@MarioLover92 Thanks! It was good for the most part; I had a very fun time, but yes it is a VERY different world out there lol. I'd go back, but mainly to do more sightseeing. And I wouldn't recommend walking between a couple of destinations. Everything there is way farther out from your current location than it looks.
I took my GBA SP on the school bus, family vacations, some family events if I could get away with it, etc. I think a hard drop on some tile while visiting a monument one time didn't help the power issue. The only case I ever had for it was the Pokemon Emerald travel case that came with preordering it at GameStop. Wish I had something better looking back, but the case served me well overall. My OG DS that I no longer have saw some crazy times too. I'm much better at taking care of my handheld units these days. Though what started that DS's slow demise wasn't my fault.
Yuck, 4 AM? That would stink. This was an evening flight, so no sleep was lost in that regard. The flight today was thankfully during the day, though losing two hours isn't ideal lol.
Did anyone have watched the closing ceremony of Winter Olympic 2022 at Beijing last Sunday 20 Feb 2022 ?
I didn't expect Norway 🇳🇴 have collected the most model and got the first place. 😮
And after Winter Olympic 2022 is over, will we see Winter Olympic Games on Switch or PS4 / PS5 by SEGA ?
@Anti-Matter Yes that's correct, I have my red New 3DS XL and Wii U, as well. They're pretty much retro now, or at least close to being retro since their eShops are gonna stay open for one last year. I have my SNES, N64, GameCube, PS2, and PS3 as well, and an NES, Genesis, and PS1 in storage. I don't have any plans set in stone to get other consoles at the moment. I have a bit of a backlog problem, and my instinct says I gotta sort that out before I buy any more games and consoles. Well...besides the ones I want from the 3DS and Wii U eShops of course.
@Tyranexx Yeah you're welcome! I could tell from learning about Las Vegas myself, lol - I do know it's famous for its casinos. Thanks for the fair warning, so you're gonna be walking a ton over there, huh? I've done a lot of walking around NYC as well. And yes, I've been to Nintendo NY/Nintendo World a couple times, and it's an awesome store for sure! I got a large Mario figure from my first time over there and it's in my game room.
Yeah, I'd take my GBA SP to vacations and stuff like that as well. Ouch, I hate dropping my things too. When I had the OG GBA as a kid, I dropped it right before entering the door to our apartment, and part of it was chipped off. And yeah, I'm generally pretty good at taking care of my handhelds too. I never dropped my New 3DS or my Switch, thankfully. I've dropped my phone by accident more times than I care to admit, however. As for the OG DS, the touch screen stopped working on mine, so it's seen better days, lol. I still have it, but it no longer powers on.
Oh lucky you then, you didn't lose as much sleep as I did in my last flight. Yeah, it was still nighttime when my uncle drove me to the airport, and started to become daytime around the time when I got into the plane. I had to do plane hopping too, so I'd get two plane rides in a single day.
So, the Arthur finale aired today. As someone who grew up with this show, and watched the show again after high school for a time, that ending was really satisfying.
@MarioLover92 Yup, always mained Yoshi in Mario Kart, though I use Peach more in recent years. Yeah, I almost thought he meant that game since I have Sonic Gems Collection, lol. That's very cool, I don't think I played the GameCube Pokemon stuff. I had Ruby and Fire Red, and I have Emerald and still have the latter. Did start playing Pokemon X recently.
Cool, I think I finished episode 1 of the game before the trial ended. The first time the credits rolled. I'm keeping the save file on my Switch so I can continue it if I ever pick up the game.
Nice, I have the Indigo GBA, I like how it matched my GameCube. I honestly like it because of the AA battery. I had a week of no power thanks to a major storm, and it gave me something to do when the power was out. The sidelit one I have is the colbalt one, and the AGS-101 one I have is pink. I had a pearl blue one, but the screen broke (lines were on it), when I replaced it, I got the pink one since I found it for a good price (came with no charger, but that's ok as I had two SP chargers anyway).
BTW, got around to that Disney movie tonight, decided to watch Raya and the Last Dragon.
@Tyranexx Cool, it looks like a fun display piece too. I don't get Legos as often as I use to, but I do have a Trolls set I got as a gift and some of the Lego Dimensions stuff because I have the game on Wii U.
I finished a cover just now; my rendition of the Mechonis Field theme from Xenoblade. So any Xenoblade nerds out there, do enjoy. I'll tag @Tyranexx, @Vortexeo and @tekoii, and anyone else is more than welcome.
@MarioLover92
Oh, you have PS3 machine too.
Have you ever played Sly Cooper games on PS3 (Trilogy remastered and Thieves in Time) ?
What do you think about Sly Cooper games compared with 3D Mario games ?
I wish Nintendo is dare enough to make Secret Agent Mario with Sly Cooper style games.
Nintendo can let Ubisoft make sequel of Mario Rabbids with Mario holding weapons so I think Nintendo can make secret agent Mario & Luigi holding spy gadgets and have spionage skills.
@Sunsy That's really cool. I like playing as Peach and Yoshi as well, I would pick Yoshi in Mario Kart 64 as a kid quite a lot! I don't recall playing the GC Pokemon games for myself either, just watched my bro play them. I have played a good chunk of Ruby/Sapphire, however, and I played a decent amount of Diamond back in the day. Oh yeah I saw you started playing Pokemon X, have fun with it. I have Pokemon Sun as well. Oh speaking of Pokemon, I got Crystal from the eShop and I started playing it last night! I picked Totodile as my starter.
Oh that's cool you're keeping your save file just in case. The only NSO game trial I played was one of the Disgaea games, I think it was Disgaea 5? I thought it was a pretty decent game, though I kind of have a hard time with turn based strategy games, lol.
I have an indigo GBA as well, alongside my glacier one. Yes, it does match the indigo GameCube spot-on! I think I like the glacier one more though, only because I like how you can see all the hardware inside. Ah yeah I do see what you mean, especially if you've got any spare/unused AAs around. A week with no power, huh? That must have been tough to deal with. I've had my fair share of power outages as well, we've had one that lasted for a couple days I think. We'd stay at a hotel to get a break from that madness, lol.
That's cool to hear. Haven't watched any movies yet though.
@Anti-Matter I played the trilogy, been playing a decent chunk of the first Sly Cooper. They're very different games, honestly. One's about running around various worlds and collecting stars, and the other emphasizes stealthy gameplay.
You mentioned Nintendo themselves - I think that idea of yours would be best for a Mario + Rabbids styled spin-off. If it's gonna be a main platformer, I'd be afraid that it'd stray too far away from what made the main Mario series so special in the first place.
I haven't, the closest I got was DuckTales Remastered on the Wii U. That came out on the PS3 and 360 as well, I believe.

