@Eel NGL, that game was really fun, and I actually played the hell out of it with a friend.

@Snatcher I played it to almost completion with my brother.

Then he broke up with his girlfriend (who gifted him the game)… And then the proceeded to pretend the game didn’t exist, so it was a bit of a cliffhanger there.

So I might play it to the end now that it’s been long enough that I don’t mind starting over from the beginning on my own profile.

@Eel Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Well if you get the time, you should totally play it over again, Oh and the toybox? amazing, I love it!

I want to get hiatus from this website.
I have difficult situation that forced me to take a break from pursuing my gaming hobby, i cannot explain the real situation of me.
It's really hard for me to suddenly stop adding my games collection as it's my gaming hobby but i really have to do it.
I'm not sure if i will return again.
I will miss you all...

@Eel Toy Story 3? I had the DS version. It was pretty fun. I never had the console version but from what I've seen online, it looks way better. There's a toy box and stuff. On DS, all we had was a stupid tower defense minigame.

I have so many memories of my DS as a kid, but now that I look back, most of my games were not very good. I had 3 good games, Sonic Rush, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, and Kirby Super Star Ultra. However, I didn't have any games that people think of as essential to the DS's library. No Mario Kart DS, no New Super Mario Bros., no Mario 64 DS, no Zelda, no Pokemon, no Ace Attorney.

@Blooper987 I agree, I spent a lot of time playing and racing in Cars 2.

@Eel I remember renting Toy Story 3 on Wii. I believe it was the same game, just toned down graphics. I also had the Wii version of Infinity. Same game, but toned down (example, playsets were broken up, the toy box was 6 different toyboxes due to limitations of Wii). Still remember it was cool Disney gave a free upgrade to those who bought a Wii U.

@Sunsy I do remember hearing that Toy Story 3, particularly the toy box mode, became the basis for Disney Infinity. It’s kinda cool like that.

Been finding myself playing Splatoon 2 quite a bit. Finally got to putting more time into Salmon Run, I'm getting pretty decent at it, though a lot of the time I found the area to be swarming with enemies. Perhaps I put more emphasis on beating the bosses or something. I'd get weapons that don't exactly sit well with me either, lol.

@VoidofLight I do have Persona 4 Golden on Steam, I haven't made too much progress in the game yet, but from what I played it's pretty good. I'm hoping to get to it sooner or later...provided that I'm in the mood for an RPG. lol

@Sunsy Yeah I did hear the first Rayman is super hard, I saw a couple reviews that mentioned its high difficulty. Agreed on Mario Paint's animation feature, when I was a kid I would make one with Mario stamps, so it looked like Mario's walking from one side to another.

That's cool, I would play Mario Kart Wii as my online game of choice back in the Wii days. I would have played Super Smash Bros. Brawl online more often as well, but 1) there was only one save file and my brother kept hogging the Wii to play it with his friends, and 2) it got insanely laggy at points. MKW didn't have those issues, thankfully, and I'm much better at Mario Kart as opposed to Smash Bros.

@Tyranexx Oh that's cool, I haven't read that much manga myself. I think I recall reading a Dragon Ball manga once, but must have been years ago. In regards to My Hero Academia, I only saw the anime, and haven't gotten to the movies either. There was one R-rated movie that I saw, called The Big Lebowski, and it's really good. It does have quite a lot of cursing, so not recommended for your grandmother. lol

@Link-Hero Yeah, I didn't like Shadow The Hedgehog either. I thought the game looked dumb when I first saw it on a Nintendo Power magazine years ago. I did get to play it sometime after my brother got it, and yep, it played like total junk. The game had a true ending via its last story, too...making the multiple endings even more pointless.

@Mikmoomamimocki Ah yeah I remember that, I ended up getting the game on PC as well. Not a lot of people have been playing Transformed online, sadly. Probably because Mario Kart was still the most popular kart racer by a long shot, though CTR: Nitro-Fueled has been giving it some competition for a few years now.

@Eel Ah, Disney Infinity, They really should have finished the last game, it would have allowed you to use characters from other series in a different world, so Disney in star wars toy boxes, God it just sucks it flopped the way it did, it had a lot of issue's, but none I don't think couldn't be fixed.

Oh and toy story 3 gets a good 8/10 for me, which is rare for me with a game like this.

@Eel Yeah, same developer I believe too, Avalanche. WB did bring them back and they did Cars 3, which plays similarly to Cars 2.

@MarioLover92 I use to do the same too. It felt like making your own Mario-style presentation. I once used the car stamp, and drew a background that moved too.

Mine too. I played Mario Kart Wii a lot online, as well as Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, GoldenEye 007, and Call of Duty MW3 (the latter two, outlived Wi-Fi Connection thanks to Activision running their own servers until 2020). Agreed, I didn't play Smash online much because of the lag. I did play Smash on Wii U the day of Smash Ultimate online, just to see if people were still playing it.

