m sore all over, and feel weak as heck.
I evaluated my gaming hype from Nintendo Switch and I think i have shown a less enthusiasm with Nintendo Switch started from year 2020 and it still occured during this year.
It was strange as I used to be have very big enthusiasm in Switch.
Year 2017 was beginning of Switch hype.
Year 2018 and 2019 were basically my biggest hype on Switch.
But started on year 2020, suddenly the hype was almost gone. The hype I still got from ACNH started from 27 June 2020 but as years goes by, I still shown less enthusiasm in getting more Switch games as there was a change of my priority of getting the multi console games. Now, whenever I found 3rd party multi console games available on both Switch and PS4 / PS5, I have tendency to choose the PlayStation version instead.
I still like to play my Switch games but I think I have to spread out the distribution of getting the 3rd party games so my PlayStation machines will still able to get some 3rd party games since I like to collect a lot of interesting things.
