@MarioLover92 Yup. Just tried the two Sonic racing games with the Wii Remote Plus that's not working, again, no issues. The Wii Remote Plus now just works like a regular Wii Remote. Tried the two Sonic racing games as it controls similarly to Mario Kart, sideways for steering.

Very cool, the only thing I have like that are those PDP Fight Pads for Wii/Wii U, it's a classic controller pro, just looks like a GameCube one, and a wired gamepad for Switch. Both are Yoshi themed.

@Sunsy That's good, at least. The last game I played with my Mario Wii Remote was Super Mario Galaxy 2, and it worked totally fine. I've been wanting to play Wii Sports Resort for old time's sake too, so good opportunity to see if the Motion Plus still works.

Nice, I remember those, especially the Metal Mario one. I was thinking about getting it, but decided to stick with the GameCube-like controllers from Hori. They're themed after Mario and Luigi. Did you know that Nintendo themselves actually made Mario and Luigi themed GameCube controllers as Club Nintendo rewards in Japan? I would love to have them!

Guys... What a direct. I'm so happy. SO HAPPY. I was moved to tears by Xenoblade 3. I cannot wait.

I love this world because this game is in it. My heart.... it can't take it.

10 out of 10, That was one of the best one's I have seen, Earth bound, Mario kart DLC! and Xenoblade three! what more could I ask for.

Been awhile since i've posted (havent even changed my profile pic). But that was a pretty great Direct I thought and I had to share in the enthusiasm 😁 My favorite part was either Kirby trying to eat a car, or the reveal of The Fish Stick in Splatoon 3. All I could think of afterwords was:

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe getting DLC is the best part of the direct for me. Then again, I am a huge Mario Kart fan and I've always wanted more courses to play on! I'm excited for Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and EarthBound on NSO as well.

Here's how I feel about all this stuff, especially MK8D. Pretend I'm Rapunzel!

Now we just gotta have Mario Party Superstars DLC boards...and Super Mario Odyssey 2. Make them happen, Nintendo!

I'm different. Very unpopular opinion.
That was very disappointing Nintendo Direct for me. 😑
I have Zero interest with Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, Soccer things, Earthbound, the majority games shown.
Nintendo Switch Sports was also disappointing for No Boxing on it.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC was not really urgent for me, I can consider it next year.
I have to check play-asia for the upcoming games that didn't aired from the Direct.

Overall, it was 1 from 10 for the Direct just now. Dreadful Direct in my opinion. 😑

Let's see... Portal, Klonoa (played the GBA ones on Wii U), BOTH Earthbound games on NSO, Mario Kart DLC, Asphalt Disney Edition Disney Speedstorm! That Direct was great!

I demand Vanellope Von Schweetz for that Disney Asphalt clone thing, same with Anna, Sofia, and Rapunzel!

Neat, I only have one game that uses Motion Plus. Everything else uses the Wii remote. Never had Sports Resort, though I have played it with a friend a long time ago.

I remember buying that one for my nephew one day when my brother said they're Smash controller stopped working. He had only a Wii at the time. Cool, I didn't know that.

@Sunsy Ah yeah Klonoa looks great as well! Though, I have the PS1 version downloaded on my PS3, so I may get it on sale if I wanna play it on my bed, lol. Agreed...the direct was pretty amazing! Words can't express how excited I am for the Mario Kart DLC! That Mario Strikers game looks pretty sweet too, I never played it on the GameCube or Wii, so the Switch entry would be the first one I play.

I HAD to post that gif, lol. I love Tangled, as well, it's one of my favorite Disney movies. I may consider giving Disney Speedstorm a shot as well.

I have Wii Sports Resort and Skyward Sword - everything else just uses the regular Wii Remote, I believe. Shifting gears to SS, that was one of the few Zelda games I had trouble playing. Couldn't beat the first boss. That, and Majora's Mask. That one, I literally got stuck on after starting the three days over.

Oh that was cool of you to do that for your nephew. Yep - we really do learn something new every day!

I was not planning to play EarthBound tonight, like I started playing Beginnings again.

@MarioLover92 Cool, I never played the console Klonoa, always wanted to. The GBA game was the closest I've played. So this announcement made me happy. 48 Mario Kart tracks, it's like a whole new game being added. Super Mario Strikers really caught me off-guard.

It's one of my favorites too! Got reminded of Tangled recently, found a Rapunzel shirt I got years ago in a draw.

I've enjoyed Asphalt, so I'm hoping Gameloft makes a solid racer. The fine print in the Direct saying NSO is required, I can't help but wonder if that's a typo. Usually F2P online games don't require NSO, and the game page on Nintendo's site, doesn't mention NSO. Asphalt, World of Tanks Blitz, Brawlhalla, and Paladins can play without NSO. Just something that caught my attention as I'm rewatching the Direct with a friend.

Didn't know Skyward Sword required Motion Plus. The only Zelda game I have on Wii is the Crossbow Training that came with the Wii Zapper.