@Snatcher I can't help but agree with Infinity. Had a lot of fun between the Wii version, and 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 on Wii U. Got reminded of it months ago via TV Tropes. I was looking up TV Tropes for Sofia the First when I was binging it a couple years back (don't have Disney+, so I was watching Disney stuff Netflix had before it disappears), and to my surprise the show creator wanted Sofia and Elena of Avalor in the game.

Given there was a crossover movie with the two characters, Elena and the Secret of Avalor, I probably would have guess it would have been based off that. You can't help but wonder what else and who else would appear in Infinity.

There could have been a Moana set if 4.0 happened too.

@Sunsy There was going to be a Moana set, you can even look up the figs for it, We lost soo many characters.

@Tyranexx Ahh looks like you're making a good deal of progress through! I LOVE the fact that Poppi gets powered up to a 2nd form. So awesome. Ahhh man also.. the Archipelago is such a cool area with the whole cloud mountain, the music and aesthetics are sick. Did not expect such a serene and unique area. The game does start to pick up a lot in terms of plot and combat as you get into the later chapters. Also, I'm glad you're enjoying XC2 so far though, along with @BruceCM and @NintendoByNature !!

@WoomyNNYes Word, I hear that.. been a while since I been on there as well. I did play a few games, I as alright in some then... I started floppin LOL, you know how it is, it's Rocket League xD.

Btw, that new Kirby trailer that dropped was frickin awesome. I am ready to day one the crap outta Kirby when it releases UwU.

@Sunsy Oh that's cool. I may get into animation at some point too, since I like stuff such as Disney movies. Mario Kart Wii was kind of the only one I played extensively, in hindsight I wish I got Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing when it came out, but at least I did get to play its two sequels. I played a little bit of Mario Sports Mix online as well, when I had that game. Didn't work too great from what I recall, and the person I was playing against probably DC'd. Ah well. I think Nintendo Life made a couple videos about what 3DS and Wii U games are still being played online, I recall Jon Cartwright saying that there's quite a few people playing the first Splatoon.

@Link-Hero Oh yeah, I remember that ending...that one was really messed up. I think I first saw that on a YouTube video that showed all the endings you could get. Agreed - that was rather distasteful on Sega's part.

@tekoii Yeah absolutely. I started playing Halo a couple nights ago, btw - it's a bit tough at points but I'm liking it so far.

@Snatcher Indeed, would have been great to explore Moana's world. As someone who watched Sofia the First, I can't help but wonder how she would have been for Infinity. Despite being a Disney Junior series, the show was pretty adventurous and Sofia got herself in some tough situations at times, especially in later seasons.

@tekoii I have to mention this to you, your stream popped up on YouTube the other day. Don't know why it did because I was logged out, but it made me happy seeing someone having fun with Sonic Adventure DX (apologies for mentioning it here, this is the only place I see you).

@MarioLover92 Sounds like an idea. I think the game is still sold on Steam, I bought the first game during a "Sonic Movie" sale Sega had a few years back. Really a fun racing game, some of the Sega tracks were fun, I like the Billy Hatcher one. I saw that video, I still pop in Splatoon 1 just to play online for a bit once in a blue moon. I did play Mario Kart 8 on Wii U a couple years back to see if anyone was still playing. It's nice seeing people still playing these old games.

@TheJGG, @BruceCM, @tekoii XC2 update:

• I wrapped up chapter 5 yesterday evening; it felt shorter than chapter 4, though that may just be me.
• Visiting Indol was interesting, to say the least. Definitely a unique area with some great tunes. Still, I think I prefer the Leftherian Archipelago overall. I'd almost call Indol the "Alcamoth" of XC2.
• The meeting between the crew and Praetor Amalthus was an interesting one, to say the least. I agree with Rex; Amalthus seems all right, but something did seem slightly off.
• As an aside, I really enjoyed the moment between Pyra and Brighid.
• After all heck broke loose thanks to Jin piloting that unearthed Judicium Titan, I love how Morag handled the situation. That was a very powerful scene; I was half expecting her to beat the living tar out of that war-happy senator. The irony is he wanted war, just...not quite yet.
• Equally powerful, IMO, was Fan's death at the hands of Jin. That was shocking.

I'm interested to see how chapter 6 pans out with Mor Ardain and Uraya on the brink of war thanks to Jin's escapade...hopefully the flames of conflict can be extinguished.

@MarioLover92 I read some manga on and off during my teens but never really committed to a series; manga volumes weren't common around where I grew up, plus having a very limited income didn't help either. XD I wanted to ease into manga again and started picking up the MHA volumes as a result. I've heard the anime is really good and stays fairly close to the source material. I've heard of The Big Lebowski but confess I haven't seen it.

@Anti-Matter Everyone deserves an internet break once in awhile, and the length is totally up to you. I hope that your situation, whatever it is, resolves well.

You guys, what's up with the Game Developers section of the forum? I don't recall it ever being there before and it just popped up for me. Is this some sort of thing that gets unlocked after a certain amount of time on the forum?
