Sorry for the lateness; I was pretty busy this week. I do have enough time to complain about how awful the whole NFT thing is, especially in the film and video-game sectors. Quentin Tarantino’s doing them, Konami too, and even voice actors like Tara Strong and Troy Baker; the latter’s collaborated with an NFT firm that sell voice-based NFTs, essentially allowing someone to buy his voice, making his own career redundant. Plus, the way he put it on Twitter was pretty awful; he asked if people would “hate or create”.
@Tyranexx Thank you for the wishes; I had a massive wave of relief fall over me when I realised I didn’t have it. I imagine everyone’s gonna get it eventually but it’s still nice to brag that you haven’t gotten it yet. I did get myself some early birthday presents on that day though; games I’m not gonna play until the 18th. One of them is Cyberpunk 2077, so I’m equally excited and nervous. It was on discount though.
Commentating on your commentary of my commentary of your commentary:
I hated that Gormotti orphan quest too. It makes replaying the game harder because of the sheer boredom. It highlights Rex’s sincerity and growing responsibility but there’s much better ways to show that than dragging him on an hour-long goose chase. Good riddance, I say.
Good thing you like Zeke, he’s one of a kind. Meeting him not once but twice made my day when I played the game all those years ago. One of my favourite Mórag moments doesn’t come until Chapter 5, I’m sure you’ll know it when you see it!
Yep, Uraya is the Satorl Marsh of the second game. The music overall is as good as in the first game but yeah, that area was a real highlight of my time in the game. Some of the field skill uses were a bit silly though. In fact all of them are.
Vandham’s death was something I didn’t expect at all. You would have thought the game developers would have not made him a full party member if he was gonna go out after just one chapter. A masterful trick indeed and a worthy death. As for Mythra… that sleepwalking scene was hilarious if a bit on the risqué side.
Looking forward to the next one!
One of the silliest remarks he made as of late was," Nintendo doesn't innovate sh** compared to Sony, all they have is Mario & Zelda". My eyes literally rolled back into my head as I face palmed for days. [...] It's like, video game tribalism, expect he's pretending to be with the tribe.
I’m a bit late but that’s just awful. The only thing worse than having friends who don’t play video games is having friends that blindly hate them. My Dad says that too as a joke; but it’s just that, a joke. Besides, Nintendo came up with the whole “lateral thinking with withered technology” idea.
Some people do it just for attention though, if that’s the case let sleeping dogs lie. That’s a disaster waiting to happen.
You describe [gaming] as a checklist or some kind of a chore. Why would you even care if you are not thrilled about the upcoming Switch games?
I agree wholeheartedly. The moment gaming becomes about playing games for the sake of it instead of enjoyment, there’s no use anymore.
I also saw your diorama video, you can be very proud of your work. The textures of the blocks are gorgeous.
@WoomyNNYes That takes guts, running in that kind of weather. Teach me your secrets! I’m so bad with cold weather it’s not even funny anymore. We went paddleboarding yesterday and I made the mistake of voluntarily jumping into the bay after an hour without falling in. Shivering for hours.
@TheJGG the whole NFT thing is getting out of hand, and all of them are scams pretty much. Sega seems to be trying to go through with it, despite the message they made earlier on, Square is doing it as well. The asset thing was already bad enough, but now the voice-based ones that actively harm people's careers on top of the eco-system and people's wallets are becoming a threat. I don't get why a voice actor would even be okay with promoting a career-ender like that, unless the dude was just that oblivious to what these even are. NFTs open up a gateway to theft and just so many disgusting things.. that I'm surprised no one is trying to step in and stop this.

@Snatcher Sad thing is, too many gullible fools are buying into these, thinking they're the future or how they'll get rich off of them, never stopping to realize that this is just a scheme. People who buy the NFTs never actually make that money they spent back. They never turn a profit in most cases, since they mostly just sit on their investment, waiting for the day people actually want it. All while companies and producers of these NFTs end up striking it rich from the gullible idiots who'll eat it up.
Some NFT makers are even awful themselves, like the one dude who made NFTs that profit off of Etika's likeness, without permission from the man's family, or how someone brought Stan Lee back from the dead to force him to shill NFTs of one of his Super Heroes. It's just absolutely awful.

