@Zuljaras a fairy garden is a type of terrarium-style craft that focuses on arranging figurines and accessories on the ground or in a planter/etc to create a naturalistic scene, usually they're made to seem like a fairy lives there, hence the name.
The other bit was just a reference to the typical trope of the haunted house on the hill. As in, instead of a fairy garden, it would be a spooky type thing.
Finally got my hands on Super Mario Sunshine and Sonic Heroes, can't wait to replay those once they arrived.

Today, I learned that the Nintendo Switch has sold over 100 million units. It's now Nintendo's best-selling home console, too - hooray for them!
@tekoii I'll be one happy guy if they announce the sequel to Super Mario Odyssey, lol. I'm not expecting it at the moment, since they haven't said a word about the next Mario platformer, but it would be awesome to see.
I actually like Mega Man X4 as much as X1 - it's one of my favorite MM games to be perfectly honest. The only not-so-good part is the voice acting.
@Sunsy That one looks really nice as well! That's good you've got no problem with wearing a pink shirt, I remember those shirts that would say "tough guys wear pink," as well. My profile pic has quite a bit of pink as well, and you can see Peach in the distance too. I've had it up since my birthday. I would also like to get a pic of mom's Peach sweater.
That's cool. I only had the Sonic X one, I think my brother had one that had Pokemon episodes on it. We also had a Video Now, which was that portable mini DVD player with a tiny screen, and they'd have stuff like Nicktoon shows watchable on it.
Nice - the grape GBC was the first handheld I had, period. One of my relatives had the original Game Boy, though, and before I had the GBC, we'd have the Super Game Boy cart for our SNES. I remember my dad playing Donkey Kong '94 on it. I think he had Centipede/Millipede for the Game Boy, too.
Oh yeah absolutely, I do like some M-rated games too, such as Halo and Doom (the new one). I do want to play the older Doom games as well - always liked retro games anyway, lol. I should get more time in stuff like Persona 4 and Bayonetta, too.
@Tyranexx Ah yeah, I remember hearing that those Disney games were pretty tough, especially The Lion King. I never played them, so I can't really comment on those. I played my fair share of tough games - Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels already springs to mind, but I also played stuff like the Mega Man games, Cuphead, and Ghosts 'n Goblins. To put it lightly, these games are no jolly holiday with Mary Poppins. lol
Yeah...those GameCube games are not cheap in the slightest. Which is why I'm eternally grateful for keeping a lot of them myself. That price for Paper Mario: TTYD, for example, is just insane. Even if Nintendo threw the GameCube games on NSO or something, that would be great...I would have been more excited for GC games than those Genesis games that they opted for, for some reason.
@Tyranexx Cool, and understandable. I'm planning on making some salmon tonight. My mother wanted it, and I'm going to have some too since it's my favorite kind of fish I like. Awesome, it comes down to personal taste.
Good to hear you have power, it's been a bit warmer, so we had rain today. Still cold outside, but not how it was over the weekend. It will help clear away some of the snow.
@MarioLover92 I think I remember those too. Wouldn't wear them as they're not a character I like, lol. I noticed and yes I see Peach!
Cool, I think the Pokemon ones are unique. IIRC, Majeco published the GBA Videos, however Nintendo published the Pokemon ones. I never had a Video Now, I remember wanting one for on the go Jimmy Neutron, then GBA Video happened. I think GBA Video was going after that concept.
That's what I did when playing Donkey Kong 94, used the Super Game Boy. We had one of those too, I remember using it to play Pokemon on the TV, something most I knew did not do as they moved on to PlayStation or Nintendo 64. My brother and I had those, but I still played my SNES as well.
The older Doom games are classics. I have them on PC and Switch, I'd say Switch (as well as the Xbox One and PS4 versions) are the best console ones as they are the PC versions. Other console versions were changed due to limitations, I have the GBA port of it. It's great, but missing levels and two boss fights. Also, PC Doom is the best thanks to custom levels and mods the community makes until this day.

I've been playing through banjo, and let me tell you. Damn that game holds up so well, It doesn't even feel all that dated, it feels like a game that could have came out today!
Sure the camera is a little wonk, and some things here and there, but it plays so well, and its an amazing collect-a-thon, and if you pay 60$ a year for NSO, just for banjo, I can't blame you.
And the music, the music is something else!
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

@Snatcher
I saw Banjo XBOX 360 gameplay from YouTube and didn't understand at all the gameplay objection. I don't understand the appeal of Banjo games.
@Snatcher Spiral Mountain is one of the best pieces of music. I never had a chance to play Banjo-Kazooie on N64, I have the GBA adaptation of the game and even the handheld version is a really fun game to play. Same premise, a collect-a-thon platformer, except it's from a top down view.

@Sunsy Yep, there she is getting coins! Yeah, I tend to wear shirts of all my favorite characters, and I have a Peach tee as well. Mine is blue, and it shows a 2D picture of Peach running. She's sort of rainbow-colored, too. I see, it makes sense that Nintendo themselves published the Pokemon GBA Video carts - they own the franchise, after all.
I remember you could play the Pokemon games on a Super Game Boy as well. The US boxes didn't specify, but they are indeed SGB-enhanced games. I think Gold and Silver could be played on a SGB, too. I actually liked how if you play Red or Blue on a Game Boy Color, most of the game's graphics would be their respective colors. That was a really neat touch.
Cool to hear that classic Doom's still getting mods to this day. Yeah, I did see that all the classic Doom games have been rereleased on modern platforms, which is cool, but didn't I hear that you now have to register for a Bethesda account to play or something? Oh and speaking of mods, there's a Sonic Mania mod that caught my eye, which is called Sonic Gaiden. I looked it up on Twitter for a bit, and I think the project's on hold now. That's ok - as long as the game turns out to be fun, that's all I care about.
@Anti-Matter The appeal of Banjo-Kazooie is that just like Super Mario 64, it's a fun, light-hearted 3D platformer with creative worlds to run around in. It was also developed by Rare, the same guys who made the Donkey Kong Country series on the SNES. It's one of my favorite games from my childhood, I actually beat the game a couple years ago and I totally agree with @Snatcher - the game still holds up exponentially well. You'd collect music notes, jigsaw pieces (aka Jiggies), and Jinjos scattered throughout the worlds to progress through the game.