Ask if you want to be Switch friends with me, but I'd like to know you first. Thanks! ❤️
@Anti-Matter Because it was meant to have dlc to rap up the story, but got cut. There's no way we are getting another sly cooper game though it would be cool to get the dlc as a 10 dollar game down the line.

@TheJGG Mechonis Field mannnn, I love it so much! Excellent job with the cover dude! This one has a different feel to it and it sounds amazing! Damn...I'm really reaching a point where Xenoblade OSTs are starting to become nostalgic 😂 Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see the covers you'll come up with for XC3 👀
I've got some extra money left, and so i decided to buy Earthbound (SNES) on Wii U, along with Super Mario Sluggers, and Dr. Luigi.
I've heard a lot good things on Earthbound on SNES, hopefully i'll get more into it then Earthbound Beginnings.

@blindsquarel PBG? Wouldn't know, but I did find it bittersweet as this series has been going on since I was a kid.
@MarioLover92 I played a lot of Emerald in the mid-2000s, and quite a bit of Fire Red. My brother had Sapphire and Leaf Green. I never had the chance to play Diamond or Pearl, so maybe I'll consider the Switch release at some point. The only Switch one I played was Let's Go Eevee. Thank, I'm having fun with it so far. Have fun with Crystal, I still remember buying Gold on 3DS close to release. It was bought as a download code via GameStop (I wanted to try their digital shop, so I bought this and F-Zero on Wii U), and it gave me a 3DS theme and Celebi for Ultra Sun. I have Ultra Sun too, but it was a cool offer.
Neat, I don't think I've played any of the Disgaea games.
Yeah, almost a decade ago, we had a hurricane, and it knocked out the power. So I played Sonic Advance 3 during the week the power was out. It was handy as I couldn't charge up my DS, 3DS, or GBA SP. In the storm, the family was safe. The shelter for the coastal residents was five minutes from where I lived and I live in-land.
Yeah, our Disney talk put me in a Disney mood recently, so decided to watch that as it's been awhile since seeing it.
@Zuljaras Nice, I always loved how the Classic NES series used the NES grey on the carts. I have Dr. Mario and Ice Climber.
@Aozz101x Have fun playing those. I really need to get an eShop card soon to buy some games I wanted to get for some time. I actually bought Dr. Luigi last year, I still checked both eShops regularly.
@blindsquarel Oh ok. I guess he's one I don't really watch.
The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
The GBA NES series was how I first played the first Legend of Zelda. Love that little grey cartridge. I also have Dr Mario, though I've kept that one sealed.
Did you know these games have a weird active anti-piracy method basically no other GBA games have? I found out when I created a backup of my TLoZ cartridge: the game won't play on emulators unless you literally patch the file.
