@tekoii Merry Christmas, it was a good one. Also wishing @TheJGG and @Losermagnet a Merry Christmas too.
@WoomyNNYes Glad you set everything up ok, I still remember the Christmas I got my 3DS. Lucked out when I downloaded Zelda Four Swords, everything else and my Wii were down because of everyone accessing the Internet on their then new 3DS and Wii systems. Good to know that then, I'm hoping to redeem the Sonic Colors DLC that came with it, it was a launch edition.
@JaxonH My condolences. I'm glad you got to spend one last Christmas together, sorry to hear about the news.

Quick question about Pokemon Rumble World 3DS and Pokemon Rumble Blast 3DS physical version. (as i saw from my local online shopping website)
Are those two games can be played Offline ?
Are those games need some update from 3DS eshop ?
Wishing @JaxonH a Happy Christmas but my sincerest condolences as well, losing a parent is not easy and I hope you can find the strength to carry on and remember, but not linger, if you know what I mean. We all deal with grief in different ways but coming together is what most sane humans have in common. We’re here for you.
Merry Christmas @Sunsy and @tekoii! Hope you all had time to celebrate and be with loved ones.
I’m writing this from possibly the worst hotel I’ve been at in my life. But giving up is the last resort in our family, thank god. After ten days on the road this is but the latest in our adventure!
@TheJGG Ahh, is that from around Petra? Even if it's not, looks awesome! I've never been there, but I've seen enough, that that looks like the geology of that area. Which is part of why I was pretty good at GeoGuessr. (I think i was pretty good, anyway)
@JaxonH I would like to express my sincerest condolences as well. In my experience, it is so bizarre when a person close to myself just disappears from this world and never comes back. I know it really just sank in much later for me when you miss that person and afterwards somewhat get used to it again.
It is really great that you could have this christmas together and i am glad he passed away in his sleep without any pain, furthermore with 78.
Also really wishing you all the best for now, this is just so recent

@WoomyNNYes Not quite Petra, although we did go there! Saw the Treasury, and we went up to a monastery after climbing up 900 stairs. Happy to visit, especially for Christmas. I didn’t expect it at all when I woke up on January first this year.
That’s got to be one of the most dreaded events a human can go through, even if you’ve had a long time to prepare and one last happy moment, it’s not an easy experience. I hope you and your family have a peaceful grieving period and get through it together.
Merry Christmas all, I had a really great one, And it was Enjoyed to the fullest. Also a thanks to all of you as you guys have gotten me through some tough times, thank you!
I hope everyone else, had a great Christmas, Its days like this that reminded me, i'm really blessed!
And a happy new year!
@TheJGG If you don't mind me asking, but just what makes the hotel so bad? I need to know!

@Eel
Um, did you play Pokemon Rumble World and Blast 3DS physical version ?
Could you help to answer my quick question about those games before i pick the games ?
@Eel
Are those games can be played offline ?
I saw some cheap prices of both games (Rumble World and Rumble Blast USA physical version) on my local online shopping website and i need to know this first before getting them.
@Anti-Matter well I can’t talk about Blast since I haven’t played that, but I don't remember World having any major multiplayer component outside of finding Miis from other players in missions and your plaza. (They’re not real players, only their Miis representing them)
I think you’d really enjoy World, since you can give roles to Miis.
@Anti-Matter I don’t have those games (my version of World is the free to play version) so I wouldn’t know if they require an internet connection to play, sorry.
@TheJGG Thanks, definitely did. Nephew and I were laughing at some video games he was playing, and I got to watch Trolls Holiday In Harmony with my sister-in-law, and they got me Shin Megami Tensei V, steelbook version. It was a good time with family.
@Anti-Matter I don't have the physical version, the F2P download version of Pokemon Rumble World works offline from what I remember. I was away from home when playing it. So I assume it's the same with the physical version.
@Snatcher Merry Christmas, glad it was great one. Aww, that's nice. This place is great. That's why I posted how thankful I was about this thread awhile back. I feel like I could be myself.
Christmas was great. Nephew and I laughed at some video games, watched Trolls Holiday In Harmony with my sister-in-law, and got Shin Megami Tensei V (this game is excellent so far), Sonic Colors Ultimate, some Trolls figures (Poppy and Val), and a couple of shirts and a book.
The shirts had characters I love on them (Poppy on one, Pipp from My Little Pony on the other), and the book was a Trolls World Tour book with some beautiful artwork in it.

Yeah the free version doesn’t really force you to be online. But you kinda need to be able to connect online to enjoy it completely.
I assume the physical version is different in that front though, since it doesn’t have micro transactions. But I can’t say for sure.

In other news, I’m finally getting comfortable using the MacBook Air. I’ve installed and configured most of the tools I need for work, and even bought Stardew Valley on GOG just to have it on it without having to install steam. I probably won’t play it too much, but I just like having at least one game on every device just in case.
The keyboard in particular, after getting using to the position of the function keys, and the (rather huge) trackpad, are extremely nice. I was able to transition to it really quickly. Which is nice.
The lack of a touch screen is a bit confusing though. But I guess I’ll get used to it.
Also, it felt a bit wrong, but I gutted the box to make more space inside to store small objects in there. I call it… repurposing…