@VoidofLight I’m also very concerned that some people genuinely think selling off their voice is a tangible and sustainable source of income. I struggle to see the point in NFTs in this kind of capacity, I’m not all that bothered about ownership when it comes to images and songs. I literally went into the Konami auction site and downloaded half of the NFT images, proving just how silly it is.
I had a thought though. Technically we’ve all been using NFTs whenever we download a game. Specifically on PS4/5, when we download a game we need an internet connection to register our ownership of the game. That’s a genuine use for them. Tickets to events, maybe passes, or membership cards can use this, but of course the word spreads and people treat these like the second coming of Christ.
I could screenshot your post and make an NFT out of that. It’s so easy that there’s no point honestly.
@Snatcher@Anti-Matter Yeah… some of our voice actors have gone down the rocky road. Hopefully sense wins out and we can find genuine uses for them, instead of selling pictures of our dog for $100,000.
@TheJGG Eh, NFTs are moreso just links. It’s being done to “preserve and create digital scarcity”, basically introducing a problem into a place that never needed said problem. The ownership is just a receipt, instead of the image, given the receipt is the only think you get. It’s just dumb, unless it was used for tickets like you said.

Thank you both! My next project is Castlevania Aria of Sorrow diorama made with various materials raging from polymer clay to XPS foam.
@1UP_MARIO
DDR Mario Mix is still too easy for me judging from their hardest stepchart pattern, as i have a lot of DDR experiences from PS1 & PS2.
Playing DDR on Gamecube with Gamecube controller is not really right to play as the controller doesn't have DDR pattern layout on A B X Y buttons, only PlayStation controller style is perfect for playing DDR consoles with normal controller as it has symmetric buttons layout and it looks like Double panel DDR mat.
Btw, i got another Gamecube game this evening.
I will post the photo after this.
@X-Slayer Its something that happens sometimes, because it actually shouldn't be able to post a copy of another one you wrote, yet it does this sometimes LOL.
Nintendo are like woman, You love them for whats on the inside, not the outside…you know what I mean! Luzlane best girl!

Hiya ! 😃
I got Sonic Heroes Gamecube version this evening with Major League Baseball 2K10 PS3 as wild card choice.
So far from my impression, Sonic Heroes was quite easy for the earlier stage.
I have tried Team Sonic and Team Rose for first playing.
And for MLB 2K10.... It was my random PS3 game i picked since i found that game was on sale with really cheap price (under $10) and i was curious to try a realistic Baseball game, just only one series since i'm not a gamer who playing annual sport games like FIFA / NBA / NHL.
I picked Baseball since it was the only team sport that i have little interest than other team sports as i prefer individual sports than team sports. Got the Baseball interest from anime.
I only picked one (the best i can pick) and will not picked another annual series. I'm not kind of gamer like that.
I was wrong with MLB 2K10 PS3.
The game was completely confusing with very complicated way to swing the bat or pitch the ball by using analog sticks.
My impression was quickly dropped to zero, like i have no interest anymore with the game. 😑
Glad i only lost a little bit money.
And i immediately compared with my Little League World Series Baseball 2009 Wii with cartoonish looking and the gameplay was waaaay.... Much easier in term of swinging the bat or pitching the ball, just only matter my accuracy in hitting ball and adjusting my power to throw the ball.
I should know if realistic annual sport games will never be kind of my gaming style.
I regret with my purchase of MLB 2K10 PS3.
@TheJGG Layering is helpful. I wore two jackets, instead of one thick insulate one. I wore a light jacket (Marmot windshirt) and over that I wore a fleece lined shell jacket (Helly Hansen crew midlayer jacket - it's called midlayer, but i've used it as my outer layer). I have a heavy, insulated coat, but I prefer to layer two lighter coats - that way, you can add or shed a layer later. My two coats are well vented too, which helps if you're very active in winter.
When I skied a lot, I had half zip fleece shirt that I'd wear under my Spyder ski jacket shell. If I needed more warmth, added a layer of clothing underneath my fleece shirt.
Anyway, this is what I wore, in case you wanted to see.
Marmot Driclime Windshirt (i can't tell if these have been discontinued, but everyone at the ski shop I was at had one of these. They were so light, offered protection from wind, had thin fleece lining, and they dried super fast if they ever got wet) https://www.amazon.com/Marmot-Precip-Jacket-3X-Large-Black/dp...
Helly Hansen Crew Midlayer jacket(I wear this as an exterior jacket, even though it's called midlayer. I didn't like any jackets at my ski shop, but I like helly hansen's fit when I tried others on. So, I shopped Helly Hansen online took a chance, go this coat. Ordered from amazon because of easy returns. but for me, the coat was a keeper. Turns out its designed for sailing/winter, so, it's designed to dry quick AF) https://www.hellyhansen.com/en_us/crew-midlayer-jacket-30253?...
Nike Baselayer Thermatight (i got these because they were thermal leggings. I may not be using this as intended. I dont' know if there's a better legging for winter, I've never bought running tights before. I wore longjohns underneath them https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NJP8GXM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_...
